I want to change the icon of the Box group.
I want to change the icon of the Box group.
Currently, it is not possible to change the icon of a group.
However, for the following reasons, we would like to be able to change the icon so that we can identify the group in the collaboration list.・To identify special groups used by system administrators.
・In order to avoid confusion among users, it is necessary to be able to identify the system administrator at a glance.【
3 votes -
invite sharing - save message
When a collaboration invite has been accepted, the "<User> has accepted your invite" message should include the original invite message.
This will remind me why I shared the file with the user and what the user was asked to do with this file.

Open Box Drive in full screen mode
1 - Box Drive Icon on the Task Bar should Open the Box Drive Search Tool, not the Bod Drive Folder in Windows Explorer.
2 - The Box Drive application should open up on full-screen view, with the BOX Folders on the left (as in Windows Explorer) - With the Box Search Tool on the right. This will go a VERY LONG way to help new users to "get comfortable with" / transition to BOX!

Shared Link Unavailable Prompt
User believes that current 'shared link has been removed or is unavailable to you' page could be confusing to users that have access but are not logged in, and that the messaging should include a prompt to log in if user believes they have reached the page in error.

Mark comments as resolved
Love the direct comments/annoations on the file because, when I'm providing feedback, I can circle where I'm referring to and then insert my comment. But when the owner makes the change, the comment is still on the slide. Owners should be able to mark the comment as resolved which hides the comment.

Max_Upload_Size Field Needs a Box CLI Switch for User Record Updating
Each user now has the maxuploadsize field in their user record, which designates the largest single file size that a user can upload. This setting can be viewed in the user's profile in the WebUI and is set as an Enterprise level setting.
Just as the user's spaceamount (their quota) can be set via the Box CLI, using the --disk-space switch when updating a user's record, there is a need to be able to access a switch to set maxupload_size when updating individual user records via the Box CLI.

Add file path to macOS Box Drive search function
Since macOS Finder will not search Box Drive by filename correctly, the only real way to search for files is using Box Drives built-in search function. This will successfully find a file, but it does not show you the path in the folder tree. Could you please add the containing folder and path in the search results box? Ideally the user would also be able to open a finder window directly to that containing folder directly from a click in the search results box.
Thanks!

Allow Folder Actions on "the folder of the file that triggered the flow"
When trying to build dynamic workflows, you currently can work with and get a handle on either:
- Folders can triggered the flow
- Files that triggered the flow
- Folders/Files created/copied from previous stages
There are workflows, however, where you have a trigger on the file(s) but you want to move that entire folder to progress the flow.
A "the folder of the file that triggered the flow" handle would be helpful in this scenario to allow you start a workflow, either through a file action or a manual start...assign tasks to that file and then be able to get a handle on this file's parent folder to be able to perform folder actions on it (especially "move" folder). This way you can easily group files together and move them through the workflow....while at the same time set file actions on the original file that triggered the flow.

time zone
All timestamp info associated with a file (such as that shown under File Information and Access Stats) should display the applicable time zone.

Microsoft Teams iOS app does not open the specific Box folder.
We're having an issue with Microsoft Teams app on iPhone - Box files plug-in within More tab. It is very possible that this Box Files button in Teams is not designed to link to the specific channel Box folder we have chosen, and instead is designed to redirect us to the All Files page "https://account.box.com/folder/0". On Windows PC, Teams app opens the the specific channel Box folder we have chosen.

Move or copy to multiple folders
I would like to be able to Move or Copy a group of files to multiple folders in one click. It seemed when you added the radio buttons, that might be possible to select multiple destinations. Alas no.

Retain annotations in subsequent version(s) of a document
We use annotations when a group of us is proofing and suggesting edits to a document. When we're finished, when the designer makes our edits to the document, and then uploads a new version. Unfortunately, once the new version is uploaded, unlike general comments, the annotations are gone so we can't check in our changes. It would be great if you could make it possible to view annotations from the previous version of a document. Right now, the only workaround is to avoid using annotations, or to open the previous version of the document in a separate browser window and compare the windows side by side. Thanks!

I want you to make the preview of Excel easier to see
Excel is hard to see the preview.
The page is split unnaturally.
For example, in the case of Google Sheets, it looks the same whether it is Read Only or editable.
In the same way, I want you to improve it so that it looks the same regardless of whether it is Read Only or edit OK.エクセルがプレビューが見にくい。

Shield classification - Admin console visibility and user reporting
1) "Whenever any user tries to apply the classification, Box console is not able to tell the owner which users would be affected due to this."
2) "As well as while adding external users for collaboration on a classified folder where external users have this limitation, It would be great if the console can let the owner know about it, Otherwise he would think all should work but in actual it's just not enough, He has to whitelist the external domain under classification."

Adds the ability to hide the notifications that appear when you open an auto-locked file on a box drive for all tenant users.
Tenants that automatically lock files in Box Drive will be notified that when another user opens a file that is already open from Box Drive, the file will be locked and opened in read-only mode.
Add the ability to hide this notification for the entire tenant.2 votes -
Improve to view the status of tasks
As users are currently able to view by icons whether or not shared link is on files and files are locked at a glance in the "file list" view, we would like to view if tasks are done or not at a glance

We need the function to upload files via drag and drop or file dialogs on the folder page on ContenExplorer. (without ContentUploader)

Add ability to set time for reminder notifications by each user or admin.
Currently assignee will receive reminder notification 24 hours before the due date of the assigned task. Users are receiving these reminders at mid of night and they want to receive them in daytime.
Box Relay can set the default due ("time to complete" option) like how many days and hours.
This default due is set automatically based on when the task is started. So for many cases, the reminder will be sent out because the task is started in daytime. But non-Relay task (General and Approval task) can set only due date from calendar picker, like "June 16". The due is set automatically 23:59 at the date. (23:59 June 16)
It causes that users receive these reminders in mid night and some users will be pinged from their mobile device. To avoid this inconvenience, please add ability to set time as user like or enterprise wide.

Knowledge Base
It would be amazing if there was a way to have something like box notes or an add on that would allow an article based knowledgebase within box. This would be so helpful for a company wide and public kb in the product that we are using day to day.

I want to use BOX instead of PPAP. PPAP is Japanese bad protocol name that file transfer with email.
Before, most Japanese company used PPAP to send files with email. PPAP is a jargon that protocol name in JAPAN. PPAP is an idea of "Sending crypted zip file with email and sending password of zip with next email".
Japanese company used the idea for security. But it didn't work well for security because of using same root sending crypted zip file and password.
So our Japanese company want to use BOX instead of PPAP. This idea is not collaborating function of BOX. The idea is "Sending files (or folder) URL of BOX to BOX users". When receiver want to download from the files URL, they have to login with BOX. So sender doesn’t need to send password on email anymore. For now, using collaborator function is too expensive to just sending files. The idea is very little, but most of the Japanese company would start considering to use BOX which have this function. Before, most Japanese company used PPAP to send files with email.
