scan .bak files
For heaven's sake allow box to scan .bak files - it's practically the only reason I'm using box! What's the point of a cloud back up system that won't back up backup files!!

Group creation next or finished button
When creating groups, I need to click back on groups to create a new group. When just starting with Box I had to create over 50 new groups and it would have made the job easier having a pop-up or a button asking if I want to create an additional group, or am I finished.

Improve the de-provisioning process in Box
Improve the de-provisioning process in Box so that old content isn't stored when it's not needed, and if it is needed, the right people are taking over ownership of the content. Workflow should look something like this: -User leaves company and is removed from AD group or marked somehow as "removed" -Collaborators on their shared folders are notified that they should take ownership of the folders, if the content is still needed. For example "you have 30 days to take ownership of X folder." -When they click to take ownership, the folder/file is now owned by them and other collaborators…

Shield reports suspicious IP location when opening files through O365. Adds lots of unnecesary noise
In Shield, when a user previews/opens a file to Office Online it tracks as a suspicious IP location. It would be great if it could be separated and designated a lower priority than a genuine account compromise. Just a suggestion to clean up the Shield alert queue

Support for Apple file formats (Keynote, Numbers, Pages)
It would be great when would Box APIs support Apple Mac file formats .key, .pages and .numbers. Especially full text search and preview. Our company only works on Macs so we have thousands of documents in these formats. Unfortunately, Box APIs do not support these formats so we cannot make use of many Box features. This would be really great.

Requesting functionality to recognize an existing file name (upon upload of a new file) and option to override or save with a new name.
Issue: End users may have documents coming in via email / etc. about a deal or a client that have the same name. When saving to Box from email, if the file has the same name as an existing file it is currently saved as a new version of that file. In reality, the document may be completely different. On Windows file server, they are used to having a prompt warning them that a file already exists with that name, with an option to either save & override the file or change the file name. excel online previewer for Box Platform
We want to user the Excel online previewer for Box Platform as well.
We are able to open excel files with Excel online previewer when we access from Box.com.

Relay Lite for multiple users
Relay Lite has a limitation that would work only for a home user. Any business organization would have a primary and backup user monitoring work items, so the ability to list multiple people on the workflow notifications and having only one complete it is essential. We can list multiple recipients in other areas of your product, and should be able to do so in Relay-Lite, rather than being restricted to a single radio button choice.

Shared links control for primary admin
Create a primary admin only setting that will delete all shared links for an entire enterprise. Trying to enforce an expiration date for all shared links in the enterprise and all the current solutions are not scalable and are very time consuming.

Specify the error in the Tracking section
Feature request suggestion: Currently all it says is "Unable to create folder: An error occurred in the workflow". It would've been helpful to see that the error was in the folder name. If there's a lack of space, we can list all the possible reasons for the error on Community too (I think we have a similar list for Sync/Drive errors).

We would like to change the icons for Box Drive to appear different for a shortcut vs network drive. We encountered an issue and confusion with Box Drive. One day, Box Drive didn't start up. We assumed that the shortcut icon on the desktop wasn't working properly. Therefore, we went to [C:\Users*UserAccount*] and found a shortcut icon which was exactly the same as the one on the desktop. We would like the the ability to submit request/cases from within the admin console with an admin login.
This is very helpful if an admin has to provide permission for features or requests to the support team.

With the latest update - you can't change file name until you make the printing really small. Please stop making so many updates without testing them first. I'm a paying customer.

Notification if an edit is made to a file
When a user makes an edit to an excel document using Microsoft Excel Online a notification should go out just like the notifications for Download, Upload, Comments, Previews, and Deletes.

Ability to configure auto play of movie and audio files
Allow file owner to configure movie / audio files to auto play, as soon as the preview file is being opened by others. (instead of showing Play button to be clicked)
