removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app
Hey there,
I’d like to request the removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app for Mac. When I delete a file, the system prompts me to confirm the action, which I find unnecessary and disruptive to my workflow. Since deleting a file requires deliberate actions—right-clicking and selecting delete—the additional confirmation step is redundant.
In my line of work, I frequently delete files, and this extra step adds unnecessary friction to my process. If a file is deleted by mistake, it can easily be restored from the Trash folder, making the confirmation prompt an unnecessary inconvenience.
I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be reconsidered or if an option to disable it could be provided.

Shared Link Expiration (Exception) Settings at Folder Level
I need to be able to control the shared link expiration rules at the folder level, especially when they are an exception from the enterprise-wise rule. We have a handful of use cases that fall outside of the top-line structure, and updating links 1-by-1 is added workflow time on the team. Changing for all assets under a folder would save time and impact when links expired by accident or stay live beyond desired timeline.

How can I specify a file type to ignore or block
I found a thread on the forum (URL copied below) which was asking exactly what I am looking for. However, it is 4 years old and this page also has many ideas suggested but they haven't been addressed. Thus, I am not sure if my idea will be addressed but I will mention it anyway.

Search Filter UI
Some people say that when they try to use the search filter, the screen goes dark and the filter moves to the right, which makes the UI look like an error.
They want the filter screen to be displayed in a place where the user can easily find it.1 vote -
I want to be able to edit PDFs on the BOX.
I would like to be able to edit PDF files on BOX (for example, rearranging pages within a file or editing text).
It seems that there is a service on DropBOX that allows you to do the same thing, but it does not exist on BOX, so it would be great if you could make it possible to edit PDFs on BOX to improve convenience.4 votes -
Adding an "Are you sure?" message when scrolling to a new page in Mark Up mode on a Mobile Device
When enabling Mark-Ups/Comments on a Mobile Device:
Whilst annotating on Page #1, the Web App let's you scroll to Page #2 and beyond BUT doesn't give you a warning that your annotations and comments on the previous pages will be deleted (unless you have clicked Save/Post). A message to make users aware of this, before scrolling to the next page, would be extremely helpful OR allowing for multipage mark-ups7 votes -

Add string filters to file actions in Box Relay
A Box Relay example: every day at 03:00am i want to delete all files in a folder and it's subfolders which contain a specific string in their filename. I can't do this right now because i have to select a specific file and cannot apply string search or wildcards as file name (e.g. filename contains "xxxy"). Can you please check if this functionality can be applied. Many thanks.

Improvement of shuttle report filter condition
Hi
At present, I can's select both "Greater than or equal" and "Less than or equal" at the same time on the "Shuttle Job Report filter".
I want to set like below
Greater than or equal 100 MB and Less than or equal 200MB.*The back ground of this idea is below
When I ran the report, if the volume is large job wasn't completed, so I want to limit the result and the condition at the present is not enough to do it.

Support for the vtt mime type
Would it be possible to support the vtt mime type? This is necessary in order to be able to add "tracks" (i.e. subtitles/captions) to videos.
WebVTT files have a MIME type of text/vtt

BoxDriveI am aware that there are solutions for file conflicts like the one below, but there are some cases where the above cannot be resolved. (e.g., under a folder with "Hide" enabled).

Lengthen Limit of Characters Shown when Collaborating with Groups
Box currently truncates group names that are longer than 50 characters when collaborating on a file/folder. Unfortunately, when there are several groups that begin with the same 50 characters, it is difficult to determine which group is which (The only way is in the fly-over it will show the full name).
The limit for Active Directory is 63 characters. Box should at least show this number of characters on group names when sharing.

Use Box Hubs and BoxAI to let me find previously crafted responses to similar questions
I want to be able to put a series of documents (dozens or even a hundred of PowerPoints and Excel files) into a Hub and then ask Box AI to find where I've answered a previous question before, identify the file in which it found it and even tell me the location if possible, such as a slide number.
I had hoped Box AI and Box Hubs already worked this way, but after some failures I worked with Box Support who confirmed that it does not work that way, at least not yet.

I want the API to query Box Hubs for AI queries
I want to use the Box AI API to query hubs. Querying a limited set of files and passing to the AI engine is insufficient. I want to leverage the vector database of Hubs to answer questions about a collection of documents.
My other alternative is to build this out myself. I don't want to do this. I want to leverage the power of the Box AI API. Instead of files I want to be able to pick the hub and ask the question for AI to answer for me.

Prohibits operation of files and folders that have not been synchronized with the Box server（Boxサーバと同期が完了していないファイル・フォルダの操作禁止）
When operating a file or folder that has not been synchronized with the Box server, the update contents may not be reflected on the Box server and may be lost. To prevent this, we would like to have an optional function that prohibits users from operating a file or folder until it has been successfully reflected to the Box server.

SSO "Part of Company" landing page customization
If SSO is enabled, users (both managed and external) can be prompted with a page asking if they are part of our organization. When you select continue, it take you to the SSO page, which Not a part of Company takes you to login with you Box credentials.
This language is confusing for our external collaborators, as they often think they are part of our organization.
We would like the ability to customize or alter the language on this page to make it clear that the Continue button is for employees only.

Open read-only in BoxDrive
Users with viewer privileges are not allowed to update files, but in the case of files that are updated simply by opening them, such as .xls files, an error will occur each time the file is opened in BoxDrive.

I keep getting an error message "Unable to open folder" but it's not for any folders that I am trying to access. It doesn't happen all the time but at random times and on random days?
