Box Drive Accidental Deletion
Since the introduction of Box Drive end users that haven't read the documentation and skip through the walkthrough aren't used to seeing all of the files and folders.
The user without realizing, then believes that all of these files and folders either aren't needed or are taking up physical space on their hard drive. The user then either randomly deletes select files and folder or just deletes everything within Box Drive. A solution is needed to either further alert or prevent this. One other possible solution is to create a process to fully restore all of the deletions and collaborations.

Relay/task push notification on Mobile app
We are currently evaluating Relay so notifications on Mobile will be important for making Relay a viable solution (and will certainly make regular comments/tasks easier to access).

Add metadata to search results in web app
Currently in the "search results" view in the web app, it is difficult to identify if an item is returned in the search result due to matching metadata. By adding matching metadata which triggered a "positive" search result to the list of search results, it will help guide the user to the correct search result. Without the matching metadata in the search results view, the metadata search query matching and filter functionality is not very useful, as users cannot tell the exact context that resulted in the search result matching. Eliminate confirmation email for manually created or provisioned accounts
We feel that the confirmation email step should not be utilized with accounts that are manually created in the portal or that are auto provisioned from AD. When we create a new account, there is a "delay" with the new email address being propagated and established in our third-party cloud-based email security system. This causes the new email to be added to the hard bounce list at Box due to the email address not being valid (yet). Editor permissions without delete function
Recently, we had a user delete a very important and large folder that housed 1.4 TB of client data. We have looked into changing permissions for all users to Viewer Uploader from Editor to prevent this from happening again, but this also takes away the ability to MOVE files/folders as well. We would like there to be an option for a role to be introduced that would allow users to have all functions of Editor just WITHOUT the ability to delete.

Make it easier to create a free account for external collaboration
free users account creation is difficult so this lead to lower the usage of external collaboration. Hence, the users are using more shadow IT

Enhance and support the Box Embed Widget for mobile browsers.
We outsource hosting and presenting documents to Box. We allow our users to upload documents in our app and we upload them to Box via API. Later on, when users want to view the file, we ask the Box API for an iframe URL and embed it in our app. So, in the end, no one is logged in to any box applications, because we use the API under the hood.

Have Box Notes Accessed via Drive Open in Box Notes Desktop Application
Right now, when a user opens a Box Note from Drive on their desktop, the note is opened in the webapp, rather than the Box Notes desktop app they have installed.
A better flow would be to have those notes open in the Notes desktop app instead

Add ability for users to open a folder in Box Drive from the Web App
Add some kind of "open in Box Drive" option for a folder. Clicking this would cause Box Drive to open the appropriate folder locally.

Assign task to groups
We would like to be able to assign task to specific groups. I.e. asking a whole team to acknowledge that they have seen a specific document.

Automated Email Notifications Based on Metadata Values
Provide the ability to set automated email notifications based on values entered into folder/file metadata.
For example, 'send a reminder email to X people X days prior to the date entered in the 'lease expiration' metadata field on a file.

Notification(s) for Box Notes
In the "Inbox" of Box Notes, any Note that gets updated by someone is conveniently displayed at the top. While this feature is helpful, it can also be bothersome because Notes that I no longer need to see keep appearing at the top of my screen every time someone opens them. Additionally, I’d like to be able to turn off unread notifications for Notes that aren’t relevant to me.
It would be helpful to have a setting that allows users to turn update/unread notifications ON or OFF for each Note individually.
Box Notesの「Inbox」で表示されるBox Notesは、誰かに更新されるたびに分かりやすく一番上に更新されたNoteが表示されます。この機能は便利ですが、もう見る必要がないNoteも誰かが開くたび、自分の画面のトップに表示され続けるため煩わしいです。また、未読通知も自分にとって必要ないものはOFFにしたいです。
ユーザー自身でNoteごとに更新通知/未読通知をON/OFFできる設定があると便利です。

Tansfer Form Ownership
I would like the ability to transfer forms to other users. Reasons below:
If employees are going on extended leave or parental leave and someone else is in charge of managing these forms.
If initial set up is completed by an admin but then continually managed by another team.
I am told form ownership transferring will be available only on deletion of a user account in a future release but would like it to not be reliant on the deletion of a user.

We would like to have a clear indication of whether a file request link has been issued for a folder.
Currently, it's not immediately clear whether a folder has a file request issued.
We would like to have an icon display, similar to a shared link icon, so that it is visually clear when viewing the folder that a file request link has been issued.

Restricted export of content insight reports by non-administrative users.
There is a function to export Content Insights access statistics, but if you restrict content creation and prohibit the creation of first-level folders, you will not be able to export it.
