Importing data using Box Shuttle via an SFTP share link
We are provided access to data stored in external customers archives via FTP/SFTP credentials which we need to migrate into Box.
It would be great to be able to migrate this data directly into box using Box Shuttle.
Would it be possible to add SFTP as one of the pick options on the source system screen in Shuttle when creating a new Job where we could add in URL, Username, Password, Port, etc?

Adding Font Colors
Please add gray as a font color option in Box Hubs, similar to Box Notes.

AI query results resources
One enhancement requested by a customer is within the Box AI query window. The documents from which information is pulled be linked within the response alongside the relevant text and at the end of the response (image 1), rather than be listed only at the end of the response (image 2).

Copilot support in Office Online/Office desktop applications for files on Box
Currently, Copilot (Copilot in Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is not supported for Office files in Box.
The following must be supported for files in Box
(1) Copilot in Office Online
(2) Copilot in Office desktop applications (with or without co-authoring)

Add description field to defaul group view
I would like an more user friendly way to determine the identity of a synced group from Entra. I am wary of renaming them, as my guess is they are being matched with the Entra directory using the value in name field. I have no easy way of choosing a group to work on without opening them from the top until I see the added info in the description column. It would be nice to see that on the default list view.

Box Sign change Current Date timezone to PT upon conversion vs. UTC timezone for signatures
Hi,
we use macro fields (current date) in some of our word files.
If we want to have this signed, it can happen that the date in the document changes under box sign. The reason is that the conversion of the file happens on servers that use PT as a time zone (we have MEZ) .
The signatures themselves receive UTC as the time zone.
Can this be standardized and perhaps ideally adapted to the transmitter's box zone?1 vote -

Please remove the feature that hiding files/folders in Box Drive.
I work at Box's help desk. Since most users aren't fully proficient with Box, hiding files/folders causes confusion.

Please make it possible to choose both .msi and .exe installers for Box Drive.
The reason is that administrator privileges are required during uninstallation, and end users cannot reinstall Box Drive when issues occur.

We would like to customize and set the default values for digital watermarks.
Currently, in the admin console, you can only choose to enable or disable the digital watermark feature, and customization has to be done by users for each file or folder.
If we could set a predetermined digital watermark for the organization, it would be convenient as users wouldn't have to spend time on it, and administrators wouldn't need to check for compliance with the rules.

現在、管理コンソールでは電子すかしの機能を有効にするか無効にするかの選択のみで、電子すかしのカスタマイズ機能はファイルやフォルダごとにそれぞれユーザーが設定する必要があります。
組織として決まった電子すかしを設定できたら、ユーザーが手間をかけることなく、管理者もルールに準拠しているか確認する必要がないので便利です。

Move recent files back
The new UI hiding “Recent Files” is not so great. Having to hover over "Files" to see activity is clunky, please bring back a proper recent files view!

File Status now showing in Windows File Explorer
The problem shows up after installing the box app on my Windows pc. In my Windows file explorer, I cannot see the status of my files. I cannot know if the document is already available or needs to be downloaded first before use. And I cannot clear local downloaded file caches to release some space. How can I know the file status?

Make Banner Icon Editable within Box Hubs
There is a small square icon that appears in the banner at the top of Box Hubs, this is the same icon shown on the list view before entering the Hub itself. The customer would like to be able to edit this icon, and remove it. Visually, its redundant and takes up space, and they don't have a good image to input into that space, for each specific hub. They use the banner for this purpose.

Restricted export of content insight reports by non-administrative users.
There is a function to export Content Insights access statistics, but if you restrict content creation and prohibit the creation of first-level folders, you will not be able to export it.

However, anyone who owns a folder called "Box Reports" can export Content Insights Reports, even if they don't have admin permissions.<request>

Add Integration by App ID/Client ID for Shield Access Policy Integration Restriction
When creating a Security Rule for a Shield Access Policy, when setting an Integration Restriction, you can only add the integration by name, and not by client ID or app ID. We have many apps with similar names, so using the client ID or app ID would help us restrict the correct app.

Open Microsoft Office in embedded Office app by default
If I have, say, an Excel file in my Box account, I can right-click on it, choose Open with..., then choose Excel Online, and it'll open up in the embedded version of Excel. That's wonderful! However, since I almost always want to open my Excel files that way, I'd really like an option to have that happen automatically when I open the file without right-clicking on it. This would save me a bunch of clicks over time.

In the Enterprise settings for device protection, add the global IP address used during client connection to the device trust requirements.
I would like to add the global IP address that the client connects to as a target in the device trust requirements of the policies that can be set in the Enterprise settings for device protection. Currently, it is possible to apply for allowed IP addresses individually on a tenant basis, but it is not feasible to respond appropriately each time. By making it possible to set this as an item in this function, it will be possible to respond quickly and control the target in a limited manner, thereby improving operational management convenience and enhancing security. Improvement of search within the Hub
We would like to search for information within texts in the Hub, not only from files and folders in the Hub.
Currently, to enable information search within the Hub, we compile all information in Box Notes and add it to the Hub. However, this results in longer access times for users. We would like to improve the issue where supplementary texts written within pages are not searchable.1 vote -
