360 image should rotate in opposite direction when dragged on preview page
The viewpoint moves to the right side of the image when we click&hold cursor and move it to the right.
However, other services like Google Street View, the movements are opposite.1 vote -
Expose ability to restore versions of files via API
It would be beneficial to expose this information via API when interacting with file versions to enable this for App Users via a portal

Updated "Modified By" when restoring version of a file
The “Modified By” field doesn’t update when an old version is promoted – but the “Modified Date” field does. If one field updates, both should. If we are using the file’s metadata for one field, we should use this for both.

Direct DICOM upload endpoint desired
Our admin would rather not use the DICOM import tool to upload DICOM images to use with the Viewer (and they don't have a PAC server). We're also uploading non-DICOM files that are relevant to the study, so having two separate UIs for an upload is inconvenient.

Add Support on Adobe Links Files
Creative teams leverage this the most when they are cross-linking between Adobe files into a master file to consolidate auto-updating and auto-pulling of all the assets coming from all the different files.

Viewers Bulk Downloading with Watermarking Enabled
Enterprise is providing Viewer access level to multiple external users for a folder containing files that require bulk download option.
The bulk download option is not available to internal or external users when the Watermarking feature is enabled for that folder and users have 'Viewer' access.

Enable download of watermarked file via public shared link.
We want to be able to distribute watermarked files via public shared link. It's confusing for end users, as well, since the Shared Link settings for allow download is not grayed out when the file is "watermarked".

Unsync or Delete from Box notification.
Our admin believes having the pop up appear before the scan would reduce mistakes. If there is a large folder sync'd the pop up occurs after it has scanned the folder which can take a few minutes.
Users continue with their work and when the pop up eventually appears they are making mistakes as they do not read it and clock dismiss.

Add a safe guard/warning for items deleted in local Box Sync folder noting they will also be removed from the Web App
Currently dragging items out or deleting them from the Box Sync folder removes them in the cloud. To my knowledge, there is a warning window when deleting collaborated content, but none for personal content. Please add this.

Always Unsync option for Box Sync
Add an "Always Unsync" option to the pop-up window that displays when attempting to delete or unsync a collaborated folder owned by another person from within box Sync

The ability to schedule when Sync updates files/folders
Our user would like to be able to sync content only when they need to, to reduce their memory usage throughout the day when they are working.

Report on Sync Errors
Our admin would like to report on sync errors, e.g. user receiving error, date of error, type of machine - Windows vs. Mac, OS X 10.11.4 vs 10.11.6, etc.).
This will allow us to troubleshoot and hone in on issues that may be specific to certain environments, monitor trends in issues, recommend best practices

Shared Link Stats after link disabled
Stats for the shared link persist after the link is removed. It would be valuable to know who has access that link even after you remove it from the file. Use case would be for audit purposes.

Keep PDF searchable, bar downloading
The ability to share a file or folder with an external party, and let it be searchable (ctrl-f), but not able to be copied or downloadable. Watermarking would solve for the copying, but the ability to ctrl-f and download appear to be inextricably linked.

Better way to manage and view collaborators added to a single file
There is no good way to manage people who have access to a single file through SFC (the ability to invite a collaborator to a single file). Users need to click to ...> share > manage collab to see who has access.
It would be helpful to have a "sharing" tab along with details on a file level, since the release of SFC. There's also no way to run reports on which files have external collaborators through SFC.

If a user invites a collaborator, that they receive an error message if that email does not exist.
Right now, if a user invites someone using an email that does not exist, it just remains in pending.

Schedule files to automatically transfer from one box folder to another at a designated time
We would like to have the ability to have our Box files automatically transfer from one Box folder to another at a designated time. This is a critical business need for our internal marketing and tech teams.
Additionally, this is relevant to our consultant data that is proofed, authorized and then moved over to the folder that is synced with the proprietary business app searchable by the consultants.
