Allow Excel Formulas to Link Directly to Files on Box
Currently, when you open Excel on Desktop, it creates a temporary file on your own computer. When trying to connect one report to another through formulas, this results in the formula looking for the report on your desktop instead of the location the report is saved on Box. In order for the formula to update properly, you need to have both reports open at the same time.

Child Sexual Abuse Material
Apple's recent announcement of measures taken to improve child safety (https://www.apple.com/child-safety/) have raised an important concern about content stored in Box and what measures we can take as an enterprise to address it. While there does not appear to be anything that we can do at this point, perhaps adding a feature in Shield that provides MD5 pattern matching (similar to known malware scanning) that would allow administrators to be alerted when this kind of material shows up in their Box instance.

Store all generated Box Reports into a Single Shared Folder for the Enterprise
Need a common folder in the enterprise to store reports generated by box by admins and various co-admins. This will reduce the load on the box platform as well as it will significantly reduce duplicate runs. I would like to add attachments (with shared links) in Outlook on the Web and make the attachment location at the top of the email body.
When you add an attachment (with a shared link) in Outlook on the Web, it is attached at the bottom of the thread if the text field is expanded.
However, it is difficult to see the attachment at the bottom of the thread, so please change the setting so that the attachment is added to the top of the email every time. (or add a feature).With the current specification, attachments are displayed at the bottom of the message, especially when the body of the message is long, so the recipient may not notice the attachment.

Include Folder Description in File/folder reports
Due t the large amount of files, folders and collaborators (internal and external) in our organization we heavily rely on folder/file reports to manage content and educate new users about the content layout. Being able to include the "Folder Description" in this report would be TREMNDOUSLY helpful. Is this something you could add in the very near future? Thank you.

Open file from UI Elements without approval
Ability to open a file from UI Elements Open With with Box Edit without being prompted to Approve/Deny to proceed.
Currently, every time a file is opened from UI Elements, Box Edit displays the prompt and asks the user to Approve/Deny before the user can start locally opening and editing the file. This adds friction to user experience, and we want the option to not display this prompt and auto-approve the file open from UI Elements

Sharing a Collection
I understand that collections are meant to be a user specific setting, however, it would be great to have the ability to share a collection with a co-worker.

Folder settings Notification mail
Currently, there are two ways to set up email notifications: from [Account Settings] and [Folder Settings].
The name "Folder Settings" may be misleading.
The reason for this is that the name [Folder Settings] seems to affect users who are invited to the folder as collaborators.
Therefore, please add a note to [Folder Settings] that the scope of the effect is only the user who made the setting, and that the effect is not reflected on users who are collaborating on the folder.

Enhance File/folder restoration process
File/folder restoration on Box is a slow and clumsy process. When my end users move/delete large folders by accident and try to restore them, it takes HOURS for it to restore and to my end users, it looks like nothing is happening until the process is complete. This large window of time where nothing seems to be happening further frustrates my end users and they make more changes during the restoration process further making a mess and I have to end up opening a ticket with support to clean up the mess. Support Free Form Handwriting in Box Notes
Box Notes needs fully embrace digital hand writing support, especially on mobile like with the Apple Pencil on the iPad. This is a fast growing form of taking notes now that many tables and phones support some sort of pen-based input. Allow variables for folder name creation
I need to create unique folder names as part of Folder Action outcome in Relay. This could be a simple as appending a date stamp or date/time stamp to the end of the predefined folder name, or use the file name that triggered the workflow as the folder name. Some options for creating discrete files names would be very helpful.

Hide user in autocomplete
Similar to how you can hide users from the GAL in Exchange, I would like the ability to hide certain accounts from the auto complete when adding as a collaborator. You would still be able to invite the user by entering in the full email address.

Access policies for individual folders
Would it be possible to set up access policies that can be applied per-folder instead of by Classification label?
We have Ethical Walls and security concerns where we need to prevent sharing of files of Client A with Client B and also with preventing individual users from being shared folders.
One way to do this would be classification policies - but I have far more clients than the twenty five label limit.
The way around this would be to allow access policies by folder, regardless of classification, as well as the Box-wide access policy for unclassified content.

UI display on box links to indicate utility of Box for ECI or CUI
I just noticed the ECI/CUI restrictions on shared Box folders. The fact that I was caught off guard about these restrictions, even though it is very clearly written at the time of requesting a Global Share folder, means I suspect many others LM employees are as well. I am concerned about the potential for misuse, especially the way Box was sold as DX for LM, etc. It seems like ANY shared Box link should have a large, bold banner that says NO ECI or CUI permitted.
Parenthetically, these restrictions make Box useless for all of my programs and projects.

Launch study.ambradicom files on double-click
BOX is retiring their DICOM solution at the end of the year, and replacing it with Ambra DICOM. Study files created by the old BOX solution are named "Study.boxdicom" and can be launchd into the BOX DICOM viewer by simply double-clicking on the filename. This is not true for the new Ambra "study,ambradicom" files. In order to view them, you have to clcik on the triple-ellipses. select "Integrations", and then "View DICOM".
I would like to have the ability to simply double-click on the new "study.ambradicom" filename and have it launch the Ambra viewer.

Ability to have Automatic sorting enabled post file rename
It would be nice to have Box simply update a name after the file has been renamed. As of right now, it's difficult to start on a folder renaming image files, closing out, then coming back in and all of the files have been automatically sorted alphabetically, which is a nightmare for images that have ascending or descending filenames. If we could just save changes as-is and have everything still in place when we log back in after closing out of the folder, that would be very useful so that one could simply pick back up where they left off.

Add .pxd file extensions to the approved list of files supported. This if for an illustration software called Pixelmator Pro.
