Count SSO Authentication as login in User Report
SSO Authentication is not counted as "Login" in User Statistics report. SSO Authentication is also "Login" activity. It should be counted.

Improve the sort order of candidate groups on invite modal
Currently, candidate users/groups that partially match the texts I entered are displayed in the ascending order.
We want a way to get the user/group that perfectly matches the texts I entered displayed at the top.For e.g., let's say we have the 4 groups each titled "Enterprise Sales team", "Commercial Sales team", "Online Sales team", "Sales team".
With current design, when I type "Sales team" in the textbox, candidate groups are returned in the below order (every group that contains "Sales team" is returned in an alphabetic order):

Ability to Change Current Root Folder for Box.com integration with Salesforce
To make sure our Salesforce sandboxes are kept up to date with our production instances. We refresh our Salesforce Sandbox every quarter. With the manage package installed after we refresh the Salesforce instance. We don't have the ability to change the Current Root Folder to a different folder meant for our Sandbox (We have different folders for different Salesforce Sandboxes) and the refresh sandbox is pointing to production. We have to uninstall the manage package and then reinstall and change it to the right folder. Since we have code that is using this, this can't be easily done. Asking for…

Display Tags under favourites
Users are unable to see tags when clicking on favourites in the new UI.
Tags have been replaced with the folder path. Tags are visible under the favourites section only in the old UI.

Alert users to communication failures between box and Office Online
Three times in the last two months, we have lost hours of edits to box files made in PowerPoint Online. Box’s position is that this is a communication failure on the Microsoft side: box passed the file to Microsoft and Microsoft failed to pass the file back. The edits made are lost with no recovery possible.
Since Microsoft has published its auto-save frequency for all of its integration partners (see https://wopi.readthedocs.io/en/latest/scenarios/coauth.html), could box implement a process to check for the auto-save in the window specified by Microsoft, and alert the end user if it’s not occurring? The file request link is a very useful feature.
The advantage of being able to operate from the API is great.

How do I change my default email address?
I could view my profile, which shows my email address, but when I go to edit the profile, the email address is not visible to alter! Help, I'm deleting my current email address and have replaced it with another.

I want to name or add descriptions to the different versions of a file
I have some documents with hundreds of versions. Right now, though, the only versions I would ever refer to are those uploaded in the past few weeks, when I remember the changes made and have context for why the file was updated. Looking back on new versions a year ago, I have no way of knowing what changes were made, what versions were major changes and what were marginal. The ability to preview prior versions is nice, but without the ability to review changes to the text, I would spend hours trying to understand what was different about a prior…

Admin Console Report - Only specific admin can retrieve the logs of specific users
Currently, Admin is able to retrieve the log of all managed users from admin console > Report. However customer would like to make it possible for only specific administrators to retrieve report information for specific users due to GDPR. Therefor customer wants only local admin in EU to be able to get the logs of users in that country.

Improvement plans about privacy settings of folders
Are there any improvement plans below?
BoxNote is not available when a folder is set privacy - "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" - active.
OfficeOnline is not available when you set folder privacy - "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" - active.
I often want to refer to Boxnote and MS Office documents for the purpose of reference much data and information with our business partners.

Device Trust documentation and error message should explicitly describe encryption requirements for external drives
The Device Trust message is misleading as it states “All internal disks must be encrypted” when it should state “All disks must be encrypted”. In addition, the language under Setting-Up-Device-Trust-Security-Requirements here https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044194993 states "Require all disks to be encrypted: Helps protect against data loss by requiring disk encryption software" but it only describes in detail internal disk encryption. It would be helpful if it stated here that all external disks must also be encrpyted.

Add ability to remove shared content from the All Files page
One of the complaints we've heard from our users is the inability to move shared content to a location other than their All Files page. For users with a lot of shared content this creates folder sprawl. With the new Collections feature we had hoped this would be possible as Collections can be accessed via the left pane.

Set a password for the "People in Company" shared link.
"People with the link" shared links can be set a password.
We want to use this for "People in Company" as well.Some companies also require you to set a password when sharing items to company users.
We believe that this feature will allow us to utilize Box even more.「リンクを知っている全員」の共有リンクには、パスワードを設定できます。

Support more than two most recent OS updates
The requirement to be on the last two OS updates is fairly onerous and makes it difficult to continue using Box. Supporting two recent versions sounds reasonable but upgrading is time consuming and risky and my system otherwise works perfectly. Dropbox have no such restriction and so I’m going to have to switch to them at least for the time being.

Make available list of countries available for a Shield List
The input fields are not the easiest way to find a value to add to a Shield List. Naming convention is different across systems, so it would be helpful to know the values that are available to be added.

Ability to assign specific metadata to a corresponding upload file zone when multiple exist on a page
As an internal user, I want to create a file request template that has multiple file upload zones where each file upload zone has unique metadata associated with the upload zone.
This enhancement would significantly improve the customer experience by utilizing a single URL instead of multiple. This enhancement would also streamline internal processes for staff by eliminating the need for staff to manually sort uploaded files.
In the current state, we are forced to create 3 separate file requests so that we can achieve the desired internal efficiencies.

Increase size of file allowed to be opened online
We have several large Excel files (example: one that is 16.6 MB) that don't allow for editing/collaboration using Box online. In order to edit it, our team has to take turns: open it in MS Excel and each of us work on the doc one a time. Please allow for larger files to be opened on Excel online since collaboration is one of the hallmarks of using Box for file storage!

Location of Open with message using UI Elements
Change the location where appearing warning message on Box Edit when opening with "UI Elements Open with"
Would like Box Edit to appear warning message on the monitor where is located browser that users try to open with it
Currently the warning message appears in primary monitor but this would be inconvenient if they try to open with it on browser in secondly monitor.3 votes -

Isolate the EDIT SHIELD CONFIGURATION co-admin permission to 2 different permissions:
- View-only detection rules, access policies, lists
- View, Edit, and Create Detection rules, access policies, and lists.

Ability to sync dot-files
I'm a developer and my projects are synced to box, and I need, when I access my projects on another computer, to retrieve all my files, including my "dot" files (such as .env, .gitignore, .editorconfig, etc.). Only, now "dot" files are not synced, as explained on this page:
https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044195433. This is a problem, so it would be nice to be able to manually force certain files to sync or to have them automatically sync.3 votes
