About the folder named "Capture Uploads" being forced to create in the "All Files" hierarchy
phenomenon:
When the user first uses continuous capture mode
Box's design default settings force a folder named "Capture Upload" to be created in the "All Files" hierarchy, and even if the specified upload folder is changed in advance, "Here is this You do not have permission to create folders." is displayed.
*According to our operational rules, it is necessary to restrict the creation and saving of folders directly under "All Files"In order to eliminate the error message, it seems that it is necessary to manually delete the error item generated by default once.

Preserve File's Metadata after sending it for a signature
Currently, the signed document is created as an new file object so that all the metadata info like comments or task will be gone after signing. We would like to have the ability to keep the info even after signing.

Artwork filing system
Hi. It would be great if your folder system allowed you to put a preview image on the skin of the folder so you could indicate visually what is inside the folder rather than just showing the standard folder image and the word "LOGO" for example. The folder skin could show a preview of the LOGO that is contained inside the folder.
It would be better if you could decide what the image was that it showed, rather than it randomly selecting something that was in the folder though.1 vote -

It would be nice to be able to view videos in standard video formats natively within box for team training and information purposes.

Email notification to include name of person signing
Looking for an option where the email notification includes the name of the signee from your signature requests.
This would make it easier to search in our emails rather than having to click the link to see who signed the documents, which wastes time and makes it a lot harder to track.

Date and Time of uploading file on BOX
Hi! I was faced with the problem of file date uploading on display on BOX.
I know that usually, BOX shows "Today" or "Yesterday" if the file was uploaded to BOX today or yesterday. It's clear, but, I need to see the exact date displayed with numbers. For example, I want to see that the file was uploaded to BOX "18 of May, 2022" instead of "Today".
Moreover, I even can't see the time when the file was uploaded to BOX. I work with the client in different time zones (the difference is 10 hrs) and sometimes it is really important to know the time uploading of the file, but unfortunately currently it is really confusing on BOX.
So I have two questions:
1. Is there any way to customize the date format (how always see the date instead of "today"/"yesterday"?
2. How to see the exact time of uploading? (it is even preferable to see the timezone name to be sure when it was uploaded or at least have tools to be sure with this)Thank you.

Prevent desktop box folder deletion
Please create a way to globally disable users the ability to delete folders from their desktop with Box Drive.
They are under the impression that if they hit "delete" on the folders they are removed from the Projects. This in turn has caused a lot of chaos from team members deleting the entire Project folders instead of going to the Box website and revoking their permissions.
No amount of training we try do it can solve this with a company our size.
Team members are deleting terabytes of data and it's exhausting trying to recover all this data.

Request for enlargement ratio when browsing files
- Thin line in a file disappear, when we reduce file's rate of magnification and display whole file on screen. So, we would like you to consider measures.
- When the rate of magnification bar and title bar overlie on the file,we can’t see the characters and figures in the file. So, we need a function to erase these bars temporarily.
- The default file's rate of magnification is 200%, when we browse a file. The file's rate of magnification can change in 25% increments now. But our customer would like to change more finely.(in 1% increments,if it’s possible.)

I do have cases that I want to view the files I uploaded recently. However, if I uploaded a file without previewing, it doesn't come up the list.

Improve Box Relay Trigger "A Scheduled Event"
Recommend additional options for repetitive scheduled event triggers. Specifically, the option to repeat monthly on days of the month other than first or last, and to repeat every X months and/or weeks, would be extremely useful for automating assignment and tracking of repetitive tasks.

Box Web Sort (NAME and UPDATED) should INCLUDE Bookmarks
Currently, sorting the content of a Box folder sorts the content for all but Bookmarks, then shows sorted Bookmarks below the other content - this happens for Sort by NAME and Sort by UPDATED.
Users might reasonably expect that subfolders might be sorted first, and all other documents and bookmarks be sorted secondly - similarly to Windows File Explorer (which does this, where shortcuts are treated as documents and sorted along with other documents)
I believe the reason that this may be happening is that [Mssrs Box] has omitted to record any modification made to bookmarks (yes, the name of a bookmark can be amended, therefore that modified date should be recorded in the bookmark's details/properties)
It should therefore be either a) possible to have a user-level setting that enables any sorts to include all document types (including/excluding selectable filetypes), or b) Box records the modified date for bookmarks, and then allows the Sort by NAME and Sort by UPDATED to treat all filetypes the same and give 'one' result

Use Box Group as a Signer of Box Sign and only one user from it needs to sign
I would like to use Box Group as a signer of Box Sign.
In addition, I only need one user from that group to sign it.The use case we have is when someone from a specific department needs to approve the document but it can be approved by anyone from that department.
This is something we can do with Task now and I would like to do it with Sign too.9 votesRefer to existing recipient group feature however they do not work with Box Group. Read more in Box Sign support article.

Box Skills triggers for shared links and collaborators
Currently webhooks support shared link and collaborators event triggers. Webhook v1 can be set at org level but does not work. Webhook v2 cannot be set at org level.
As Box Skills is the recommended webhooks for 3rd party CASB providers over Webhooks v1 or v2.

Specification for uploading Outlook attachments to Box in the Box app (Box: The Content Cloud: 5.13.0)
When saving Outlook email attachments via the Box app (Box: The Content Cloud: 5.13.0) on a smartphone, I would like to be able to register a folder other than "All files" on the destination selection screen.
It is time-consuming to select a folder by going down the hierarchy from the root (all files) each time when selecting a destination, Please make it possible to add any folder to the destination selection screen, such as favorites.

Restriction of the link icon for specific folders
There have been cases of employees accidentally clicking the link icon for "Create and copy a shared link" while working on the web site.
In order to prevent such cases, is it possible to implement a function to enable or disable the link icon for specific folders on Box?

Admin, content owner, and/or content co-owners can lock folders in the native UI so that they can't be moved.
Make Owner/Co-Owner folder lock available in native web interface. It's really bad if a folder that shouldn't be moved gets moved by an Editor. Right now, this is only available via API https://developer.box.com/reference/post-folder-locks/

file or fold path link missing
We have multiple folders for each project. And navigating up and down the file tree is something I use often. how do i navigate back up?!?! the most recent update removed the folder path
