Box handling Bulk Document
Currently, when you upload a 500-page document there is an error and when fully signed the document misses signatures

Show file paths on "Error updating *** items..."
If BoxDrive has some errors, it shows error on "Error updating *** items..." by clicking the gear icon.
Then the error window says, "The original file was deleted on Box" on my environment.
But it doesn't show the paths, but also filenames.
So it would be very helpful if you could improve it to show the filenames and its path.Environment:

Box Wiki Feature
I want to be able to create a universal wiki that I can embed Sonar (for Salesforce) data dictionary views into, embed LucidChart and LucidSpark documents, and create general dictionaries, protocols, procedures and knowledge for the organization, department, and teams. I would like to be able to control access levels or wiki articles and article groups.

Request to improve the behavior of files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set on Box Drive
In Shield > Access Policy, we are creating a classification label for the policy that has "Restrict downloading and printing" set as the security control.
Depending on when you set this label classification, Box Drive may not have the limitations you expect.
I would like to see an improvement so that files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set cannot be opened or copied in Box Drive from the moment the settings are set.The specific steps and events are as follows.
1. Open the file before setting the classification label in Box Drive.
2. Edit, save and close the file.
3. Set a classification label for the file.
4. Open the file in Box Drive.
5. Although I have applied "download and print restrictions," I can open and save files on Box Drive. You can also copy to a local drive.Shield > アクセスポリシー で、セキュリティコントロールに「ダウンロードと印刷の制限」を設定したポリシーの分類ラベルを作成しています。

Request for the ability to zoom in and out and preview clearly after displaying TIF.
When viewing a TIF file in a browser, it is clear, but in a mobile app, the TIF file is not clear
When viewing a TIF file in a mobile app, it is difficult to view it via the mobile app because there is no zoom in/out function, so it is pinch-enlarged and not clear even when zoomed in, so it must be downloaded to a local library for viewing.4 votes -
Allow Admins to Monitor for Sync Errors
Currently if there are any sync errors in Box Drive the only way to identify them is for the user to notice the toast notification or click on the Box Drive systray icon. Relying on the end user to report errors is not reliable and almost caused us to lose data going back several years.
The only way errors are logged is in the Box Drive log files but no one from Box or Box Support is willing to share how those are logged for admins to monitor.
Box Drive needs to better log any errors encountered so admins can be proactive and address any issues before critical data is lost. Several options would be logging the event back to the admin console, creating a specific log file just for errors, logging an event to the system logs.

Smart Card support for MFA
Provide support for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Smart Cards to be used for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This is a desirable feature for DoD personnel who utilize Common Access Cards (CACs).

Show full file names within iOS app
The current iOS mobile app by design only shows the first 10-12 characters of file names in portrait mode. It is not much better in landscape mode. This makes the app very hard to work with if you have many files which have the same first 20-50 characters. It should be possible to view the full file names in the iOS app.

About scaling operations using the mouse wheel
When displaying the preview screen in a web browser, using the mouse wheel will scale the entire screen along with the thumbnails and sidebar, but I would like to be able to scale only the content part.

I have some files sorted into collections. It would be great if I could select all the files and tag them.
Currently you have to tag each file in a collection individually. If you select all the tag option disappears.

We would like to be able to search service account in the User and Group, Admin Console.

Audio/Video Playlists
Add Audio/Video Playlists so that clients can more quickly review a folder or "album" of media content without having to click on a single file at a time while it loads in a new window in order to hear or watch it. Then having to arrow back to the original list to repeat the process for the full album. It would work much like you see an iTunes or Spotify album. You can click a "play" icon for one track and it plays while still seeing the other available tracks. Click the play button again to stop playback and chose another file, all in the same window.

Hackathon is coming up.. steal my idea and please build it!!! Automatically name my files based on the content or metadata in the file
There's a tiny company already doing this... but they're not running on our infrastructure, don't have access to the customer's we do....See: https://riffo.ai/
Anyone who works in legal, operations, or has a type A level need for consistent naming conventions to be applied across folders will love this.

Add functionality to view all folders set to "Make available offline"
I would love to be able to see which folders are currently set to "make available offline". I need free up space regularly.
Or a feature to see how much space box is taking up on my machine and what folders are using the space. Similar to storage on a Mac.

Ability to turn off listing of files in collaboration invitation emails (for HIPAA)
Currently, if you share a folder with someone, they get an email that lists up to the first ten items in that folder. If the file names have Patient Health Information in them (e.g. if they contain the name of the patient) then this could result in PHI inadvertently being sent via email, in violation of HIPAA security policies. If we could turn this off in our Box instance, so that invited collaborators get an email but not a listing of contents, then there would be no unintended sending of PHI via email.

Version history control per file basis
We would like for Owners and Co-owners of a file to have control over limiting the number of versions that can be created on an individual file. Currently, this is an enterprise wide setting and users do not have the option to override the number of versions. Users are requesting this control because the versions count against their individual storage quota.

user.authentication.verify
I would like to be able to catch the user.authentication.verify event with Event Hooks.
This is because the above allows applications such as Bookmark apps that do not generate user.authentication.sso to capture successful authentication, and it is possible to execute workflows based on them.1 vote
