   When sending an approval task in Relay to a user that does not have folder permissions, Relay would invite that user as collaborator, but if a task is sent to a group, automatic invite does not work. 2. Ability to save alphabetical sorting

   Does anyone know if there a a way to save my "Files and Folders" sorting preference? I want to retain sort by "Name, ascending" as the default, but cannot find anywhere to save it, so every time I navigate away from a folder and return to it, I have to re-sort by name again. The default seems to be "Updated, descending."

4. I want to create custom report for approval pending and files which was rejected on particular folders

   We are working on multiple approvals on files, so want to track how many files waiting for approval or rejection and how many files got approval by whom and when it will help us to manage the monthly report.

5. Comment Reply Thread and integration with Office Comments

   I have recently had to stop people from using the Box comment feature, as it was adding unnecessary tasks to my workflow, because it does not allow the author to respond to comments, and when i open a word document to edit, the comments disappear. Commenting feature needs to integrate with Office in order to be useful for reviewing MS office documents. As the author i 'must' be able to respond, and close comments, AND when i open the document for edit, i MUST be able to see the comments. The MS Office comment feature is fantastic and if Box is going to have one natively it needs to integrate with that, or be switched off for MS office documents.

   During remote work meetings, we use Boxnote to input multiple people at the same time to communicate with team members, including deaf people. However, due to the version upgrade after autumn, the following inconveniences were seen.

   ・ The account icon does not appear where the cursor is, and the character input is complicated and it is difficult to know where each person is.

   ・ Since many cursors have the same color coding, it is difficult to grasp which cursor is who.

   ・ Multiple people input characters in the same position, and they often rewrite each other. Even if you try to be careful about the cursor position, you will often start writing from the same place.

   Therefore, I thought that there was no point in becoming a cursor. It may be aimed at entering so that the cursor position does not fog, but I think it is impossible because there is a time difference in the display.

7. Increase metadata field API limit from 3 fields to 5+ or more

   Currently, when searching for content using the API, you aren't able to receive results for more than 3 specified metadata fields in the query. If you search for content with fields A, B, C, D, you will only see results for A, B, C. This scale limitation impacts organizations that heavily rely on metadata for use cases at scale.

8. Enable Box Admin (Content) search results to populate full-width screen, and shown FULL path of content

   Having searched for a string " " in Box Admin/Content, the results for a folder do not show the FULL path of that folder, because the full path length is too long for the report width.

   I have been advised by Box Support that this is expected.

   I suggest that the report width should not be hard-wired (as is currently) to fit laptop-width. Instead, the folder path should wrap onto a new row, or if screen-size allows (eg external monitor), the full path is shown on the same row.

   It should also be possible for users to change the width of columns to suit user's requirements (avoiding having to hover over each Detail that is too long to view)

   Currently, when Box Admin/Content results are shown on an external monitor, there is a lot of white-space to the right that could be utilised

9. Box Pulse ideas - allow screenshots to be added BEFORE approval

   When someone takes the time to provide a Box Pulse idea, it is invariably done at the time that an issue occurs. However, by not allowing screenshots to be added (until after approval), the opportunity to receive valuable screenshots justifying the change/enhancement is often lost, as it may be difficult/impossibly to return to the same situation/location to take new screenshots later. 10. Folder path and Page numbers missing from Bin (Box Admin)

    Box Admins will regularly view Box accounts of a user, and the user's Bin. Without the Folder Path displayed (which should be SORTABLE and FILTER on), it is difficult to isolate content that was deleted from a specific location.

    Instead it is necessary to run a Box Report of a folder, which does include the folder path, then sort the Bin by Updated column, scroll through multiple pages to find content before restoring (hopefully) the correct one(s)

    The Bin should display the folder path for each row (where blank Details column is), and be able to SORT that column and filter on the content of that column

    In addition, unlike the user's Trash screen, there is no Page x of y displayed - preventing users from jumping to a particular page

    Box Admin users regularly run several reports in a day or week, and may not read the content until days after run, and is difficult to identify the purpose it was run for, and the parameters used.

    It would be helpful, and not difficult to do, for Box to save the parameters used when creating a report, and perhaps offer users a free-text field to store (at the time it is run) the reasons why it was being run

    The following details should be available to view, when a report is completed:
    - report type (eg Box Sign, Classification, Collaborations, Folders and files, User activity etc)
    - columns selected, users and groups selected, affected files and folders selected, action types selected

    It should be possible to store these for output with report, since there is an option to save these report filters for future use

    Box Admin / Content - Search: 1) should have filter option to choose search 'only by file or foldername' (ie exclude results where search string only in Updated by;

    2) Content - Search results have column headings that disappear when scrolling down - the column headings should be fixed to always display

    3) Content - Search results have column headings Name, number of collaborators, Updated By, Date and Size - users should be able to sort ALL or ANY of the columns by clicking/reclicking on the column heading

13. Relay based on folder name

    It would be helpful to be able to create a relay workflow based on the folder name so we can auto-copy/move a folder based on a specified folder name.
    eg: if a folder starts with 'ZZtest' move the entire folder into another parent folder.

14. User access provisioning

    Currently when provisioning folder access for users, the console looks messy with every item listed and 'none' shown next to the granted access - it would be more helpful to only show what they have access to and their level of access. Adding access to a new folder that exists could be done with a dropdown search box

16. Direct Download Option from Right-Click Context Menu

    Currently, when using the Box Drive on Mac Finder or Windows Explorer "right-click > Share > Copy shared link" only gives you the option for a share link that open to the web-browser preview page.

    This is obviously not the preferred method for sharing files to people who need to download assets quickly.

    Just give the option for "Copy shared link" and "Copy Direct Download link" in the context menu.

18. "Remember me" added to login

    The need to constantly log in multiple times throughout the day when using Box.com is just absolutely an awful experience. This is especially true with integrations. Every time I close a browser window and then click a link, I have to log in again. We use Box as a source for all of our content for an agency so the number of logins is high. And when we receive a link to a piece of content, we have to click "Go to my account" to log in again, which takes us to the homepage, forcing us to click the link again to get to the intended content. This is insane and not something I've ever experienced before on other sites. Coming from a ClickUp integration, it's the same, except that ClickUp uses its own browser so we're forced to start over each time we want to attach a file. Since we use randomly generated passwords, that requires going into the computer's password manager, finding the password and pasting it in.

    We need to have a way to prevent this constant repetition, such as a "Remember Me" or "Keep me Logged In" button or something that will bridge browser sessions both in Chrome/Safari and also on other browsers or integrations like ClickUp.

20. Leave the username on approval tasks intact even after account deletion

    It is hard to trace approval history on a file after the related users are deleted. This causes a lot of friction with customers. It would be better if all usernames would stay on approval tasks even after their respective accounts are deleted.
