Need All User Events stream API like admin_logs_streaming
Currently Box has an API for collecting individual user events, but there is no API for collecting administrative user events for an entire tenant at once.
This makes it difficult to develop an application that collects all tenant user events in one place and then links them to other services, such as internal system notifications or Box-slack DM.It would be a great improvement if there was an API to collect user events equivalent to adminlogsstreaming.

Ability to export "Direct Links" from box in reports
We have the ability to export "Shared links" but would like the ability to also export "Directly Links" as well.
We use box to host 6k plus folders and files. Inside those are some PNG files that , when direct links are on can open up directly to the PNG file instead of the traditional view with the box logo on the top left. This helps us post product in our website with a more professional full screen view that direct links provide.

Allow Administrators to View User Account Password
Allow Administrators to View User Account Password. I have a user at my company who does not wish to reset their password, and we are unable to view what the current password is set to. This appears to be a common issue that could have a simple solution.

Find the new place for getting a link to a file - Box Share
The pop-up menu in Explorer doesn't have "Box" anymore. Instead, there is a "Share" item on the menu, without indication that it relates to Box. How about renaming it to "Box Share"?

I would like shortcut files created on Box Drive to be reflected on Box Web as well.
I am aware that shortcut files (.lnk) created in Box Drive (on Explorer) are ignored as a file type and cannot be synchronized.
However, in my work, I use Box Drive a lot and sometimes create shortcuts, but I can't share them because they are not synced, and they are deleted when I log out of the system.
I feel this kind of specification is very inconvenient.

Box Drive(エクスプローラー上)で作成したショートカットファイル(.lnk)は、
無視されるファイルの種類として対象となっており同期が出来ないことは認識してます。
しかしながら業務上、Box Driveの利用が多くショートカットの作成することがありますが、
同期されないことで共有もできず、またログアウトしたことで削除されてしまう。
このような仕様だと大変不便に感じてます。

Download with Metadata
I would like the option to download a file with its metadata added as a cover page.
It wouldn't need to be formatted nicely, just anything that keeps the metadata easy to see once the file is downloaded.

Allow "date uploaded" / "date triggered" as metadata fields
Even though a file already has the date it was uploaded and modified attached to it, it would be useful to capture a date automatically like this in the same area where user-submitted metadata appears.
I would like a field in metadata templates and Relay similar to the date picker except that it only stamps the current date, so a file request could come in with metadata such as a user-entered email address and the date uploaded, without any chance of the user having picked a different date.

Allow BoxDrive search to be limited to files and folders names
The current BoxDrive search will search the contents of the file as well.
We would like to be able to narrow down the search target when searching, because sometimes it is enough to search only the file name or folder name.

Ability to display and move the BoxDrive search window anywhere
The BoxDrive search window will be displayed according to your taskbar display settings.
We would like to be able to display and move anywhere with mouse operation or setting.

User can download a image via "View only" link on mobile browser
User can download a image by pressing the image and selecting "Add Photo"/"Download Image" when opening the image via "View only" shared link on mobile devices's (iPhone or Android) web browser .
Even if user has "View only" permission, there is no way to prevent downloading a image file on mobile browser. We need a way to prevent downloading a image on mobile browser.1 vote -
Ability to search history
We use history as a way to find files that we have seen in the past.
However, the history does not have a search function, and only 50 files can be displayed per screen.
Moreover, it is very inconvenient to go back and check the history because you have to click the next page many times.

Allow bulk action on Shield malicious content alerts
Allow bulk action on BoxShield malicious content alerts. We have seen an extremely high rate of positives. Individually marking files as safe is not scalable, and need to be able to do bulk updates.

Metadata Templates for External Collaborators
There is no way for external collaborators to add metadata templates to folders and files. If templates are added for them, they can edit the templates, but they are unable to add the templates themselves.
Allowing external collaborators to add metadata templates on their own would be beneficial to enable collaboration that leverages metadata.
An example use case is photographers who use our Box environment to share image assets with us and would be the best people to classify the images.

Ability to change font size when "Sign Myself"
When signing as 'Sign Myself', it would be helpful to have the same font and font size functionality as available for 'Request Signature'.

Select box reports export folder
With the new scheduled report capability, it would be useful to determine the folder where scheduled report are exported as a way to grant access to a range of users. Whilst we can now select who are the viewers for a report, this is not ideal as people change roles, and therefore a location or a Box Group would be much more convenient ways to share scheduled reports

Ability to export file requests dashboard
With time, many file requests have been created. The file request dashboard is a welcome addition, however additional features would be needed so we can actually take actions:
- export all active file requests filtered by Box Group so that we can share that with champions for different departments to look into

Box Notes API / Integration with icalendar standard
Hello,
I'm one of the devs of DAVx⁵, the leading open source sync solution on Android. We're using open standards like WebDAV/CalDAV/CardDAV. People can access their files and sync calendars, contacts, tasks, notes and journals to their Android device.
We already can provide access to box.com files via WebDAV for users which is great. They can access their files from box.com on Android seamlessly.
But DAVx5 can also synchronize Tasks, Notes and Journals using CalDAV and the VJOURNAL and VTODO standards (jtx Board on Android is one app that is using VJOURNAL and VTODO for example).

Change Back Bullet/Numbering/Checkbox on Box Notes
I have tried reporting this as a bug, though I have been told it is an "expected behavior" - Users used to be able to change individual lines' bullet formatting - but now, if you change a line, it changes ALL LINES above and below to the selected formatting (bullet/numbering/checkbox). Even if you highlight a single line, all lines above and below get changed with it. Please change this back to how it was!

Allow for alerts or other actions on file downloads with sensitive content.
Under Governance and content security, allow policies to be created for file download that would alert or quarantine files on Download with sensitive information such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account/routing numbers, PII, CUI, Proprietary, Confidential, Classified, or Secret. You can create policies for these files that trigger on upload which seems backwards. I want sensitive content to be uploaded into Box rather than other locations. I don't want it to be removed from Box.

Box Drive - All files organization
Box Drive does not currently allow for organization of your All Files folder.
To reorganize or move folders on this screen, it actively moves the folders, which isn't always possible. Due to different staff members requiring access to only portions of each folder, we cannot bunch together certain folders that would otherwise belong together.
For the all files screen, Box should implement a way to label and organize folders for your own personal box, that does not affect where the files are located and how they are shared. There is a way to do this with the collections list on…
