Box Sign - Send documents to CC recipient prior to full execution of document
I would like for the individual(s) who are marked as Copy in the signature order to be able to receive the document prior to it being fully executed by every other person in the signing order.
We have clients where one person signs, but others want to receive the document simultaneously even though they're not signing, and if we use Approver for their role, 95% of the time they are unaware they have an action and the document never gets passed them in the signing order.

Add More Granular Control Over Group Management for Co-Admins
I have a use case where I have my Marketing Manager setup as a Co-Admin with permissions to edit metadata templates. We'd now like her to also be able to manage the groups that controls access to marketing's folders. The problem is, because she's a co-admin Box won't allow us to assign her as a group admin. The only way we can allow her to admin the groups is to also give her Manage Groups access as part of her co-admin role. "In the Box drive alert window, the Box Drive Settings gear icon doesn't
do anything useful. Please add an actual settings window with basic

file transfer status
One of our users recently asked the following:
"The Transfers pane in the Box drive alert window rarely shows any file
names, even when files are actively being transferred. Please change the
Transfers window so that it shows a rolling list of all transferring and
recently transferred files and a time remaining estimate. The list
should be rolling and not clear when the transfers are done. It should
always be possible to see the last 5-10 files that Box Drive has
transferred."I'm not sure if this is a reasonable request, but thought I'd share it here.

More detailed error handling with sync errors
We have a user who is on Box Drive that has had several sync errors come up on his Box Drive client over the last week, but when he clicks on the info icon next to the s"9 items with sync errors message" it just gives them a generic error message with no details about which files can't be synced or how long they haven't been synced. I don't know if there's an existing solution for this, but thought I'd mention it here.

Custom apps with restricted folder access
We want to create a custom app where access is restricted to certain folders only.
Downscoping is not the best solution.
JWT key pairs are at risk of leaking.

Disable expiration period change for public shared links only
Currently it is possible to set up automatic expiration period for public shared links in Admin Console, which is an important security feature. However, users can extend the expiration period in Shared Link Settings. It would be more secure to disable expiration period extension for public shared links by users, while allowing them to change expiration periods for other types of shared links (company or collaborators only)

Provide API Access for file upload to the 'file request' URL. The existing file upload API does not provide a method for anonymous uploads to a 'file request' link. Both the bearer token and folder id are not known and are not available within the URL.
a possible solution would be to implement an 'OPTIONS' call to the URL to return a throw-away bearer token and the folder id so that the existing file upload API calls can be used.3 votes -
Automatic update of Box tools from the company LAN via a proxy.
Box Tools automatic update fails in an environment where Internet communication is performed from the company LAN via a proxy.
Please change the BoxTools update "Box Edit Upgrade Service" to the specifications that read the ProxySetting of CurrentUser in the Local System and communicate.
With the current specifications, automatic updates are not possible.
Therefore, every time there is a version update, a manual update is performed, which takes a lot of man-hours.(OS used: Windows10)

Update Thumbnail of Video
The fact I can't update the thumbnails of my videos is incredibly frustrating. I typically upload videos of interviews and Box always picks some thumbnail image of me with my mouth wide open or some other ludicrous face. Imagine trying to send your boss or the head of your research team a video link and it has a stupid picture of yourself on it? It's humiliating. To retain Tasks even after "task-related user" is permanently deleted
Currently, if a user is deleted, all of his/her related tasks will be deleted after the user is permanently deleted. Although task activities like approval and completion are recored in the admin reporting, it is not user-friendly and is unintuitive.

Provide Report Export Using Keywords
When running reports on "Files and Folders", you should be able to filter based on keywords. For example, if you want to see all files and folders related to a specific software you implemented, etc.

Default Shared link should be settable at the Folder level for all new links
Request the ability to set the default shared link permissions at the folder level for all files/folders in that folder.
Eg. We have a clients folder that we want to be able to share with clients outside of our organization. Many of our designers use the box desktop application and pull shared links by right-clicking and pulling directly from the finder.
