Drag and drop operations between browsers
Microsoft Edge allows you to split the browser screen.
I have separate Box folders on both split screens.
It would be convenient to be able to copy and move files and folders from one screen to another by dragging and dropping them.1 vote -
Avoid signed document shared link expiration notifications on internal-only sign requests
Whenever a document sent via Box Sign is completed, all recipients receive an email containing a shared link to the document. This shared link expires 2 weeks later, generating a "this link is about to expire" for all of the same recipients. These notifications can be annoying, and moreover don't clearly state that it is a signed document link that is expiring (it is just a generic notification).

Applying folder exceptions/exclusions to Classification policies
Would like to apply folder exceptions/exclusions to Classification Policies. Currently, we can apply to a selected group of folders, but we have an organizational need to be able to apply a classification policy to all content and add a small selection of folders to exclude from that classification policy.

Additional info in Anomalous Download Shield e-mail notifications
It would be very helpful to see "Previous weekly download amount", "anomalous download amount" and the "delta" on Anomalous download e-mail notifications. We use these to identify notifications that require further investigation, but these are only available by clicking into the reports which make this kind of detection difficult to scale and manage.

Make the signature font bolder or darker
Change the font to bolder or darker for the signature options. Some are very light. In addition, remove the red ink option. Some financial institutions do not accept signatures in red ink.

Delete user capability
Remove the "Get started with Box.pdf" file that is automatically added to each user. This becomes a 1.8 mb content for the user. As users are offboarded, this is content that needs to be transferred to someone before their account can be deleted. The information contained in that PDF can be housed in the help, announcements or notifications.

Ability to provision user zone through IDP
Currently we have a number of different zones that we have for our users. When users come into the company we have to manually update those zones to ensure that data resides in their countries. We would like to provision this with our IDP so that when a user comes onboard, we can send the zone along with the task to create the user and remove the manual task. We currently add to groups and set a number of other things but zone is not one that is available.

Recommended Content Feature on Preview Page
Proposing the addition of a "Recommended Content" feature on the preview page, similar to the "customers also viewed" suggestions seen on eCommerce sites.
This feature would leverage analytics on how collaborators interact with files, identifying patterns to suggest relevant documents that others have viewed under similar contexts.

Ability to exclude service account from password reset requirements
The ability to exclude Box Service Accounts email from required password reset by our enterprise. Our service account integrates with Salesforce and it breaks our connection when Box triggers a password reset.

Request for addition of a function to change the display unit of the storage size of insights in the management console
Currently, the display units for the overall size and the detailed size are different, and I would like to convert the units depending on whether I want to see a rough view or see more details, but it would be a hassle to convert each.

Ability to enable/disable notifications
There are settings that automatically notify users when enabled, such as requiring 2-Step Login Verification.
Currently, it is not possible to disable notifications, but if notification emails are sent to users due to setting changes, it will cause confusion for users, so please allow the administrator to select whether to enable or disable notifications.ｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰ

Box Governance should be enabled for managed users
We have observed that for Relay, there is an option titled "Relay enabled for all managed users." However, we couldn't find a similar option for Box Governance [tried with a co-admin privileged account].
Moreover, we found that only for the co-admins, policies of using Box governance can be enabled.Our specific request is to have the functionality to enable Box Governance for all managed users (not only the admin/co-admins), allowing each user to utilize these features individually.

To be able to run a report on folders that a group has access to
Collaboration Report on Groups to list all access to users added/removed and folders. This will likely help Box admins to track user groups, users and associated folders all in one. Currently, you need to go to the group in order to view the members of the group and what folders are currently given to the group.

Box search filters - ability to select bookmarks
Without any filters (ie not selected Files or Folders), the Box Web Search results INCLUDE bookmarks matching the word/string selected in the search.
HOWEVER, if a user wishes to isolate only the bookmarks listed in the results, THEY CANNOT.
Bookmarks ARE a Box type I would argue, therefore the 'Type' filter should list 'Bookmarks' amongst the other types listed (to search for these only), as well as CONTINUING to display Bookmarks in results of 'Any type'
Whilst it is recognised that bookmarks may be to both FILES and FOLDERS (inside and outside of Box), this should not be preventing them…

Ready-Sign-Links Creating New User w/ SSO and auto roll-in enabled
We used Box Sign Ready Sign link to confirm completion of an HR course. The link triggered the signer to authorize through their SSO (Okta) and create a Box account because they have auto roll-in enabled. We only noticed this because of a huge spike in overages one week. The immediate fix is turning off auto roll-in but that's not good for obvious reasons. TL/DR: Using Ready Sign Links, with an SSO, with Auto Roll-In enabled, will cause cause a spike in overage.

Unable to download files from "Collections."
I would LOVE to be able to download the files from a "Collection." It's kinda weird that as powerful as Box is, this seemingly simple task is not available. I spent two days (off and on) assembling a "Collection" only to find that I need to go back and download each file (MS Word doc) individually. Food for thought. Thanks much.

Shortcut for file locking
When you open a file and click the "Lock file to prevent others from editing it" message can we have some simple click boxes showing the lock time options rather than a drop menu, this would solve the problem where the application opens before you get chance to lock the file..

Microsoft auto-save to Box for Mac users
For Mac users, it would be great if Box can be integrated as a storage location within Microsoft applications (eg. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). For Mac users, the auto-save slider in Microsoft Apps is disabled because the Box storage location is not specified. Please find a solution.

When loading PowerPoint or Word into Box Sign, the aspect ratio may be changed and converted to PDF.
