The ability to prohibit folder operations by users with editor privileges
From a folder management perspective, we do not want end users to be able to create new folders, delete folders, or rename folders at all in all hierarchies, with the goal of preventing end user misoperation with folders.
Currently, all folders are created by the administrator, but since end users can also create, rename, and delete folders, we are concerned that in the future, as Box is used, there will be more folders that the administrator cannot detect, which will confuse all end users. Box Sign requests default "my requests" folder
Box Sign requests default to save into a "my requests" folder for all users. We don't always need the sign request saved into our regular Box folder structure and having a separate place for each user to send their requests to would be more beneficial.

block an upload by external user using Box Drive with smart access
The current Shield feature only controls downloading, cannot blocks uploading/syncing and is not ransom-proof. The biggest problem is that when external users use BoxDrive and BoxSync, ransomware-infected files are uploaded/synchronized on Box.

Send Box Sign requests on behalf of another person.
I would like to be able to have someone send a sign request on my behalf from my email address. I would like to be able to approve a document for signature, then have an Exec Asst send the request out as if it came from me.

Scheduling documents with Box Sign
It would be very beneficial for us to be able to schedule documents that require review and signature to be sent at a predetermined time. We use SIgn to send people involved in our investigations (higher ed Title IX) documents, so it is easier to preschedule things then have to do them at various times.

Content Explorer Default View Property
Box Content Explorer - allow an attribute to set default view to Grid (Thumbnail) view.
This view option is available on the Embed iframe, but strangely not an option for Content Explorer - means that all of my users need an extra click each time). I cannot trigger a click as Content Explorer is already in an iFrame

Microsoft Office
When collaborating on Office documents shared via Box we're unable to track changes. It would be nice to have this enabled. Essentially the same functionality as if we were working within Sharepoint.

If the parent company and multiple subsidiaries are using Box in separate tenants, I want to be able to manage them with one tenant.
If we were to integrate a parent company tenant and multiple subsidiary tenants into one tenant, it would take a lot of time to migrate a large amount of data, and it would be difficult to parallelize business operations, which would be unrealistic.
As an example, if the management is performed by the parent company's tenant, the purpose is as follows.
・User management is done by the parent tenant.
・Leave the data as is to multiple subsidiary tenants.

Allow users to set Sort Preferences
Users should be able to save default sort preferences.
Currently I see "Least Recently Updated" documents first, which is never helpful.

Contact search on first and last name when sharing a folder
When searching a contact to share a folder with, the first name, surname and even the email address should be listed as results if they contain the string you are looking for.
Today search "Smith" to find "John Smith" doesn't give any result, but searching "John" will give "John Smith". The issue is that something you only know the first name or last name of the contact you're looking for. Mickey Mouse might be registered as "Mouse Mickey" and won't be found searching "Mickey". Disturbing.

Just like the storage value of Insights in the Admin console has been corrected, we request that the user details report will also be corrected to display more correct values.
Due to the UI change, the Insights storage in the management console now displays a relatively correct value, but the user details report has not been corrected and is now showing a lower value.

Gallery
I share albums of photos which are hosted in a box folder. It would be great if the page that I share could look like a very nice gallery layout similar to a Google photos album where some photos are bigger and some are smaller. Rather than the UI of a grid layout with filename. To have an option to to view like this when sharing

Dataroom Indexing
Similar to other virtual dataroom software solutions, Box.com should be able to autoindex files. This is a very basic capability that other solutions like Egnyte, Firmex and Sharefile are able to do. The reason this is important is so that you can direct an external party to look for a file at a specific index/location such as 1.1.5.6.4. When a client is viewing on their phone in browser, the video should go full screen when they hold their phone horizontally.
I have clients who view our videos on their phone everyday. I can’t control if they have the box ap or what phone/browser they use. But they should be able to view our videos full screen horizontally. Currently it will go full screen Vertically, but if they move their phone horizontally it is a weird zoomed in look that is not full screen.

Show full file names within iOS app
The current iOS mobile app by design only shows the first 10-12 characters of file names in portrait mode. It is not much better in landscape mode. This makes the app very hard to work with if you have many files which have the same first 20-50 characters. It should be possible to view the full file names in the iOS app.

Add Box Report in the Status Site
Inside the Status Site (https://status.box.com/), I would like "Box Report" to be added as a category to show whether the Admin reports are fully operational
