Automated File renaming (at scale) - Programmatic creation of workflows
When a file is moved to any folder called “#Archive”, the file should be renamed with a prefix of “OLD_”
For example: I have a file called “mywordfile.docx” I now want to archive this file, so I drag it into a folder call “#Archive”. Box Automation should then rename my file to “OLD_mywordfille.docx”
Problem statement
The box automation trigger “when file moved to folder” requires an explicit folder path. Meaning I would need to configure a rule per “#Archive” folder within our folder structure. We have many. So, manually setting up relay for every single #Archive folder is not a…6 votes -
Create Relay for User Onboarding/Offboarding
I don't see Relay as a category option.....
Note, my users aren't owners of their data. They are only editors.
I have Azure AD user provisioning enabled to create and update users. As part of the user onboarding process, I would like for Relay to be able to see when:
a user has been created > create a personal folder for that user in a business unit related directory > share folder with user
a user has been disabled > move personal folder to an archived folder directory (related to their business unit)

Enable linking of Google slides and spreadsheets between Google slide presentations and spreadsheet workbooks so source updates cascade.
Enable native Google functionality that exists between their products and allows the linking of content such as slides and spreadsheets between different G-suite presentations and workbooks. This allows updates made to source slides and spreadsheets to cascade down into other locations where they've been linked, avoiding the need to perform manual updates to the different instances of the slide or spreadsheet. Very useful when similar slides are being used between different decks.

Upgrade Search capability to be included on Fedramp High BOX Accounts
It would be ideal to keep all of the power of search capability with the BOX Fedramp high accounts. You currently lose the search capability of searching within the first 1000 words in a document when you upgrade your account to Fedramp High.
If there is a way to update the search capability for those fedramp high accounts to have encrypted search for the first 1000 words that would be ideal. It is one of the better features in the BOX system.

Add information about deleting tasks to the User Activity Report
If a task is accidentally deleted, the current User Activity Report can't see who deleted what task and when.
There is currently no way to check if the deleted task was really unnecessary.
We would like to see more items related to the task function in the User Activity Report so that administrators can see who deleted what tasks and when.【タスクの削除に関する情報をユーザーアクティビティレポートに追加する】

Notify user immediately when a file is updated or uploaded.
We would like the functions or API commands to notify user immediately when a file on the Box is updated or uploaded.
We would like to be able to trigger the next process on file updates, so we would like the ability to be notified each time an update is made, rather than a periodic notification.4 votes -
Disabling shared links after the link is viewed
Currently there is the option have the shared link expire on a specific date. It would be beneficial to also have a shared link be disabled as soon as it is viewed. Having a link that's "one-time use only" would be ideal in various use cases like sharing sensitive information.
Having this also be the case for invited external parties would be helpful.

internal collaboration
Add a "Internal Collaboration Restriction" option for Box shield access policy. My company uses file classifications that are intended to inform users so that they know to restrict sharing of files to only those who need to know. It would be great to use the justification feature that already exists in the External collaboration restriction but within our domain.

Ability to customize/configure the location of the shortcut to Box Drive folder on Windows.
We would like to have the ability to customize the location of the shortcut to Box Drive folder on Windows or to disable its creation.
Right now, the creation of the shortcut cannot be disabled or customized (just as the cache location cannot be customised), and it's always created under c:\users\username\desktop. This is not ideal for users who are not allowed access to userprofile folder.4 votes -
Deleting all active shared links in bulk
I want to delete all the active shared links within our Company but the only way to do this is sending a report to each user for them to do themselves. As admin I would like to be able to do this every for example 3 months. This would help keep information secure by not having lots of shared links that have been forgotten about active,

Box Shield Delete Restriction Security Control
Adding an additional Shield security control to restrict the ability of Editors to send content to Trash would be a great way to fill the gap between Viewer Uploader and Editor permissions. One of the primary use cases for Viewer Uploader is the ability to collaborate on content without being able to delete that content but in its current state, Viewer Uploaders are also restricted from other important collaborative features like inviting collaborators.

Center a text field in Box Sign
Currently, text fields in Box Sign are all left-justified. Please add an option to allow text to be centered or right-justified within the text field.
Example, we have a field that is in the page heading that is centered. But if the text entered is shorter than the field size, it gets left-justified and doesn't align in the center with the other header lines.

Permit template users to send a document to themselves for signature
I have a Box Sign template, and I am one of the ones who needs to sign the document. This isn't possible at present -- a document made from a template can only be sent to someone else (see Case #2952790).

Setting a Due Date for Tasks
I noticed that when assigning a due date to a task, the person does not receive the task on the actual due date. They receive a reminder email the day before and then an overdue email on the day after. However, there is nothing they get on the actual due date so it would be nice to have the task sent to the person on the actual due date.
