Rethink Box Notes as a Collaborative Tool
Many of the comments about Box Notes, and the shortcomings that make them seem only marginally useful to me, arise from them being treated/implemented as something totally "other", compared to other file types that one might load into Box.
Unlike other files, Box acts as if Notes all belong together rather than in the user's folder structure, and they have their own type of page or tab that is confusingly different from the standard Box interface, rather than simply opening up in an editing window if the user wants to make changes. An editing window would be much more intuitive, and would help users not lose track of where they started in the folder structure.
As for editing, Box Notes should have roughly the same capabilities as e-mail or a blog post. I've seen some snarky replies from Box staff about how Notes are not intended for creating flyers or complex page layouts -- what a ridiculous response to the formatting suggestions. Just provide the formatting capabilities that people might have expected from e-mail or a blog editor (or even a discussion forum) say, 5 years ago. That means table and cell shading, more than 3 or 4 sizes of fonts (and a monospaced "code" font as someone else suggested, more than 16 rather light and garish colors, and probably bullet and numbered lists. And maybe inclusion of an image, but even that would be a luxury.
Box will never be a real collaboration tool in the general sense, but if Box Notes can be Not-Confusing and can accommodate lists, a little more font-size control, and some color in tables for legibility or emphasis, then the Notes can be used more effectively for collaborative outlining, planning, status-tracking, etc.

Show full path for Box updates emails - new items were added to
Please show the full folder path for the Box Updates emails that alert users that "new items were added to."
There is no possible business case for showing only the tail end of the path/filename.
Users might have multiple parent folders with identical subfolder structures, in which case showing only the tail end of the path doesn't allow the user to know which parent folder the update applies to.3 votes -
Box file URL available when viewing through Salesforce
It would be great if we could grab the original Box URL for a file or folder from the integration within Salesforce. Since we share many documents internally, it is so much easier and faster to grab the direct link from Box, which creates several separate steps (and defeats the purpose of keeping our users in Salesforce). Being able to pull the Box URL directly from Salesforce would create additional efficiencies.

Include all services that triggered actions in User Activity Reports
For User Activity Reports, include all services that triggered actions, since some actions (Download, Undelete, and Trash) do not always include the service involved in the report.

Provide link to Box root or parent folder from within Notes view
While one can navigate to the parent folder when in preview/edit mode on a Box Note by clicking the ellipsis, it's not obvious to those that don’t know about it and can’t find it.
This lack of navigation is likely because of the reliance on using tabs to differentiate notes from the rest of Box. However, this has its shortcomings, as it relies on opening up notes from within Box. I have some bookmarks that go directly to a Box note, so I could never before find a way to get out of the notes view when opening notes this way without modifying the URL directly in the browser.

Need error log print or output option
My Box context menu says "Error updating 28 items." I look at the errors, figure out the problem, and want to send the file list to the person who is causing the problem. Oh wait, there's no way to do that. I can't capture the text displayed, I can't forward it, I can't do anything.
Please add a "print log" function or permit the user to somehow get info out of the display window. I need to send the details to another person.
Thank you.

macOS SDK support
It would be great to see full macOS support in the Box SDK.
I realize that the name of the Apple-flavored SDK is "box-ios-sdk", but "osx" is listed as one of the supported platforms. It compiles and links just fine, but the code path bails on OAuth sign in support.
It looks like most of the SDK would work fine for API calls post authentication, so I think it's mainly a matter of wiring up browser-based sign-in like Dropbox does for their SDK: https://github.com/dropbox/SwiftyDropbox. This seems to be confirmed by a response from @sujaygarlanka in a submitted GitHub issue: https://github.com/box/box-ios-sdk/issues/702 where it's suggested that I could use developer token auth. With that approach, I can only access my account, making it so that I could never build a Mac app for other Box users (making the SDK not particularly useful for most use cases on Mac).
Thanks for your consideration!

suggest to have a central location for the Trash Bin
Suggest to have a central location for the Trash Bin, so Box admin can review all the items have been deleted from all users, because currently Box admin can only see the trash items per each user in "content" tab, or have to generate the report for that. So it's not really convenient. Please put this as new feature request in your road map. Thanks.

more keystrokes = worse user experience
In the last month, when I create a new folder I've noticed I now have to tab into the field to name the folder. It didn't used to work this way. Previously, upon creating a new folder, the cursor would automatically be waiting for me to type in the folder name. This isn't the first time that Box has updated a feature to require more keystrokes. The same thing happened with the Share>Create Link feature sometime within the last year. It takes one or two more keystrokes to create an open sharable link now.
So this request is specific in the case of the New Folder feature (bring back previous cursor behavior), but it is also a general note to Box to please consider making your interface more efficient in terms of keystrokes required, not less.

Separate set of granular controls for Box for Mobile and Box for EMM in Mobile Tab of Enterprise Settings
Use case: Company uses MDM provider in tandem with MFA. Presently, the Mobile tab applies to all mobile applications. They need much stricter settings for MFA users than Mobile Iron users (e.g. only allow upload/view files)

Allow Box Drive Folders to be added to Windows Library
My company has a lot of folders on Box, but only a few are relevant to what I do. In order to facilitate quicker access to the folders I use I created a Windows Library (Windows 10) and attempted to add the Box Drive folders I use to the Windows Library. But my attempts to do this resulted in Windows displaying a message "This folder can't be included because it is on a removable device" even though the Box Folder is on my Computer's C Drive. This capability works fine with Box Sync, but not Box Drive. Please make it so Box Drive Folders can be included in Windows Libraries.

Visible folder tree (selected folders) and Request access to folders
We face challenges with permission management and ensuring relevant access to folders for staff outside of their Division/Department/Countries. One great solution would be to have the possibility to display part of a folder tree, and to be able to request access to some folders within that folder tree. In this way, a funding person from an affiliate HQ could request access to the EA or PA country’s funding folder to the country funding focal point. This could technically be managed with a very complex use of Box Groups, but it would be an extremely useful alternative solution.

limit deletions
My staff need the ability to upload & download various files, but I don't want them (or me!) to have the ability to delete large swathes of my database. I can't find a way to limit this, in Box
