Shared Link vs Shared Folder Collaborator Options
I would like to grant Previewer collaborator option when creating a shared link on a file.
- When using the Shared Link for a file, only available collaborator options are Editor and Viewer.
- When using the Shared Link for a folder, available collaborator options: Uploader, Previewer, Viewer, Previewer Uploader, Viewer Uploader, Editor, Co-Owner.
When granting access at the folder level opens a security hole where later files can be viewed as well, when only one file needs to be shared.

I'd like to rearrange the order in which files (for example photos) appear in a folder.

[Fix] Poor support for moving drive and recognizing existing content
I had to disconnect a drive and Box sync broke and has been a massive pain to get working again. When the drive was reconnected, Box couldn't reuse the old folder, and once it started a new folder, I didn't appear to have the option to change it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Box sync so I could point it at the original directory it used with all the files still in place. It did not recognize any of the files. Instead, it renamed all the folders, downloaded duplicates of everything, and then ran out of space on my cloud storage…

Email to Box Change Disappointing
Box decided to remove email to folder options for less than business users, with supposed preservation of existing email to folder set ups. That didn't work. The existing email to folder broke, one of our critical business processes was subsequently broken.
1) I did not receive notice of this change
2) I can't even view what the existing email to folder email address is.
3) It's a poor move to remove a feature an existing customer has access to. Should have been grandfathered in.1 vote -
Ability to disable the download button on the root folder of my main shared folder
I am setting up a folder in my account as an external-facing folder of assets. This will be a public folder that anyone can access with the proper link. Currently, I'm in trial of Box and noticed that the "Download" button appears at the root folder of this shared asset folder. I want people to be able to download assets as they wish, but don't want the download button to be at the root folder. I can honestly see myself getting a lot of feedback from people who accidentally download several TB of assets, instead of the individual files they…

add dynamically a folder to a group
When a structure of folders is created as a template, it would be cool when this template is copied and if a at least one group is affected to automatically add this new folder to the group.
Now you have to go to the admin console to manually add it and it's wasted time and not very efficient. Maybe also get the possibility to do it through relay.1 vote -
Remove / Hide avatars when editing a box note
When editing a Box Note, there is an avatar with my initials that jumps around to wherever my cursor is. I find it very distracting and quite annoying. I can't think of any possible benefit to having this bouncing ball showing me that I'm editing the note. I kind of already know that. If others are editing the same note, it shows that, too. Maybe that's of some limited use, although I don't know what I'd do with that information, other than once again be distracted from what I'm trying to do. So anyway, it'd be great if there were…

I would like an option to increase the 5GB individual file size limit on non-business accounts.
Hi Box Team,
I run a small media production business (of one), and rely on box for sharing video files with clients. I do my best to keep files under the 5GB limit, but occasionally, I need to share longer/larger files. I've asked the sales team about a tiered plan under the personal account options that would allow for an increase on the limit, but at the moment, that option only exists for business and enterprise accounts. We need a way to administratively remove ALL instances of the per-user installs
We need a way to administratively remove ALL instances of the per-user installs, without resorting to the a VBS login script. In many cases, there are profiles on machines for users that no longer exist, they won’t ever log in to run the per-user removal script.

Folder Activation on a future date
Folder activation on Set future date.
We use Box.com to share fiiles/folders with our internal team and with some external partners, and there is a way to make folders delete on a specified date so the content is no longer available... however, it would be helpful to be able to build a folder that is hidden from site and then set a date on when it becomes active and can be viewed. NetSuite: Add Subsidiary to top level default folder structure
In NetSuite, current default folder structure does not allow segregation of subsidiary files which can be a financial and privacy controls issue.

Allow for an Admin to create protocols that will require users in Box Drive to have to login again after a predetermined amount of time.

Add sorting and filtering to "My Cases" on Community site
When I go to "My Cases" on the Box Community site to view open support cases, I have a table with headings ID - SUBJECT - CREATED - UPDATED - PRIORITY - STATUS
I would love the ability to sort the columns, but that is not an option.

Update removed the ability to view notifications on a single page. You have to scroll through them from the top tool bar. Please add back!

A-Z jump list on All Files just for folders
Just below the all files on the main web app screen an A-Z bar allowing the user to jump to folder that start with the letter clicked.

Updates for Task Management
Task management should:
-Show a total number of tasks outstanding
-Have the ability to categorize tasks
-Have the ability to prioritize tasks
-Include summary of time elapsed since task assignment
-Always allow the user to check the task off, reject the task, or delegate the task to another
-Task list should ALWAYS be searchable
-Task lists should have the ability to have filters applied (age of task, assigned by, prioritization level, category, etc.)
