I'd like the trash bin status to be reverted to the previous specification.
Regarding the BOX trash bin, since around August 12, 2025, all files appear to have the "10 years" policy applied to the trash bin, so I would like you to restore it to the previous state.

Add repeatable sections to forms
Would be great to see repeatable sections in the forms.
So for example you have a set of fields related to some entity, and the user can add multiple entries of this entity by hitting to add additional sections with the same fields in it.

Added deletion counts to public Beta for Folder Insights
The public beta version of Folder Insights does not provide insight into deletions made within folders.
Until now, if a file was accidentally deleted, it was necessary to get an administrator report, which was a lot of work, but if Folder Insights can provide a report of deleted files, work will become smoother.

Implement a Shield Geo-fencing control that would disable access to Box folders for External Collabs when they try to access Box content from abroad.

Using variables in Box Relay messages
When sending messages using the Box Relay feature, it would be more convenient if variables could be used within the message.
For example, if you use the name of the file that triggered the flow as a variable and send a message saying "Approval of the submitted file named <variable> has been completed," it will be clear which workflow has completed.12 votes -
Embed forms in Hubs
It would be good to be able to embed a simple form into a Hub to allow users to post a question or provide feedback directly in a Hub (for example, "I can't find information on X - can you please include it in the hub?")

Request for improvement of the UI for granting permissions displayed on the content card in Box for Teams
If you try to grant permission before sending a message, you will see the error message "Return to the main window to perform this action"
We are aware that this behavior is documented in a support article.
However, the permission prompts on the content cards are confusing because they seem to require immediate action to grant permissions.

Request for improvement to the number of users without access displayed on the content card in Box for Teams
If the user has only been invited as a group, they will be counted and shown as "without access" even though they have access permissions because they are not a direct collaborator.
We are aware that this behavior is documented in a support article.
However, the display differs from the actual situation and may induce incorrect responses, as described below.

Replace the Last Login on the User Details report with Last Activity
Replace the Last Login on the User Details report with Last Activity. It is very misleading to have Last Login, most people will assume this means if the last login was over a year ago, they aren't active.

Box Sign mask user inputs from other signers
Currently Box Sign fields are visible to all users in the signing process. When users provide sensitive information (PII, PHI, financial information) as part of a signature process, we need to be able to hide that sensitive data from other signers in the process.
Ex: Application for benefits reveals assets and income from the applicant but an approver in the process should not be able to see those individual fields (SSN, bank account numbers, disability status).

Box AI window is blocking underlying document
Box AI currently opens in a windows that covers the file I'm viewing in the browser.
Open Box AI in a new window that I can drag to another monitor so I can still see the file I'm using and better form my prompts/questions for Box AI.

Functionality to embed and directly edit Excel in Box Note.
When a shared link is included in Box Note, it is possible to embed the preview of Box's interface. However, I request the ability to directly edit an Excel file when a shared link for Excel is included.
While Box Note does have a feature to insert tables, it inevitably falls short in functionality compared to Excel. Enabling direct online editing would allow for the maximum utilization of Box Note's collaborative editing capabilities.

Request for Early Improvement of Upload Speed for Large Files in BoxZones Environment (excluding the United States).
While improvements have been made in the past regarding upload speed in the NonZones environment, these improvements have not yet been implemented in the Zones environment.
There is no significant difference for small to medium-sized files, but there is a noticeable difference for large files of 1GB or more, with a roughly threefold gap observed in multiple upload speed measurements.
As employees regularly upload large-sized drawings, photos, videos, and other data in their daily tasks, this disparity leads to missed opportunities and decreased productivity.

Set values for "external_app_user_id" of Managed Users
We are developing a tool to extract user data from AD, Azure and other IDMs and provision them to Box via API.
We want to use the user IDs on the IDM as a user external key for Box so that we can track the associated Box account when the email address changes on the IDM side.
However, the current attribute "externalappuser_id" of Box users has the following limitationsOnly the App User can be set as the value.

Expand Capabilities for Adding External Collaborators to Relay Tasks/Notifications
Currently, a user can only add an external collaborator to a Relay Task/Notification if the following are true -
- The user owns the content
- The user has added the external collaborator to content
- The user has to have less than 5,000 external collaborators on items they own
Many customers have a closed folder structure, where one admin user owns all content, so this admin user would be the only one who can create the workflow with external collaborators added to tasks/notifications. For large organizations especially, this is difficult to administer and maintain, so ideally even users who do not own…

3rd Party Integrations and Pull Data from Other Sources
We would love to see Box Canvas have robust integration capabilities (e.g. MS Suite, Zoom, Miro, Mural, etc.) It would be great if we had the ability to pull data in from other sources (for example, MS Excel) to Box Canvas.

Allow "date uploaded" / "date triggered" as metadata fields
Even though a file already has the date it was uploaded and modified attached to it, it would be useful to capture a date automatically like this in the same area where user-submitted metadata appears.
I would like a field in metadata templates and Relay similar to the date picker except that it only stamps the current date, so a file request could come in with metadata such as a user-entered email address and the date uploaded, without any chance of the user having picked a different date.

Select box reports export folder
With the new scheduled report capability, it would be useful to determine the folder where scheduled report are exported as a way to grant access to a range of users. Whilst we can now select who are the viewers for a report, this is not ideal as people change roles, and therefore a location or a Box Group would be much more convenient ways to share scheduled reports

Ability for another user to "resolve" and / or reply to a comment or annotation
As a document owner, I want to be able to resolve comments / annotations made by other users. It would also be useful to be able to reply (in a thread) to a comment (e.g., to get clarification.)
