Apply DocuSign account settings
When using the DocuSign integration, account settings such as reminders settings or attaching the envelope completion summary (or upload onto Box) do not apply as they would if a user sends an envelope by logging into the DocuSign web app. Additionally, the interface when using the integration differs from the standard DocuSign interface.

Box-Netsuite Bundle
For the Netsuite/Box bundle, it would be better to not require the user to choose whether to create a Box folder or use the default on each folder. This should be a setting that the administrator can choose.

Add 'Only I Sign' Adobe Sign Feature
Add the 'Only I Sign' feature in Adobe Sign, where only they sign a document. Currently this only works if they download it from Box and then re-upload it into Adobe's workflow, but they want to keep all of their users working in Box only. They also have lots of documents that only need the signature of one person.

Collapse sidebar on right hand side (Activity / Details / Metadata) by default
Give users ability to decide at either account or folder settings level whether content opens up in full screen (i.e. marketing video etc) with the side bar on right hand side collapsed by default.
They can then click if they want to open the sidebar to check on Activity / Details / Metadata

Add column for Modified date, and allow sorting on it.
It would be really handy to be able to add a column for and sort based on "Modified date" field. Currently the "Updated" column is not useful if you are doing content migrations from outside sources. While the files maintain the "modified date", they get an "Updated date" of the day it was migrated.
We are considering migrating our existing LAN contents to Box. Our users frequently need to sort on last modified date. We are uploading all data to Box and retaining the original date stamps where possible. Sorting is key.

Provide enterprise configuration of folder metadata cascade
- Provide an enterprise configuration option that would allow viewing/editing/adding folder level metadata without also enabling the ability to cascade metadata.
- Provide an enterprise configuration option that would limit the ability to initiate cascading metadata to owners and co-owners.
- Provide an enterprise configuration option that would limit the ability of a template to be cascaded.

Self CC
When emailing a BOX item to another user, many of our users like to also add themselves in the recipient list. Used to be that your own, personal email would populate within the drop-down, predictive list, and now it no longer seems to. More a quality of life change, but we've heard many times that users would like to see their own email populate in this list, again.

Link to searchable files on a website.
Want a public facing search function that can be deployed on websites with Box as the back end.
Use Case: I have several hundred newsletters in an archive in PDF format. I want a public facing link or window that the public can see without having to login into Box.
The Box embed widget gives me a window BUT is not a good user experience. They don't need to be dragging one cloud onto another or logging into box.
Box is great for storing and updating these files--but not for a public facing display.1 vote -

Make login screen text easier to edit
In the admin console, there's a "Login Page" section, where it's possible to set a message that appears for all users on the Box login page. Currently, editing/formatting that message requires both access to the admin console, a knowledge of HTML, and an understanding of which HTML tags are and are not valid in that message.
As the information posted as a part of that message is often something that comes from communications staff, not technical staff, those barriers to editing it are significant. It would be nice if there was both a way to delegate the editing of that message to another user, as well as a WYSIWYG editor for it.
As one idea, if there was a BoxNote that could be the source of that message, that would work well.

Add metadata to search results in web app
Currently in the "search results" view in the web app, it is difficult to identify if an item is returned in the search result due to matching metadata. By adding matching metadata which triggered a "positive" search result to the list of search results, it will help guide the user to the correct search result. Without the matching metadata in the search results view, the metadata search query matching and filter functionality is not very useful, as users cannot tell the exact context that resulted in the search result matching. This results in users having to open all search results in new tabs, checking the item's metadata for a "good match", and then navigating back to the search results view to continue paginating through the search results.

I want Japanese mark of a voiced sound in speech characters to be unified with NFC.
I want Japanese mark of a voiced sound in speech characters to be unified with NFC.
-Overview-
example: the 'ga' syllabary series in the Japanese alphabet
'ガ'is U+30AC on windows or unix/linux
-> NFC(Normalization Form Canonical Compression)
'ガ'is U+30AB U+3099U on mac OSX
-> NFD(Normalization Form Canonical Decompression)As you know, mac OSX use only NFD.
Windows use NFC usually, but NFD can be used at the same time. When trying to share BOX folder between Win and mac, Inconvenience occurs.
-problem-
First
In Windows explorer, NFC and NFD are displayed as the same character on the screen, so they are indistinguishable. The second
In Adobe InDesign, image files are managed as "link files", but file names are managed by NFC, so upload InDesign data created on mac OS to the shared BOX folder and download it on Windows. Cutting file link will occur. The third
Where NFC uses one character in UTF-8, NFD uses two characters in UTF-8.
The file "がぎぐげござじずぜぞだぢづでどばびぶべぼぱぴぷぺぽガギグゲゴザジズゼゾダヂヅデドバビブベボパピプペポヴ.txt" can be used on macOSX, but this file cannot be saved on the BOX server by Finder using BOX Drive.
Even if two characters are used, "xx.txt" uses only 106 characters.
And from Windows PC,
The file "がぎぐげござじずぜぞだぢづでどばびぶべぼぱぴぷぺぽガギグゲゴザジズゼゾダヂヅデドバビブベボパピプペポヴ.txt" (By NFC) there will be no problem with BOX Drive.
But, with macOS X / Box Drive, the inside of the BOX server is not displayed in the Finder.
"がぎぐげござじずぜぞだぢづでどばびぶべぼぱぴぷぺぽガギグゲゴザジズゼゾダヂヅデドバビブベボパピプペポヴ.txt"(By NFC) uses only 55 characters in NFC.
Are you having another problem?-Operation on mac OSX-
When writing to a FAT32 formatted USB memory device on mac OSX, write the file name using NFC.When uploading data to a shared folder using the cifs protocol on mac OSX, write the file name in NFC format.
When uploading data to a shared folder using the AFP protocol on mac OSX, write the file name in NFC format.
On mac OSX, write file name in NFD format only when writing data to HFS+ format HDD.
mac OSX does not accept any NFC on HFS+, and NFC automatically converts to NFD when downloading data from the BOX server.
-Proposal-
When writing data to the BOX server using BOX Drive for MacOS, please convert it to NFC instead of NFD and write the data. When uploading to the BOX server, no one will be troubled even if it is converted to NFC instead of NFD and saved. Inconvenience has occurred rather than being saved as NFD.

ガギグゲゴ
ザジズゼゾ

Set Box Drive as a Default Save Location in Windows
With box Sync we could set Box locations as default save locations. Apparently that isn't currently available with Box Drive... this would be a great feature if possible!!
