Edit PDF's natively in iOS app and Save as Flattened PDF
We currently use onedrive only to edit PDF's via our ipad using the apple pencil. It would be great if we didn't have to do this in onedrive and could just use Box. Especially as Box is our cloud drive.
One step better than onedrive's features would be that after editing the PDF with the apple pencil, then have the ability to save the pdf as a flattened PDF file. This is a great feature for signing documents and would improve workflow greatly.

Automatic Sign-Out after period of inactivity, to predetermined time after login.
I would like to be able to set a time frame that forces user to have to sign back in after a certain amount of time. This would preferably be after a certain time of inactivity, but being able to force someone to enter their login credentials after a set time would also work.

New functions in Folder settings
-To add some new functions in the folder settings, so that collaborators will be deleted automatically when moving folders to another folder.
-To add some new functions to the folder settings so that users will be able to change roles like the Privacy settings. We want to control collaboration using roles on the the upper folders. However, in this case, folders which are not intended, can be created in subdivided folders. If any files were moved to subdivided folders accidentally, the file can be visible from users who are not intended to.1 vote -

Disable shared link expiration notifications
This unstoppable auto-notification [for shared link expiration], specifically, is the worst. While we are a fairly small firm, we use Box pretty extensively and we use shared links pretty extensively. All of our shared links automatically expire. As a result, my inbox is continuously inundated with this notification (we’re talking nearly 100, each day). I don’t have the time to look at each and review them. I don’t know if anyone could ever actually have the time to review them and make any kind of meaningful decision or conclusion based on, what is effectively, spam. With no way to stop these alerts from continuously flooding my inbox from the Box side, I’ve had to resort to putting up an inbox rule to divert them and trash them (in other words, I’ve been forced to spam filter Box’s auto-notifications). Basically, this notification is just “security theater.” You’re able to check off a box (no pun intended) to say that “we provide our users with notifications,” but these notifications do absolutely nothing to improve security. If anything, it’s made it worse because if you ever decide to send me anything useful via an auto-notification, I’ll never see it through all the spam.

Please include the Box Sync app to use Windows 10's Metered connection setting. Disabling box sync on metered connection (Cell Hot Spots)
Give the user the option to enable or disable syncing on a metered connection. A lot of the time I want to sync while at home or the office. But I dont need to download 500mb of co-worker changes while I just needed to check my email.

Consolidate and replace
Edge case failure! :
1) Upload testXMovie.mp4
2) Upload testYMovie.mp4
3) UPDATE testYMovie.mp4 by uploading testXMovie.mp4 againUpload fails without solution or description.
Better: "The file you are uploading TestXmovie.mp4 already exists in this folder. Would you like to replace both files with this one? (or cancel)"

Trial
You could not block the interface with your checklist. I can't use the interface because the checklist is in the way.
Make it dismissable. Maybe pop it up if you log in, but don't have it covering part of the interface and allow it to be dismissed.1 vote -
Box Drive activity should show up in the recents section of the webapp
Would be great if the recents section showed in the web app showed all content recently used and not just content in accessed in the web app. When I am using Box Drive the webapp recents section does not pick up that content.

I would like to automatically set some options when creating a Box user. This is more about options in the Account settings.
We are currently provisioning automatically BOX users via our IDP and SAML assertion. When a user is added to an Active Directory group, his BOX account is automatically created.
I would like to automatically set some options when creating a BOX user. This is more about options in the Account settings. For example : country, number of lines displayed by page, default homepage…
Having particular attributes or API calls to manage these issues would fulfill the need.

Cleanup and Enhance the file/folder webhook events to cover all the happy paths (new file, new file version, restore previous version)
As a Box Application Developer I want to be able to receive a unique, webhook events for the following scenarios:
- User uploads new file (brand new binary object placed into a Box Folder) - Folder based event (exists: FILE.UPLOADED)
- User uploads a new file version - File AND Folder based event (e.g. FILE_NEW.VERSION)
- User restores a previous file version - File AND Folder based event (e.g. FILE_RESTORE.VERSION)
As the owner of an enterprise application that has deep integration in the BOX platform, it is surprising that I have no way to use the Webhooks to monitor files for new versions and restoring of previous version while only having new file versions tied to the folder.
The existing event of File.Upload is not connected to the file event, which is an issue. In addition it covers more than one event, a new file in the folder and a new file version to a file in that folder.
t is not a good practice to have different application actions covered by the same event as it adds complexity to application developers when trying to build unique actions / functions based on the discrete events.
By having separate file events this would allow a better programmatic experience.

Report of folders with no content
Need a report that shows all folders with no content inside. Also need to see the date last modified, and the users associated. Reason being, we need to clean up and archive appropriately for long term scalability. This is specifically related to the salesforce integration.

Limit which applications can be used for non-trusted pc's
I'd like the ability to limit which applications can be used to open files for non-trusted pc's (and mac's). I'd like to limit non-domain pc's to open files using Office online applications, but not using Office clients installed on the PC directly. The goal is to remove the ability for non-domain pc's to continue editing files, but not have them stored locally in any way.

As a Box user I want to be able to specify the starting page for a file using the Box Embed Widget so that I do not have to create multiple
Background:
Whenever I have a multi-page document that I wish to embed on a Wiki or Web page I have to create multiple, physical copies of that file (and keep them in sync) when I want a specific page to be shown on the widget.
Business Impact:
Reduced issues and time wasted with having to maintain multiple physical documents that have to be created in order to show specific pages on wiki's and web sites.
