Support frame-by-frame video preview
I am shocked that Box doesn’t allow frame by frame movement through web viewing. This is something that should be addressed as a priority. I won’t be subscribing to Box until this is an available function. This is so necessary in the television industry without downloading.

When a reset password link is requested, check your internal block list and remove the email address if necessary.
Often we deal with users email addresses getting placed on Box's internal block list. Then a user might request a new password, but the email will never come in. In that scenario, if a user has requested a password reset email, you should check your block list for that user's email address and remove it if necessary.

Make DocuSign Required Envelope Fields show in the Box Integration
We currently have fields that are required on every envelope for our DocuSign account (Envelope Custom Fields). These fields are not available to enter data (in our case, it is a pull down list) in the Box Integration. Therefore, envelopes created through the Box integration do not have these fields.
We can get the fields on the envelope via applying a template that includes the fields. However, we would like to see the fields without using a template.6 votesHello, please reach out to the Docusign team with this feedback, as they own and maintain this integration.

Import data already on Box into DICOM viewer
The only way to import images into the DICOM viewer right now is to upload directly using the import tool. This is problematic for two reasons: 1. large sets of data are handled better through Drive or Sync than a web interface and 2. data already in Box need to be downloaded and then imported (uploaded) again using the import tool, which is not practical when working with 10s-100s of GB of DICOM data. There should be a mechanism to import data already stored on Box into the DICOM viewer.

Prevent moving sub-folders
Create a folder permission setting where collaborators can edit a file but not move the sub-folder where the file resides.
Another way of saying this:
Would like a folder setting which does not allow sub-folders to be moved but allows editing of files.9 votes -
Add ability to batch rename multiple files
I'd like to be able to select all contents of a folder (ex. images taken by a particular photographer at an event) and standardize all file names (ex. EventPhotographer Name (1), EventPhotographer Name (2),...)
This is simple to do in Windows Explorer, but I really do not want to download and then re-upload for something so minor!4 votes -

where and how to mention the file download location in users hard disc? Please hardcode the user preferred location.
while downloading a file . why cant you provide the full code. Incase of download, the code should be in such a way that after copy pasting your samples i should be able to see the file downloaded in the location i mentioned.

My company Box users are having a hard time organizing files/folders shared with them. It means, if there are 100 files/folders shared with an user, all the shared files/folders show in the user's Box account. Which interferes with the user's personal files/folders which the user would like to access more frequently without having to browse through a list of shared files/folders. That being said, it would be nice to be able to move the shared content into a shared folder or being able to organize the folders based on our own convinience.

Update folder metadata
I am not able to get complete documentation on Updating folder metadata action for the Box API. Based on the examples I see online, there seems to be body parameter information missing from the box.dev site, and the documentation on the developer.box.com API Reference site is mostly blank.

Shared Links Only Accessible in "Trusted" Locations
I would kindly like to request that BOX add a feature where we can restrict shared links by the location they are accessed from. For example, if we share a link we want to be able to restrict access to only people in the USA. This feature will add an additional layer of security and help keep collaboration more compliant. Please add.

Use file size limits of Box Enterprise account when free users edit/upload to enterprise folders
Ability for free/lite users who are external collaborators in a folder to edit/upload content into a managed folder, even if the file size is above the free/lite limit. For example: Company A has an enterprise Box license and Company B does not, but uses free/lite accounts to collaborate in folders with Company A. When Company B needs to collaborate/edit large files in Company A’s folder, they can only do so if the size of the file is below the free/lite account limit. For large files, they have to download the file, edit it on their desktop, then email back to…

ITAR Support for Box Notes
Currently, if we need to be ITAR compliant, we are unable to utilize Box Notes. I realize this would require a backend modification, but it would be great if we could utilize Box Notes and remain ITAR/EAR Compliant.

Add "SSO Discovery Service Page" as a standard feature in Box login flow
We have 5 ID Providers. Box proposed "SSO Discovery Service" to connect 5-IdPs and a Box tenant. But "Discovery Service" needs to build a public web site. We cannot build that site because of their security policy. Please prepare discovery page as a standard feature in Box login flow.

Improve Box notes sharing and Home page
Box @ IBM is easily my most used and least liked product at work. The link sharing is a horrible experience. Everyone in the company disses Box's link protection. Enabling Link Expiration by default on the shared links is the worst idea and the product manager that approved this feature should dogfood features before subjecting customers to its horrid UX. I can't easily drag drop files like in Google Drive, the home page I land is useful in 0.01% of the cases. Usually I easily spend upwards of 5 minutes just looking for files.
