Spell Checker and Global File and Folder renaming Tool
Box needs file and folder name spelling checking with auto suggestion like any spell checker.
Further the ability to find and replace incorrectly named files and folders in folders and sub folders across an entities instance of Box at admin level.1 vote -
Folder and file reports are output in a tree format, making it easier to understand the folder hierarchy.
The new platform version of the Folders and Files report is sorted by creation date by default.
This does not fulfill the role of a folder tree report.
If folders are not specified, sorting by all folder/file IDs, etc. into a tree format is impractical and affects business operations(Japanese)

Ability to edit file request
I created a file request with 3 different file request upload boxes (videos, images, quotes), but didn't know that users MUST upload something into the first box or they would get an error. It would be VERY helpful to either be able to edit a file request (so I can change it to just one upload box) or allow people to upload into ANY of the file request boxes.

Box Shield get notified about a classified document if it gets placed in a folder with unauthorized parties (e.g. internal only doc gets placed in external folder… today, an external person can’t open the document, but it would be good to get notified that we need to put it back in the correct place).

Enable option to turn on Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) for all documents.
This is important for Search and Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)/Ethical Walls.
E.g. a Driver's License, Passport, etc. image gets uploaded, then Box DLP doesn't recognize this today.

Box Sign - Add Notary | eNotary
Add the ability to have a document notarized. The notary needs to be invited by a signer and should include standard notary fields. Please see equivalent feature in DocuSign for reference.

Box Sign - Add Witness
DocuSign has the ability to have the document witnessed. This allows the person signing the document to invite a second person who can view the document and record their name, email address, occupation, and physical address. The witnesses information is then recorded on a separate 'summary' page. Our attorney's have requested this feature in Box sign.

Default email notification for a folder
Set a default notification setting for a folder (i.e. Every collaborator gets a notification email when a new file is uploaded), until the individual wants to change that and override it. This would be helpful in the case where we want to utilize Box to share files with external clients and avoid sending a separate email to them to let them know that we've uploaded a new file. It would be a hassle (and maybe not likely to happen) to rely on external clients to change their own personal notification settings.

I want to set conditions for files in File Request
I want to limit the types of files that can be received by checking file extensions (Word, Excel, Power Point, PDF, image, video, audio files, etc.)
I want to be able to set a single file size limit.Implementing this function improves security.

Increase maximum image size for branding a Box Sign to above 1 MB
Upload limit for Box Sign Company Logo Branding is only 1 MB. This is too small when the average file size of a smartphone mobile phone camera picture is about 3MB, LinkedIn allows 8 MB and Google allows 5 MB.

External files are displayed in Content Manager
The External Collaboration Report outputs folders and files that are invited from outside as "external folder" and "external file".
The Content Manager only displays external folders, which is not consistent.
Therefore, we would like the external folders to be displayed in the Content Manager as well.5 votes -
I want to share only the necessary folders and files on the BOX drive
Since it is troublesome to access BOX.com, I usually access and edit the necessary folders and files from the BOX drive, but it would be convenient to be able to display only the necessary folders and files. Currently, when you open a folder with "Windows + E", all the folders and files in "All files" of BOX.com are displayed on the BOX drive, but you do not access all of these, and you can save files that are accessed infrequently. I think you should check BOX.com to confirm.

Ability to detect which Box client is running on a user's device
It would be very helpful to build out functionality to detect which Box client is installed on a user's machine from within the portal to assist with product troubleshooting.

Allow Admins to STOP Email Uploads Success/Failure Notifications
We have a requirement for some groups to email reports into Box folders. When using the Email Upload functionality, Box will send the uploading user an email to confirm whether their upload completed successfully or failed. Employees receive excessive emails since we cannot stop Box from sending these confirmations.
Just make it an option in the admin console to shut off these confirmation emails.2 votes -
Box to remember defaults when viewing a Box note
Currently every time I open any Box note, I have to click the button to show/hide the file location to hide it (avoid unnecessarily sharing details of Box notes when screen sharing) and also the "extra wide" view option to better use my screen real estate.
I'd like Box to remember these settings as over the days, weeks and months of use, the time used must add up. I like that for the current browser session it remembers the settings, but I am asking for this memory to extend over logins and browser closes.
