Windows App Custom Disctionary for Spell Check
Using the Box Notes Windows desktop app is awesome. A huge pain point is the spell-check feature because it lacks a custom dictionary feature. In many cases, my notes are riddled with little red spelling error-underlines because the application doesn't allow me to accept and remember frequently used words. Examples include names, places, people, companies, products, etc. The list could go on but I fell I've effectively communicated my concern.

enhances audio playback controls
Allow Users to be able to play audio at different speeds within Box. Additionally, have the ability to rewind audio for a certain number of seconds (for example, a 20 second rewind, 30 second rewind, etc.)

Warning when changing metadata associated with retention policy
Warn or prevent the user if they are changing a metadata value associated with a retention policy from a value with a longer ret policy to one with a shorter ret policy

Better controls around external folders
You can't control permissions, shared links, or back up on files or folders shared from an External Collaborator.

Disallow special characters that are not accepted by Windows Explorer or Mac Finder
in order to minimize issues with prohibited characters in Box Drive/Sync.

Open a file in web apps immediately when clicking on link in Box web file browser
Currently, clicking on a link opens a new tab in the web browser with a preview of the file and the option to open the file in a web app. There should be a preference to open the file directly in a web app or to generate the preview screen. The preview screen would be useful if the text of the displayed document could be copied without line breaks at the end of each displayed line. I often open many documents per session to copy snippets, but have to take the extra step of opening the doc in a web…

Improve the help text for “Allow Folder Owners to Extend The Expiration Date”
Feedback on info bubble that shows up in the admin console when setting collaborations to expire:
because we have the box checked to : “Allow Folder Owners to Extend The Expiration Date” – with your info bubble specifically stating “Allowing user to modify settings will apply these settings as a default setting..”
While I’m no linguist, I believe that in this context, default means this setting can be modified, especially as that info bubble continues with “..Not allowing these settings to be modified will enforce these settings on your users.”
A better info bubble could be wanting here

Add 24-Hour Option for Permanent Deletion
Is there a way to get a shorter time frame to permanently delete items in the trash folder? Such as 24 hours?

Change prompt message for shared-folder deletion
Currently the message is "Are you sure you want to delete this item",
but when it is shared by other people, in most cases users are not aware that other collaborators will not be able to access that folder and all included files.Suggest the message to be specific and please also add additional prompt like "Are you sure? This folder has XX items in it." since we have experienced few times that root folders are deleted and 1-2 days are needed to restore.

Indicate when a file has been shared by me
Indicate when a file has been shared by me. This used to be a feature (an icon would appear next to the file) that I relied on because I don't always remember if I've shared the file or not. Now I may send a certain file more than once to a particular person not remembering that I already sent it.

Add description option to 'All files' level to give information/instruction to users
Requesting a description section to allow for information that would always show at the top of the 'All files' view. Potential uses:
- Basic info for new users, pinned to screen they see after login
- Guidance and company updates that could be changed as required

Upload multiple folders using Upload button
I am trying to migrate data from my desktop to Box. I am able to upload multiple files at the same time but not multiple folders.
I would like to place a feature request for “upload multiple folder using “upload” button on Box web app.

customized page
Customizable Box Tools Web Page - When a user is logging into Box, the Box Tools page displays, allowing Box Tools to check / verify security of the user's machine prior to entering the Box environment. However, this web page is not modifiable and because of that, can cause end user confusion. For example, the page displays text to download Box Tools, but if the user already has the package installed, that is not necessary information. This page should be customizable to allow for organizations to add their support contact information and instructions on what to do.
