Resize navigation pane
There should be a way to resize the width of the quick access navigation pane on left of screen. Most locations are cut off and unable to see what they actually are.

Regarding cross-file search within Box using the Box AI Agent for Copilot
We used Box AI Agent for Copilot to perform a cross-folder search across all folders in Box to which we have access (including subfolders) and to generate a ranking of the top file updaters. However, the search results were limited to files located directly under root-level folders, and files within subfolders were not included in the search scope. Since Copilot is able to perform cross-folder searches across all folders when searching SharePoint, we would appreciate it if a similar cross-folder search capability, including subfolders, could be implemented in Box AI Agent for Copilot.

Improvement of API performance and creation of guidelines for API usage
When utilizing Box’s API, if the amount of content per folder is enormous or the number of invitations to a folder is high, the processing speed drops significantly. As a result, it takes a long time to complete operations, which is quite frustrating.
We would like the API to deliver a more comfortable and speedy processing experience, so I hope you will improve the performance when using the API.
Additionally, there are currently no guidelines regarding API performance, so we have no choice but to verify performance degradation through testing.
This is hindering proactive API development. Please create clear guidelines that specify the details regarding API performance.

Support MS Teams Integration on GCCH
Would like to see Box to able to integrate with Microsoft Teams on a GCH environment without having to sideload Box into the environment by a system integrator to get it to work.

Simply MFA enablement to provide a simple SINGLE notice to collaborators that MFA was enabled for company "X"
Enabling MFA for external collaborators caused mass emails to each external collaborator for every folder they are invited to, so a collaborator invited to 100 unique folders would be sent 100 emails, and would in turn click 'accept' in those emails, causing 100 emails to be send back to the content owner that it was accepted. This appears to happen even if the collaborator has already accessed the file (Triggered by enabling MFA).
Instead of emailing for every instance of an invited collaborator email address on every folder, instead prompt them to setup MFA only when they access a file or folder that requires MFA and only if they have not already setup MFA, or optionally, send only a SINGLE email to an external collaborator indicating that MFA had been enable by a specific company and if they wanted to access any of those files, the would need to setup MFA by accessing their Box account.
One email, rather than hundreds or thousands.

File Outcome Actions for Form Uploaded Files
Include the ability to take file actions on files uploaded from a Box Form like you can in Relay. We have several Forms and Relays that not only take text/date/dropdown input but also have file upload fields and were hoping to move them to Automate so that we could take advantage of the additional features, but are unable to since there is no option to use an Outcome to take action upon the uploaded files.

Don't cancel Box Sync!
I have used Box Sync for many years, and it does exactly what I need it to do, which includes syncing all the files that I keep there and allowing them to download to my computers. Other key features are:
on my MAC, I can search the files on the entire Mac INCLUDING the Box Sync files
I want to have ALL the Box Sync files downloaded on both my computers.
Apparently neither of these is possible with Box Drive, which will make it useless for me (and certainly not better, as all the emails claim).
KEEP BOX SYNC!

Setting to allow classification additions/increases but not deletions/decreases
Box Shields allows you to disable classification modifications for everyone except admins, but this is too restrictive. What we're looking for:
- Allow classification labels to be ranked by sensitivity
- Add configuration setting to allow Editors to add/increase sensitivity but not be able to delete/decrease sensitivity.
Without this, we're finding we have to choose between diffusing accountability of classification labels vs. administrative overhead of having an admin or owner manage all classification label additions.

Naming the photos
I have a problem. Box app names the photos with ":" marks on the time stamp and my desktop app doesn't want to download the photos with ":" -markers. This is a bad bug. I didn't find any setting to adjust the structure of the photofiles name.

Section to know who our buisness subscription contact is
Could there be a section within our account that shows our current point of contact (e.g. Account Manager)?
Our point of contact appears to change frequently, and we are often contacted by different people with various roles. It can be difficult to keep track of who we should contact when we need assistance.

Implementation of the “Keep me signed in” and “Resume from the last viewed screen” features in Personal Settings
Please keep user sessions active for a certain time even after the browser is closed.
Specifically, we would like users to be able to resume their work from the folder or screen that was open the last time they accessed Box, rather than from the home screen.
Please also allow users to select and change these options in their personal settings.
Currently, the session ends every time the browser is closed, requiring users to start from the login screen each time, which results in time loss, especially when working within deep folder hierarchies.<個人設定の中に、「セッションの保持」と「最後に表示した画面から再開する」機能の実装>
1 vote -
Pause upload/download on Box Drive
PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. I cannot describe how much this is important to me. I work on several projects that use many files simultaneously. Some of these files are large. Being unable to pause an upload/sync makes my workflow so incredibly slower.
Current life: I make some edit to a large file, my entire workflow is interrupted as said large file needs to be entirely uploaded before I can retrieve literally anything else from Box. This last part is not even Box's problem, but I have a pretty decent computer and slows down significantly during large uploads, which affects the rest of my work too. Even writing this request was a little slow.
Now, IMAGINE this wonderful little scenario: I click on the Box icon. I hit pause sync or whatever you may want to call it. I do whatever edit I want. Then, at the end of the workday, I hit resume sync.
Now IMAGINE this even better scenario for someone like me: oops, I forgot to hit the pause button before I started working. NO PROBLEM! I can pause/cancel this particular upload as it is happening.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
Thank you Box team!

I want to reuse the content entered in File Request as a task message
We are running tasks in a Relay workflow, triggered by uploads via File Request.
In Box’s current specifications, the “file description” entered by users in the File Request form is saved in the file’s description field in its properties after upload.
However, when the Relay workflow starts, the message sent to the task assignee is the one configured in Relay. This message is recorded under the file’s “Activity,” but we also need to check the description field in the file properties, which means switching views and creates extra work.
If there were a feature that allowed us to set the content entered in the File Request as the Relay task message, we would be able to use that instead of the current operational workaround.

Box Drive performance is terrible
I have had a personal Box subscription for about 20 years and used Box Sync on multiple devices (PC, Mac, Mobile) with barely a hiccup in all that time. Rock solid and reliable. For the past few years I have had my Cursor/VS Code project folders stored in Box and synced along with lots of other general document files and everything just worked with minimal noticeable lag. So I didn't think twice about installing Box Drive to take over from Box Sync.
Wow, what a disappointment. Before I could just tag a folder to "Sync" and know it would be available locally in full on all my devices. No issues, fairly instant sync. Now, I have to "Make available offline" if I actually want a folder to sync, but even then it doesn't work well. IF I can even see the accurate sync status of a folder or file the only thing I can count on is that it could be DAYS before even small changes fully sync. Or never.
Mind you I am mostly running on two fully OS updated Apple silicon Macs (M1 Max and M5 Pro Macbook Pros), on Gigabit speed Verizon FIOS connections, so there is NO excuse for a 5 second sync delay on a few updated html or js files, let alone 5 DAYS. I'm simply trying to move a few files between two powerful Macs and the changes I've made on one are simply not uploading, so the otherMac doesn't even know it's behind. Force Quitting Box and relaunching seems to get things moving again but how did this thing pass QA in such a glitchy state?
For the first time in 20 years I am seriously considering dropping Box, and can no longer recommend it to clients who might be frustrated by their experience with Google Drive or OneDrive. Not sure what's going on over there but I expect better from Box.

Make camera requirement optional for Box Mobile app installation
We would highly appreciate it if Box could modify the installation requirements for the mobile app so that it can be installed on cameraless devices.
Currently, because the app requires a camera feature, devices without a hardware camera are blocked from downloading it. Consequently, we are forced to use the web browser version, which significantly reduces operational efficiency and usability.
From a security standpoint, we have introduced and are utilizing cameraless devices to comply with strict internal security policies and confidentiality requirements. While cameraless devices may represent a small share of the general market, they are essential for organizations with high-security standards.
We kindly request Box to make the camera feature optional so that we can securely and efficiently use the native app on these specialized devices.

Send files stopped when find error in files...
Hello support guys.
I'm facing a problem and I want to ask for your help...
I usually send many files at the same time and sometimes the sending stops and the remaining files are waiting for the stopped file to be resolved before proceeding with the rest... I don't sit in front of the computer looking at the uploads and when I come back to see if it's finished the process is there waiting for my resolution...
Isn't there a way for the files that are OK to follow the flow and only wait at the end of the process for the particular file that caused the problem?
The way it is, work here is not productive.
ThanksHello support guys.
