Update Thumbnail of Video
The fact I can't update the thumbnails of my videos is incredibly frustrating. I typically upload videos of interviews and Box always picks some thumbnail image of me with my mouth wide open or some other ludicrous face. Imagine trying to send your boss or the head of your research team a video link and it has a stupid picture of yourself on it? It's humiliating. Every other video uploading software I have used has the option to update thumbnails...currently I have to try and trim the video in places to see if it will pick another image which is time-consuming. Uploading barely different versions of the same hour-long video 5 times until Box picks another image seems non-optimal.

UI enhancements to indicate moving/copying activity in progress
When moving/copying files and folders in BoxDrive, I want to be able to see visually that an operation is taking place.
Currently, BoxWeb displays a green dialog at the top of the screen when you move or copy files or folders,
but However, BoxDrive has an explorer-like feel, so I don't think this kind of display appears even when a move/copy is performed.However, BoxDrive has an Explorer-like feel, so I don't think this kind of display appears when moving/copying is performed. or some other confirmation dialog. When an operation is performed, we would like to see a confirmation dialog such as "Do you want to move/copy?" or a progress bar so that the user can visually see that an operation is in progress.
This is a request to reduce the risk of users making mistakes without realizing it.

現在、BoxWebではファイルやフォルダを移動/コピーした際に、画面上部に緑色のダイアログが表示されるようになっていますが、
BoxDriveはエクスプローラライクな操作感のため、移動/コピーが行われてもこのような表示が出ない仕様かと思います。
操作が行われると「移動/コピーを行いますか？」といったような確認ダイアログや、
操作中ということが視覚的に分かるようなプログレスバーなどを表示させるような機能を実装いただきたいです。

Ability to reduce file size when image is scanned via the Box mobile app
Ability to reduce file size when image is scanned via the Box mobile app.
- Currently, the size of PDF files obtained when we scan a document via the Box mobile app, is very large.
- Example: Box app on iPhone file size - 7.4MB; Apple's "import from iPhone" file size: -3.9MB. - Could we have the ability to resize / reduce quality of these files?13 votes -
List of current logged in users
It would be nice if Box could provide a list of current logged in users. If this already exists I am not aware of it. Please advise.

Display error when entering unsupported characters when renaming folders and files
When creating a new folder or file, if you include characters not supported by Box (other than Unicode Basic Multilingual Plane characters), receive an error.
However, when renaming, I can name files and folders using characters other than BMP.
(After renaming a folder or file, the character will automatically change to "_" after a while.)Please allow the same error to be displayed when an unsupported character is entered when renaming a folder or file,as when a new character is created.

しかし、名称変更時にはBMP以外の文字を使用したファイル名・フォルダ名を付けることができます。
(変更後しばらくすると自動的に「_」変わります。)サポートされていない文字を入力したときに、新規作成と同じようにエラーを表示できるようにしてください。

Ability to conduct e-discovery investigations without being noticed by the User
When investigating a lawsuit or security incident, we sometime want to do so without letting the target users know that he/she is under investigation.
In such case, Box admin login to the target account 'as user' from admin console. But under current specification, the target user can know this admin's activities in the 'Access Stats' and Activities in Box UI.
So I want Box to enhance the function that admin or co-admin can login as user and investigate without letting the target users know that he/she is under investigation.

Download more than 10,000 files in a single zip
Would it be possible to download more than 10,000 files in a single zip download? We have a use case where we need to download 30,000 files in a single zip.

To enhance trash for users who had an access to contents to be able to see them in it
Currently, only owner of deleted content or user who deletes content can see them in Trash. It would be helpful if deleted contents in trash can be seen by all of users who had collaborator permissions (e.g. above previewer).
This is needed because when a user deletes contents (accidentally), the "non-owner" collaborators have a difficulty of knowing what happens on contents. For some enterprises, content owner is typically a service account so every time this happens we need to find the "culprit" or connect to IT who can access as owner, which is very painful.2 votes -
Invited folders cannot be consolidated by collaborator
I am invited to view individual accounts by an outside company. I would like to be able to move these folders into a “company A” folder so that they are not at the top level of my box drive.

Co-edit password-protected files
Under current specifications, password-protected files are not supported by Box for Office Online and cannot be co-edited.
The password must be removed on the file for collaborative editing.
We request the ability to collaborate on editing even passworded files, such as being able to temporarily remove the password on Box.4 votes -
Report on new data platform doesn't reflect latest information
Report on new data platform doesn't reflect latest information
To improve report performance, Box migrated legacy to new data platform on collaboration report recently. However, new one will take about 24 hours to reflect latest data into exported report. It could be harder for admin to audit new collaboration on enterprise using report feature. There are two request for this change :
- Make sure that admin knows when the exported report is as of
- Reflect much faster like User Detail Report which can reflect 1 hours ago

Allow Relay notifications to include manually entered email addresses instead of limiting the list to existing collaborators
Currently the Relay system will only allow notifications to be sent to existing collaborators or users. There should be a way to allow any manually entered email address to be a notification destination. This would allow for group or shared email accounts to be a notification destination. Group email addresses or shared email accounts may not exist as specific collaborators but still could be useful for notifications.

Have Box Sign Template setup to be signed in-person as a URL.
I want to be able to create a template inserting the Box Sign fields into a Form. I can then save that Box Sign Template as a URL that can be completed in person and signed. Once signed the signed document is saved but the URL is not a blank form to be completed by the next person. Such as having a liability waiver or consent so that people can complete and sign them at the table on a tablet without me needing to set it up for each individual.

The file to be signed can be referred to by the link in the email regardless of the access right. You can also refer to the link for the email notification after signing.
However, if you look at your history from the sign menu, you cannot see it without permission (the page you are looking for cannot be found.)
Therefore, I want you to be able to use the same link as the email in the Box Sign menu.

Ability to "Set the order of signatures" for default values
Even if you check "Set signature order", the order is not set for the default value, so please set the order by setting the default value sequentially from the top.
「署名の順序を設定する」にチェックをつけても、デフォルト値は順番が設定されていないため、デフォルト値は上から連番にして、順番を設定してほしい。

Pre-registration of handwritten signatures and stamps with Box Sign
To register a handwritten signature or stamp with Box Sign, you need to request a new signature, and you cannot prepare in advance.

Ability to specify display sheet in URL

If you add "#p = number of pages" to the end of the URL, you can display the specified page in PowerPoint or Word.
In Excel, there was no way to specify the URL of the sheet to be displayed when accessing.
We need the ability to specify an Excel sheet in a URL.

Office Online hide collaborator name while coauthoring
Currently Box Folder setting "Hide collaborators" disables Office Online. I am guessing this is because Office Online will display the name of our co-editors that are currently in the document. We would like to see Office Online support the Hide collaborators setting, by displaying "edited by someone" rather than calling out the name of the co-editors when this folder setting is checked.

Tenant Admin and Co-Admin can check group members from the collaborator list
If the group permission setting is set to "Admins only", only the user who is the gouroup admin can display the members of the group from the collaborator list of the invited folder.
Tenant admin and co-admin cannot be set as group admin.
Even if you are a member of a group or have been invited to the same folder, you will not be able to see the members of the group without navigating to the admin console.We request functional improvements so that tenant admin and co-admin can easily check from the collaborator list.
