Automatic output function of shuttle job report
Currently, to output a job report, you must click the Export button from the Job Report window.
It would be great if the job was automatically exported to the Box Shuttle Reports folder when it was completed.
It would be even better to receive a notification email when the job report is automatically exported.3 votes -
Slack notifications for tasks
We cannot be getting task notifications on Slack Channel. Comment notifications to the Slack Channel have become very convenient, but if task notifications are also given, seamless communication will be possible and more convenient.

Request to suppress collaborator invitation emails.
When needing to invite a single user into multiple files and subfolders within a given folder, but not into all files in that specific folder, we'd like to see a way to suppress the email notifications that are automatically sent to that user each time the collaborator invitation is sent.
Currently there is no way to choose to not have the email notifications go out and then it inundates the user's inbox.

Notification of completion of processes such as move, copy, and delete
I would like the user who performed actions such as moving, copying, or deleting to be notified upon completion of the process.

Instead of stalling/killing workflow when file to be moved is still open, pause and send notifications to close file
Workflows currently stall (=die) if a file is meant to be moved following a task assignment, where the assignee edits the file and "Marks as complete" without having closed the file's tab. This can happen quite commonly: a user is asked to input edits into a file, so they open the file in the relevant Office online app (eg Excel online), and when they're done editing, if they forget to close the Excel online tab in their browser before going back to the BOX preview tab where they click on "Mark as Complete", then the workflow stalls. Box for Slack integration does not trigger a notification for uploads
Box for Slack integration currently does not notify when files are uploaded to a folder. Please add this functionality to allow users to be notified whenever a file is uploaded.

As an admin, I should be able to designate a folders zone (not restricted by the user).
In a closed environment where you have a single user designated as the owner, you are currently unable to utilize multiline tenancy. In an instance where UK HR Files need to have a zone of UK and US HR Files need to be in the US zone, I would need to create a separate service account to own each set of files.
Ideally you would be able to designate anything containing PII/PIA/IP to a root folder with a designated zone based on data storage compliance. Allowing multiple users to access without worrying about the need for unnecessary service accounts which…

Create variables within Box Automate
It would be amazing if we could create temporary variables within Box Automate.
Some examples include: be able to save the name of a file to send in a notification, save the number of times a loop ran outside of the loop, track how many times a loop back occurred, make a list of file names, etc.

Request for addition of a function to change the display unit of the storage size of insights in the management console
Currently, the display units for the overall size and the detailed size are different, and I would like to convert the units depending on whether I want to see a rough view or see more details, but it would be a hassle to convert each.

(Android) Usage of Android App Bundles
This would reduce the installation size of Box by a significant amount on Android devices. I personally suffer from inadequate storage space, so this would be extremely useful for users like me.

Ability to notify specific email address (not user who upload file) after user uploaded file via File Request.

Ability to check when user's password will be expired on their end
Currently users have no way to know when user's password will be expired on their end.
And then, Box doesn't send any notification to users in advance, so it likely lead to expire user's password.3 votes -
Relay Workflow to follow messages/ notifications to activities
It would be super helpful if you could use Box Relay to let a notification follow an activity. I know that you can generate tasks, but in that case I just want to let a certain group of users know that there is new content in a folder. A notification would be the best way to do this.

offline files and selective sync
I would like to see the ability to mark files and folders for local or offline storage. Currently box drive allows for only the folder to be marked offline or downloaded locally. When I don't need to have a file downloaded anymore there is not a way for me to mark them offline. I have tried marking the folder offline but that doesn't work to make the files I want offline. Email Notification for moved folders incorrect
We are seeing situation where a email message is generated indicating a folder has been deleted when a collaborator moves it out of the Owner's folder. The email contains a link to the owner's trash folder that results in an error message if you try to follow it.
Here is the setup.
User A - Creates a folder that contains sub-folders and files.
User A - Invites User B as an Editor on the root folder.
User B - Moves one of the sub-folder in the shared folder to another location in their own Box account.

Daily reminders on uncompleted tasks for Approvers in box relay
Would like to have a function to notify the Approver for uncompleted tasks in box relay on a daily bases. A popup when opening box of the web would also do.
When the Approver of a task is extremely busy, the current email notification is not enough, therefore would like to have an automatic reminder on a daily bases on pending approval tasks.

Expired Shared Link Notification to Owner
Today, if I click on an expired shared link I cannot access the file. Ideally, I'd like the content owner to be notified if I click on the expired shared link so that they know that I'm trying to access it/can make it available to me.

Request for Early Improvement of Upload Speed for Large Files in BoxZones Environment (excluding the United States).
While improvements have been made in the past regarding upload speed in the NonZones environment, these improvements have not yet been implemented in the Zones environment.
There is no significant difference for small to medium-sized files, but there is a noticeable difference for large files of 1GB or more, with a roughly threefold gap observed in multiple upload speed measurements.
As employees regularly upload large-sized drawings, photos, videos, and other data in their daily tasks, this disparity leads to missed opportunities and decreased productivity.
