Owner off documents/folder can set it to be edited with online apps only
Allow anyone who creates a folder or document (not just the company/enterprise) to set if a document can be downloaded, or if it is editable only in the online version (ie: Microsoft office online). Being able to download, edit, and save causes a lot of problems with different versions coming into existence! We have box drive, box edit, box for outlook, etc enabled, and it's causing problems for multi-user documents.

File Request should be back to the original page after uploading
When multiple files are uploaded one by one (e.g. with different metadata), users need to visit the url every time upload completes. It would be time-saving if it goes back to the original page after completion of upload

Extend Developer Token for Apps that Integrate with Box.com, the Current Toke has a Limit 2 Months
Please add a new feature that allows us to change the expiration date of the Developer Token for apps that integrate with Box.com.
We are currently using Splunk to collect logs from Box.com, but the token expires every 60 days, which is a ridicules short amount of time, and there is no option to extent it to a 365 days or 6 months, if we like.

Grid View - Sorting After Searching
When searching through our folders we will always use Grid View for the sake of seeing the preview images to determine which file we are looking for. However, after numerous discussions with the Box Support team, I was told this wasn't a bug, but how the feature is intended, which is absolutely shocking to me. Why does List View searching work fine, but Grid View does not?

Rollup secret for OAuth2 with client credentials.
Please provide a way to update client_secret without any custom app service impact.
With the current interface, issuing a new secret invalidates the previous one.
Periodic updating of secret is a security best practice, but this is not possible with client credentials.1 vote -
Message template aligned with Sign template
Ability to have message templates aligned with the Sign templates. Modifications to send messages are done per message, even if template is set-up.

Display in Sign interface reason why for declined signature requests
When a document is declined, the reason why it was declined is only available in one e-mail.
It should be available on the document as well as in the web interface. I could put a comment on the document (why I wanted to reject it), and in the Reject field, but only the reason in the reject field was kept and only available in the e-mail that was received. After that, in Box SIgn, you see that the document was declined, but you d'ont know why. That is a huge limitation.8 votes -
External collaboration Allow list per group
We would like to limit the external collaboration to allowed domains for a specific group not the entire tenant.
This is useful when the subsidiary company, especially a financial company, can have a limited external collaboration for security reason.107 votes -
Rewind a folder
Dropbox had an incredibly useful feature called "rewind", where you could rewind the entire contents of a particular folder back to a certain point in time. This has saved our company on numerous occasions. Box should look into adding this feature since there isn't a way to preview different versions of a folder (only a file). Could save customers from huge headaches of losing files within a folder.

Admin-level alert notification on certain Box Drive permission errors
Users can create folders in Box Drive at the root level. In a closed folder taxonomy, the folder does not sync and fails with permission and/or problem item errors. If a user does not address the notification (or notifications are disabled), users can continue to create content in the unsynced folders. Icon overlays are also not reliable, so this will not be discovered until the content is lost due to hardware failure or software/OS reload. Consider alerting admins of these issues via the event stream or Shield-type alerts to prevent data loss, or disabling the creation of folders this way.

Improve performance of co-authoring in Box Drive
It takes 5 minutes or more for Box Drive to show co-authored changes. Even if that change is done by just one person. Basically , if a change is made by someone on a file and he closes the file, the file is not updated for about 5 minutes. When attached right away to a email, the attachment will still have the previous version.
These may be reflected in documents once opened, however, cannot be seen in the Box Drive window. The 'last updated' date and time does not reflect when a document has co-authored saved changes.

When importing documents they should keep the date of the document, NOT the date they were uploaded.
When all my documents and files were imported into Box back in the beginning, they all got the same date. That has been horrible to work with. Many documents have similar names but I could always look at the date and know that the more recent one was probably the one I was looking for. But now, I have to look through each document to see if it is the one I want.
Of course, once I have worked on it, it now has today's date and I can tell my newer documents. But now, even after being on Box…

Box Sign - Fields are tall and wide and need to be resized.
It's time consuming to have to resize the Signature field and Date field. The initial field is too tall for most signature spots and the Date fields are too wide. After a person signs, the signature box covers other words if not resized before. Could the default size of the fields be adjusted?

Ability to share signing link via text message and other apps
Make it possible to send documents to be signed via text messages and other apps, such as WhatsApp, etc. Many of our clients don't have email addresses.

block an upload by external user using Box Drive with smart access
The current Shield feature only controls downloading, cannot blocks uploading/syncing and is not ransom-proof. The biggest problem is that when external users use BoxDrive and BoxSync, ransomware-infected files are uploaded/synchronized on Box.

Automated File renaming (at scale) - Programmatic creation of workflows
When a file is moved to any folder called “#Archive”, the file should be renamed with a prefix of “OLD_”
For example: I have a file called “mywordfile.docx” I now want to archive this file, so I drag it into a folder call “#Archive”. Box Automation should then rename my file to “OLD_mywordfille.docx”
Problem statement

Ability to select users outside the tenant in the user filter of the user activity report.
Currently, when retrieving activities of non-tenant users, it is necessary to output all without filtering and then select the target data in Grep.
Our tenants have a large number of users, and if all the data were to be output, it would be a huge amount of data, and the above process would take a lot of time.
