Auto-sync sub folders
If you sync a main folder, every folder under it or created inside it should get synced. I shouldn't have to go back to box.com to see if someone added a folder to the main directory if I have it so that directory is synced.
So if I have main directory Projects and someone adds a folder called Peanuts, it should automatically sync the peanuts folder and all its contetns because I told box to sync everything in the Projects folder. I shouldn't have to search out new folders every day, it should automatically download them to my computer.

Allow Users and Admins to set folders to be excluded from search results
It would be useful if Administrators had the ability to set folders to be excluded from Search results by default. For example, if a folder is used for historical archive purposes it might not be relevant for the majority of searches, but inclusion in search results will make it harder to find what the user is actually looking for. It would also be useful if users could do this for their own accounts as well.
One possible method of implementation is to add a Tag called "Archive" (or something similar) to folders that Users and/or Admins can set to exclude the folder from search results.
During searching, a prompt could be displayed with the option "See matches in Archive folders" to allow users to reinclude those excluded folders when necessary.

status completion report when copying a file to another folder
Can we get a status completion report when copying a file to a new folder? Sometimes all the permissions don't copy over straight away, causing confusion. for example, I was unable to rename a file I just copied. I waited a while and then it worked.

Acces to the folder via the menu
When clicking on the Box Canvas button, we should access to the folder with all the canvas. Currently, it creates a canvas whereas there is a button existing for this yet/

Ability to to delete saved previous versions
I am burning through storage because Box is saving every version of a file I am working on. There is currently no easy way to cut down and delete all previous versions of a file, and going through one by one is time consuming (and after I did, did not seem to decrease the folder size anyways). It would be awesome if there was a way to delete all previous versions of a file and only keep the most recent one.

Update to Grid View No Longer Shows File Count
The new update to Box has removed the file count from folders when looking at the browser version of Box in Grid view. This was not the case previously.

Dedicated File Shortcuts without using Bookmarks
Currently if I want to create a link from one folder to a file or folder stored elsewhere in the system, the recommendation is to use Bookmarks. This method has several disadvantages.
• First, it requires creating the link on the target file or folder, meaning you need to navigate away from the folder where the bookmark needs to exist.
• Second, shared links can be removed, disabled, or expired, which would break the bookmark.
• Third, bookmarks do not work in Box Drive.I would suggest a dedicated mechanism within the Box system for creating and maintaining shortcuts, which is independent of the Bookmark system. Such a system would avoid the disadvantages above and provide some extra benefit. For example, if a file is the target of such a shortcut, that relationship could be viewable through an option in the file’s “More Options” menu allowing file owners to see and manage those shortcuts. Additional auditing would also be possible, with information showing who accessed the file from the shortcut.
The implementation I envision includes a new option in the “New +” menu of the web interface. Selecting this option would open a search dialog where a user could search through their box content directly.
Upon selecting a file, the user would then be prompted to select “Shortcut Permissions” that determine how other users can interact with the target file.
If the shortcut creator has Editor permissions on the target, they would be able to select from the following:
• None – users who do not already have permission to view the target are unable to use the shortcut
• Preview Only – users who do not already have permission to view the target are able to open the target in the web-viewer, but not download the file
• View and Download – users who do not already have permission to view the target file are able to preview the target file or download a copy of the target file.
o This is like creating a “can view and download” shared link and embedding it in a bookmark.
• Edit – users who do not already have permission to view the target file are able to view, download, and Edit the target file
o This is like creating a public “Can edit” shared link and embedding it in a bookmarkIf the shortcut creator has “Viewer” or “Viewer Uploader” permissions on the target, they would be able to select from the following:
• None – users who do not already have permission to view the target are unable to use the shortcut
• Preview Only – users who do not already have permission to view the target are able to open the target in the web-viewer, but not download the file
• View and Download – users who do not already have permission to view the target file are able to preview the target file or download a copy of the target file.
o This is like creating a “can view and download” shared link and embedding it in a bookmark. If the shortcut creator has “Previewer” or “Previewer Uploader” permissions on the target, they would be able to select from the following:
• None – users who do not already have permission to view the target are unable to use the shortcut
• Preview Only – users who do not already have permission to view the target are able to open the target in the web-viewer, but not download the fileSimilarly, other users’ interactions will be based on their permission in the folder containing the shortcut.
If a user is has editor permissions in the folder containing the shortcut a shortcut with “Edit” Shortcut permissions, then they will be able to edit the file.
If a user has Viewer permissions in the folder containing the shortcut, then they would only have “Viewer” permissions to the target file even if the shortcut creator gave the shortcut “Edit” permissions.
Finally, if the user already has some level of permission to the target file, and it exceeds the permission of the Shortcut, then that permission level would apply.

Add a feature to include all recipients in the fully executed copy notification and to attached a fully executed copy in PDF. Currently it
Please add a feature to include all recipients in the fully executed copy notification and to attached a fully executed copy in PDF. Currently it's confusing, since the signers and cc recipients gets directly a copy of the fully executed copy, but there's no way for the signers to determine who gets a fully executed copy, which adds to the confusion. This is very useful for viewing executed pdf from a mobile device (no need to signin to Box sign app which is cumbersome esp when SSO and MFA is enabled)
Citrix RightSignatture has this feature and it's really useful.

Syncing files and having them download to devices automatically
Create a setting in Box Drive so that files, once updated, automatically sync and download to all devices for use offline. Now, we have to designate each folder for "use offline." Why not have a setting that allows us to make that the default (so it functions like Box Sync)? As it now stands, I'd have to know in advance which files I might use on a flight, if I'm traveling with a different computer. That's a pain.

User logged in local value
Feature Request: A local value that can be read to determine if a user is logged into Box Drive.
This would be useful for launching custom workflows depending on if the user is logged in or not.

Ability to automatically add permissions to a group when sending approval task in Relay
When sending an approval task in Relay to a user that does not have folder permissions, Relay would invite that user as collaborator, but if a task is sent to a group, automatic invite does not work. Expose workflow APIs to track progress of individual workflows
Today when querying for active workflows, the Box workflow API returns only workflow templates and not the actual workflow instances that each user initiates. As a relay user initiating a workflow based on a manual start trigger at the same time as other users I want to be able to query the workflow API to obtain information about a specific workflow instance, this feature will allow a user to get real time information on the status of each active workflow and not just the template. Without the ability to track the status of workflows in a granular fashion multi-step workflows with a large number of participants become extremely complex to manage and lead to inefficiencies as users participating in the workflow try to determine its status at any given time.

Using folders:items is not recursive
Running the command
box folders:items [IDOFFOLDER] --csv --save-to-file-path=[PATHTOFOLDERTOSAVE_REPORT]To get a list of files and their respective SHA1 values is difficult as this command has to be run on each folder within the tree. There should be a recursive option, or better yet, a report a user can run to provide the SHA1 values within a tree. This is very important for eDiscovery and chain of custody.

Notifications not sent when Viewer downloads watermarked file
Notifications do not get sent when a Viewer downloads a watermarked file.
I understand that the notification engine is getting replaced/upgraded, and I hope this gets fixed in the next generation. This function is important to Enterprise users trying to keep track of downloads by low-permissions users.

The BoxShield "Sign Request Restrictions" feature should be improved so that signature PDF and Log files can be generated.
In the BoxShield "Restrict BoxSign Requests" function, by selecting Access Policy > Security Control > Restrict External Collaboration > [Existing and New External Collaboration], signatures can be made, but no signature PDF or Log file is generated.
Please improve so that signature PDF and Log files can be generated normally when signing.<Japanese>
