The option to invite users as Editor when Box for Teams creates a Chat Folder
Box for Teams currently invites users as co-owner in Chat folder which is too strong permission. Admin don't allow end-users to have any inviting permission in any other folders but it creates a backdoor when Box for Teams is enabled

We would like to hide the prompt that asks whether to lock the file displayed in BoxDrive.
We would like to hide the prompt that asks whether to lock the file displayed in BoxDrive.
Currently, BoxDrive shows a prompt for file locking every time a file is opened.
This is particularly disruptive when opening multiple files simultaneously.We would like administrators to have the ability to turn off this prompt through settings.

BoxDriveで表示されるファイルをロックするかを確認するプロンプトを非表示にしたい。現在BoxDriveではファイルを開くたびにファイルロックのためのプロンプトが表示されます。
特に複数ファイルを同時に開くときに作業の妨げになります。管理者が設定で表示をOFFにできる機能を実装してほしい。

Please reflect "Notify affected users" setting change on the security logs report
Currently, "Notify affected users: x days before expiration" setting change does not get reflected on the security logs report.
<Repro steps:>
- Go to Admin Console > Enterprise Settings > [Content & Sharing] tab.
- Make sure "Automatically remove invited collaborators" is ON.
- Turn on or off "Notify affected users: x days before expiration" checkbox and save the setting, with "Automatically remove invited collaborators" kept ON.
- Run the security logs report.
Currently the change does not get logged on the security logs report.
Please reflect this "Notify affected users" setting change on the security logs report.5 votes -
AI on iwork
Newer versions of iWork files are not currently searchable via AI in Box. Please make these files searchable in Box AI.

Video Watermarking preserved upon download
In the Video Watermarking feature, have the option for those with download/edit capability to retain the watermark. I.e. preserve the watermark when downloaded by content editors or co-owners.

Increase the deletion limit on the suppression list, which is currently capped at 10 email addresses per day
Currently, the maximum number of email addresses allowed on deleting the suppression list is limited to 10 per day. However, for large-scale organizations with tens of thousands of employees, the number of addresses that need to be suppressed is much higher, and 10 per day is insufficient. We would like this limit to be increased.

We want group administrators to edit tracking codes
Currently, tracking code information can only be accessed by Admins and Co-Admins with permission.
We wish it was possible to give group admins the ability to edit tracking codes.
Alternatively, We would like it to be possible to be a co-admin while being a group admin.グループ管理者に追跡コードの編集を行わせたい

Allow further restrictions on who can view/submit a Box Form
Right now Box Form submissions allow all (anonymous) or any logged in Box user to view/submit them. It would be useful to be able to further restrict these form links in manners similar to shared links. There are many times that a workflow driven by a form would be internal to a specific company and hence options like only users of xyz enterprise would be nice to minimize the risk of any data being shared externally from form questions and/or outside entities entering data into the form.

Box for Salesforce - Add Option to Show the Sidebar in Content Explorer and Preview UI Elements
Currently, the Sidebar is not enabled for UI Elements in Box for Salesforce. This would provide a property to show or hide the sidebar on the Content Explorer and Preview UI Element components.

Requirement for Box Apps in the Salesforce embed experience. Use case: Bankers interact with Box via Salesforce & Drive; with a working use case of legal document management, we would require bankers to view apps dashboards via salesforce

Links
When sharing a link, if a user has Box installed, it prompts them to sign in or sign up; they do not get an option to simply open the link. This is unfriendly! Let's make Box less nerdy and more sensitive to the user experience.
I have clients who will not use box links because of this.

Shield Alerts and Admin Sudo Activity
As an admin, I will need to sign in as my users for tasks, troubleshooting, etc. When we do so, all actions taken as that user while an admin is signed in as them should be noted as such in all reporting. For instance, I signed in as a user yesterday and we received an alert for the activities I performed as them, but nothing pointed to me being the actor. Threats occur with end users and admins, and full, transparent visibility is vital in the event of an incident.

Selection to automatically enable metadata cascade policy and autofill
It would be very helpful to have options to enable the cascade policy and autofill on the metadata policy. I would want it to be a selection so it's not enabled by default, but can be if I choose. When applying a policy to many folders, which we do often, this is adds a lot of time to the process. Thank you.

Create Folder From Relay Folder Navigation View
In order to create a Relay Workflow the folder structure has to already be in place. This is not always the case. It would be helpful to be able to create a folder from the Relay Folder Navigation view.
For example: if I am creating a File Request flow, I navigate to Relay, start a new workflow, select my File Request trigger, and I want my first outcome to move the file to a folder.
If that folder hasn't been created I need to cancel or navigate away from Relay back to my All Files, create the folder, go back…

Video Player controls are blocking my content for review
When we send a client a video to review, the Box player controls cover the video making it difficult or impossible to correctly review. This is especially true for captions/graphics.
Please move the controls off of the video so it doesn't block the content.

webhook metadata
Include all the metadata key/value pairs in the webhook payload when METADATA_INSTANCE.CREATED event is triggered so clients don't have send an additional GET request to fetch the metadata values.

Allow use of signature and initial image files for GXP part 11 compliant signatures
Could you please allow the use of signature image files when signing under GXP part 11 compliant conditions? As currently configured, only "fake" machine-generated signatures are given as options. Since the Part 11 compliance is conveyed by the coding, the selection of an actual signature image - as allowed for non-Part 11 compliant signatures (and initials) - should be an option. Thanks.

metadata template report
Can we get a report that lists all the metadata values entered into a template for a folder or file. I have users that need reports of the values entered in their metadata templates to validate files and folders have the correct metadata.

Change default view in folders being shared
Box defaults to showing files via upload date, please allow the ability to select what the default view is, so that it can be set to file name (ie alphabetically).
When sharing links to folders with clients, files being shown via upload date looks messy and unprofessional and asking the client to change the view on their side isn't an option or a solution.
