  1. Add timer to automations before moving file

    Instead of moving files automatically, set it on a timer like 20 seconds, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc

  2. Disclose Box service host names via API

    Open up Box host names via API so that a customer's proxy server can automatically fetch our end points and digest it in to their solution.
    There is a partial list available on our community page but it is not complete and difficult to fetch programatically.

    Thank you once again for the feedback. We have evaluated the feedback but don’t think will have anything meaningful to share in the next couple of quarters.

  7. PDF Bookmark for Box Preview

    When a PDF files is viewed through a standard browser plugin, a hyperlink can be created to directly navigate to a specific bookmark, but this functionality is missing in the Box Preview.

    For instance, if a professor wants to make a textbook reference (to a specific chapter/page number), it would prevent confusion and save the end user from having to scroll through the pages.

  8. Add collaborated folders in files and folder report and the owner

  9. Inactive users are not listed when managing groups

    When in the Admin Console and viewing groups, if I go to edit the membership list of a group, the list does not appear to display inactive users, but if I search for a user in the group it will display the user. However, if viewing the members of a group through the normal interface, it will display all members, even inactive ones.

    This is potentially confusing as it means that the list of members a group admin would see will be different, and if they want to remove someone, they will not be able to just browse the list…

    Thank you for the feedback! IMO, we should not display inactive users in the groups as the group should keep a membership of all the active users. Thanks!

  11. Disable notification triggered by integration or specific collaborator

    We are using Druva to back-up the data. But Druva downloads all the data and triggers large amounts of email notifications. We want the ability to disable the notifications for actions triggered by the integration

  12. Identifiers in child folders that parent has a open shared link

    Currently if a folder is shared via an open shared link at the top level, users who have access at a child level have no way to tell if the content uploaded is shared externally.

  15. Show total folder and file count in-app in the Admin Console

    We need to understand how many folders and/or files we have so we can estimate scope or effort for applying new features like retention or KeySafe. There is currently no way for us to get this without a custom request from a Box CSM

  16. Watermark files from mobile app

    Currently, marking a file to be watermarked is only supported on the Box webapp. This is a request to be able to watermark files from the mobile app.
