Drag and Drop documents from collections to different folders
Hey!
I keep frequently used document templates in my collections, and it would be great to drag them from the left sidebar and drop them into the current folder I am viewing.
If I want to copy a document template that is in my collections sidebar to a folder, I have to click into the document and then navigate to copy/move and then find the folder I was just in and select copy.
I hope this makes sense, but happy to discuss it further.

Relay: Extend Collaboration as an action
I would like to have "Extend Collaboration" as an option of "Action" in Relay.
This is useful when a certain project is longer than the expiration set in the whole account.
When it is known the finish date for that project, I would like to automatically extend the expiry date beforehand using Relay.2 votes -
Allow folders to be uploaded with File Request
File Request is a helpful feature, but often isn't useful as most external parties want to share folders (including sub folders) of documents with us. Can a feature be added to allow folders to be shared as part of File Request - perhaps renamed to Folder/File Request?

Ability to restrict access to specific folders from mobile devices
We need to be able to restrict our users from viewing secure content on their phones. But not all of our content is secure. We would like to provide the convenience to our users of accessing their files via box, but restrict specific, secure, project related files from mobile access.

Include a Domains or Enterprise column in External Collaborations Report
Currently, if you create an external collaborations report in the Admin Console you will have columns that include a user's email address and whether they are External. Ideally, for some use cases it is helpful to be able to organize this data by enterprise/domain so you can see what information/content is not only being shared with which users, but which enterprises as a whole at a more macro level

I would like to see the "running application" pop-up automatically removed after the application is opened.
When you open a native Office application in Box Edit, Box displays the message "Running application".
The above message remains even after the file is opened, but it's hard to tell if the file is open or not, so can you change the function so that it disappears automatically after the application is launched in Office?

Support more preview fonts
Zinc Group uses fonts that are currently not supported for Box web UI preview, Klavika and Stag. Since these fonts are used extensively in the company's approved document templates, they wish to have them added to the list of supported fonts for preview.

Control managed user external collaboration to webmail accounts
Setting that allows admin of corporate instance to control/limit managed users being collaborated into personal Box webmail accounts. This would be a setting to control/limit an outside Box webmail user collaborating a corporate managed user into its personal account.

Autoforward URL from (Box Alternate domain) to Box.com
We need a solution to Auto -forward URL request from (Box Alternate domain) to Box.com as to overcome situation where user in China location can access Box links shared by user in Geo location with Box.com .

Ability to copy/duplicate files
My local City sends out links to files that expire in 30 days or so.
Currently I download those files, then upload them back to box,net.The "copy" feature for such links seems to copy the links, not create a safe local copy of the data.

Folder color and icon customization
Current UI, it is not easy to recognize which folder is important in visually.
If we can customize folder color and icon by importance, it is going to be easy to discriminate between folders and it is improve security.38 votes -
Support multi-file for rejected task trigger in Relay
Suppose you like to assign an approval task to a person with multiple files and when the task is rejected, you like to move the package of those “rejected” files to a different folder("Rejected folder) instead of having them sat in the triggered folder.
For a single file, you can create the following workflow containing 2 flows and it works perfect as expected, however it doesn't work for multi-files...
Flow 1: Trigger Manual start-> Outcome: Assign task -> When rejected, the flow is end

Collaborator Restriction to a folder.
We need the ability to decide which subfolders a specific collaborator can access. Specifically, we need to restrict access of one collaborator to a subfolder (and all of its contents/subfolders). I was told this is not something Box cannot do. This is an issue. We need to set up an ethical wall in the firm. This associate needs to retain access to everything he currently can access, but legally we need to restrict his access to this matter (folder) and all it's contents.

Box for Teams Integration for Private Channels
Today, Box for Teams Integration does not support Private Channels.

84 votesThis limitation is due to Microsoft’s platform not allowing integrations to surface as messaging extensions (Box icon to upload and share documents). Until Microsoft supports this for third parties, Box is unable to deliver this functionality. We are working with Microsoft but there is no timeline for delivery at this point.

I've switched over from Dropbox where I was able to copy a comment placed on a file via the app
Please include that feature (3 dots in the right corner of every comment) in the app to be able to copy the text to paste elsewhere

Tags and comments in Box Drive
Is there a way to see the tags in Box Drive? Right now I have to view box on the browser to see the tags for each file. Is there some option to view the tags in Box Drive without having to go to box.com each time?
