Rethink how customer feedback is handled for support tickets
I open A LOT of support tickets with Box as I'm the primary escalation point for support in my enterprise.
After every Box support ticket is solved and closed by the Box tech, I get an automated "how did we do" survey email.
I get that you guys want customer feedback but forcing it down customers' throats for EVERY ticket that is solved is not the right approach. They just become repetitive and get to the point of being annoying.

Working with Procurement in Box may get easier!
With the File Request function we are now able to request supplier to upload their proposal directly in Box without having to create accounts. But we need to make things more easier, if I have 50 suppliers, it´s very time consuming to click in each folder, generate the link, change the settings of each link to request at least "email".
So, here is the idea:
1. My account should have a Standard Settings for "File Request" settings that I should be able to choose.

Rename items and custom order in Collections
Collections are great! Now the possibility to customize the display order as well as to rename items without affecting the actual folder/file name would be great additions
10 votesThanks for the feedback. Currently, collections are sorted by 1) Favorites and 2) personal Collections in alphabetical order. We do not have plans currently to allow renaming items or sorting order.

Custom Subdomain on Upload API Endpoint
When a Box instance is setup to use a custom subdomain, the upload API endpoint should use the subdomain. For example, acme.upload.app.box.com instead of upload.app.box.com. This will make it easy to setup corporate firewall rules that prevent users from uploading content into personal Box accounts

Add more detailed information to Relay workflow tracking
When viewing the tracking for an individual document progressing through a workflow, the task completion status is not granular enough to tell if any or no assignees have completed a task. For example: if there were four people required to approve a step, and three had approved, but the last person hadn't, this level of detail is only visible from the activity pane on the document, not from the tracking in Relay.

Update the web app to support up to 1 TB of content, at least 10,000 folders
The Box Web App doesn't support large folder structures. I can successfully upload a folder with >100 GB of content (files are no larger than 4 GB each), and I can share the link. But the web interface only supports download of folders with up to 10 GB of content, even though Box supports files up to 32 GB! To download the folder, the user must use Box Drive or other client, which isn't an option for users without a Box account on the instance.

Large file preview support
A 360 degree video is taken and processed for upload to Box with the ".360" extension
The files could potentially be very large (up to or sometimes more than 5 GB)

Pop Up/Alert for duplicate folder name
Customer is interested in a pop up or alert when users enter a duplicate name for a folder. This could be specific alert to just admins but some sort of notification to prevent duplicative folder names.

Box Drive icon size
Would like for the Box Drive icons to be bigger again. On the latest version of Box Drive 2.16, they are smaller and that makes it harder for them to determine whether or not files are locked.

Specify where the preview starts.
We upload a video to the Box and previews be accessed through a shared link.
In this case, the preview starts at the beginning of the video (0 minutes and 0 seconds).We'd like to be able to specify where the preview starts (e.g., 5 minutes and 0 seconds).
We believe that being able to freely determine where to start the video preview will broaden the use of the video preview.
We hope this feature will be added as a new feature.

BOX Error when transferring files from Public to All other Folders
The error message when transferring files from Public to All Other Folders is a little misleading. I would argue here that the system is asking for more of a confirmation before proceeding as opposed to reporting an error. The fact that this says “error occurred” and shows up in red doesn’t do a good job of conveying that you can do this if you click the Details button … just a question of whether you know what you are doing or not.

Box Relay Lite email notification
The current behavior of "Box Relay Lite" is that workflow creator gets the approval notification.
The The expectations from us is that a notification email of the approval result will be sent to the approval requester who uploaded the file to the specified folder.

Device Pinning, "Last Check-In"
instead of "install time" for device pinning, the customer would like to see "Last check in".

Greater flexibility in titling files would be helpful - print options of bold, italics, use of "/"
It would be helpful to be able to use bold print and italics in titling files to make it easier for examiners to easily distinguish different types of files. The slash as a divider would also help.

Cannot Search from Box app "Favorites" of iOS (iPhone/iPad)
After updating the Box app on iOS (iPhone/iPad) to version 5.1.3, the search icon (magnifying glass) disappeared from the top right of the "Favorites" screen and search is disabled.
Requesting for the improvement of the function so that search function is enabled from "Favorites" screen just like in version 5.1.2 of Box application.

Please create a BoxCLI that can be used by general users.
Currently, the BoxCLI is only available to administrators.
We have received requests from non-administrative Box users to do their own work from the command line.
This is a very strong request.
