1. Keep Company Branding Banner with new Box Web Experience and Collections

   One of the reasons I really like Box (enterprise version), was that my users felt like we were using a 'custom to our firm' cloud-product. The beta version of your new Box Web Experience and Collections removes the company branded banner across the top; instead leaving only our logo placed next to my profile picture in the corner. Doesn't look customized enough; instead I'm one of a thousand companies using it. The green side bar running down the left of the screen is too much - reminds me of an animated cartoon. When released, I hope the ability to keep our logoed banner across the top remains, and a less harsh color is chosen for the sidebar.

2. Approval Task Message box

   When creating an Approval Task, the message box could be bigger. When typing a comment that is more than one line and you want to review the message in it's in entirety, you have to use the up/down arrows . Make the message box either 4", or allow that box to be made larger from a corner (drag it bigger)

3. Remove dialog box that pops up after downloading when you send a shared link to a document

   There is a dialog box that pops up after a shared link has been sent and the download has been completed. This box prompts the person to sign up or sign into Box to manage their downloads. It would be a great to turn off that dialog box, especially for those who are enterprise users. It confuses our clients when we send them documents and makes them think they need a box login to download anything, which is not true.

4. Increase options for File Version Limit in Admin Console

   Currently you can only choose between 1 and 100, or Unlimited. We would like options in-between 100 and Unlimited. Preferably a custom option like trash retention was recently updated to. I would like to be able to set it to 1000 or 2000, for example.

   Justification: When moving folders that have excessive versions (7000+ for example) the folder moves can fail or take a very long time. However, setting to 100 is not enough for many of our users due to the frequency of increases when using Excel Online.

6. Box Notes inbox

   I use Boxnote all day long for meeting notes, agenda, drafting documents asynchronously, etc. It's great. However, I would love to see a more streamlined inbox format so I can find relevant boxnotes more easily. I can only see 5 boxnotes listed before I have to start scrolling down the page because there are three lines of text: the file name, when it was updated, and what folder it's in. All I need is the name. If the other lines and the extra blank space were to be removed, I'd be able to see many more listed. I'd like to be able to see my 20 most recent files without scrolling endlessly. Do others have this feedback? Thanks!

7. Custom Location Box Folder on macOS Big Sur

   Hi,

   Custom location is working properly on macOS Catalina 10.15. via terminal and configuration profiles.

   We're currently testing and this ability is now lost on macOS Big Sur 11

   Could you guys kindly look into this and see if it could be implemented soon.

12. I want to name or add descriptions to the different versions of a file

    I have some documents with hundreds of versions. Right now, though, the only versions I would ever refer to are those uploaded in the past few weeks, when I remember the changes made and have context for why the file was updated. Looking back on new versions a year ago, I have no way of knowing what changes were made, what versions were major changes and what were marginal. The ability to preview prior versions is nice, but without the ability to review changes to the text, I would spend hours trying to understand what was different about a prior version. The solution: let me name versions! Instead of having version 22 and version 144, let me have "Updated Naming Conventions" and "Removed Reference to Third Party." If not a name, let me add a description to a prior version. As more people use online editors (which spam versions) this is going to be a bigger and bigger challenge.

13. Admin Console Report - Only specific admin can retrieve the logs of specific users 

    Currently, Admin is able to retrieve the log of all managed users from admin console > Report. However customer would like to make it possible for only specific administrators to retrieve report information for specific users due to GDPR. Therefor customer wants only local admin in EU to be able to get the logs of users in that country.

14. Allow email notification in folder settings via file request link.

    Now, user cannot get any notification if the file is uploaded via file request link even if notification settings are enabled in the folder settings.
    Could you expand the range of notification to file request link?

15. Automatic notification of an added sub-folder

    I would like to be notified when a new sub-folder is added to an existing folder. It would be helpful if this could be set and be automatic as opposed to requiring a person to tell me. It seems a basic idea for BOX and was surprised it did not exist. Am requesting per this page.

16. Improvement plans about privacy settings of folders

    Are there any improvement plans below?

    BoxNote is not available when a folder is set privacy - "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" - active.

    OfficeOnline is not available when you set folder privacy - "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" - active.

    I often want to refer to Boxnote and MS Office documents for the purpose of reference much data and information with our business partners.

17. Box UI Content Explorer and Content Picker: Support Download ZIP Natively through top-level Element options

    Box's REST API now supports ZIP downloads via the external API in addition to the internal managed web app. It has been a common ask to provide native support for this endpoint in the Box UI Elements - Content Explorer & Content Picker UI Elements through exposing the feature as a top-level option/property when rendering the UI Elements.

18. Governance, Retention policy for folders with no content

    hen a retention policy removes files, it's possible to end up in a situation where there is a very long list of folders without any files. It would be helpful if there was a way to remove these folders quickly.

    Need ability to determine what folders have been shared in Box Drive without having to revert back to the Web UI to verify if Blue/Yellow/Grey etc..
