Moving and Copying Files
When you are moving or copying a file, I wonder if its possible to have some of your "recent" destination folders with hot links. As it stands, if you have complexity in your file system, it defaults to the source folder. This would save a fair bit of time. Just like the 5 most recent folders you copied files to.

box drive forgets folder personalization
Please, Please figure out a way to remember my column settings. I use long file names and constantly resize the windows not marked to offline

In China we have to use (redacted) as box.com is blocked, and after few weeks not logining (Box Alternate domain)
One of our vendor can’t login box with his own company email account. And then can’t share file with him to update.
I found he can’t see the “i’m not a robot” after login (Box Alternate domain) to fill in password as he doesn’t have VPN enabled
after i use his account to login and validated this， he can then login normally.
Looks if you don’t use box for few weeks, it will ask you to validate via this google authentication way which he can’t see it without VPN.
How to fix this for china users if they can't use…

Popup
After I edit a file, a green notification popup is displayed telling me I just edited the file. This popup follows me around and prohibits me from clicking links (edit file e.g.) until I close it. While somewhat minor, it is rather annoying to have to close each popup notification, when moving about and editing multiple files. Thanks.

Exclusive control
If someone else is locking the file, like the Explorer (file server), you want to display a pop-up screen of "in use"

At this point we have no plans to create powershell specific SDK. However, the Box Command Line utility can be called from within powershell which may be of help. https://developer.box.com/guides/tooling/sdks/cli/

Global ability to lock all files that are opened
We want all files "locked" when opened so that any other user would be notified that the file is opened by another user and they can look in "read-only" view.

Add "new note" to long-press/3D Touch option in iOS Box app.
Creating notes in the iOS app really is clunky. As it seems sa standalone Box Notes app for mobile isn't planned, having an option to "create note" in the long press/3D touch menu would be great. At the moment i don't use Box Notes at all, my quick captures & notes go in Drafts or Evernote.

Ability to filter events by "Affected" on user activity report
We would like to have the ability to filter events by "Affected" column (currently, user and affected folder/file are only available filter options).
For e.g., for "Add login app" event, device information is logged in "Affected" column, and so having this filter option will help us identify new login from unintended devices and improve monitoring.2 votes -

Request to reduce number of clicks to edit contents

List of All Folders that I own.
New Feature to allow individual users to pull a Report of all the folders that they personally "Own".
The reasoning behind this is due to the fact that Lotus Notes Teamrooms are being sunset, and BOX is becoming the repository for many Accounts Contractual Data. From a business controls perspective, "Owners"must now must ensure that they "Secure" confidential contractual data via folder Settings. Since BOX has been around for some time, we could have access to hundreds of folders, and it is very time consuming to check which are the ones we "Own".

Keep Cost Center Field populated when user invited as a Managed user
If creating an account and you have to send the user an Invite to come over as a managed user, the Cost Center field (If filled out) will not stay after the user accepts the invite. Forcing you to have to go back and re-add info you may have already included.
I would request that if the Cost Center field is populated on a user creation, that it remain after an invited user accepts their invite to stop double work.

True Client IP vs Accelerator IP in Audit Logs
To improve download speeds, Box automatically leverages "accelerator" hosts on various cloud/hosting providers around the world. When this happens, the "client IP address" recorded in the audit logs is the accelerator IP address, and not the true endpoint IP address. This results in false positives in "impossible travel" analytics, and could result in false negatives. We request that the audit logs be enhanced to capture the true client IP and accelerator IP (where applicable) as separate fields in the logs.

Synchronize file order between Box for Office and Web App
When we handle the files via Box for office, the file/folder order is not the same as the WebApp. The customer would like to order the files/folders as the same as in the files/folders order on WebApp.

Box Content for Netsuite should say New Folder and not Default
Instead of the blue button saying Default it should say New Folder.

Remove 100 "to_user_ids" limit of WebhookV1.
With webhook V1, we have the upper bound of 100 users in "touserids" field for each notification, so when a webhook has too many recipients (that is, more than 100 users are to be set in "touserids" field), we send multiple webhook notification for a single event so "touserids" is kept within 100 users for each notification.
For e.g. if an upload event was to trigger notification to 1000 recipients, we send 10 webhook notifications to the notification url with 100 users embedded in "touserids" field of each notification.
This causes duplicate…
