Items to be included in "GxP_Release_Notes 【日本語】 「GxP_Release_Notes」に掲載いただきたい事項につい
GxP option is enabled.
For validation purposes, change management of features released in Box must be done quarterly.
Specifically, new features to be released to Box are checked in advance, and features that are undesirable to be applied are set to be unavailable.Currently, "GxPReleaseNotes" lists the features that will be released to Box.
However, it does not state whether the feature can be enabled or disabled in the management console.
It also does not state at what point (version) what features will be added.Therefore, you will need to read through all of Box's release notes and update pages, comparing them to each other.
We believe that the information available on the Web is not comprehensive because it is function-specific pages and is not suitable as evidence for change management.
This process also takes considerable time and man-hours.Please provide the following information in "GxPReleaseNotes".
・Information on whether or not the feature is configurable on the management console
・Detailed information on what features will be added at what point (version)【日本語】

Google Spreadsheet timeline
There was a problem with the Google Spreadsheet timeline.
For certain users, the Google Spreadsheet timeline is not displayed on the BOX and cannot be used. Available to other users. You can edit Google Spreadsheet timelines created by other users.
Please allow specific users to use the Google Sheets timeline.

We would like to see the user name added to the search for workflows in BoxRelay in the admin console as a search target.
We would like to see the user name added to the search for workflows in BoxRelay in the admin console as a search target.
Currently, only the workflow name can be searched in the search window in the workflow list of the Management Console.
When an administrator disables a user's workflow from the management console, It is very difficult to pick up the target user because the workflow can only be searched by workflow name.

We need to confirm detailed information about the contract from the admin console. For example, contract period, Number of API Call(Platform), Monthly Active User(Platform).

More possibilities regarding session timeout
We find that the session timeout possibilities are somewhat limited. The jump from 2 days to 14 days is quite big - 2 days would log everyone out during each weekend, and would result in support tickets and 14 days are quite many. Something like 4 days inbetween would be great.

The ability to control deletion and restoration from the Recycle Bin.
I would like to see the ability to control the deletion and restoration of items from the Recycle Bin by user/group in the Enterprise Settings for Content and Sharing.
Currently, when a free user is added to a tenant, the user added can delete and restore items that they own.

Ability to select users outside the tenant in the user filter of the user activity report.
Currently, when retrieving activities of non-tenant users, it is necessary to output all without filtering and then select the target data in Grep.
Our tenants have a large number of users, and if all the data were to be output, it would be a huge amount of data, and the above process would take a lot of time.

These notifications are currently enabled on enabled on Enterprise level (Enterprise ID 143896) and cannot be modified on individual Box account user level. Users are complaining about having their inbox swamped with notification warnings that collaborations are about to end/expired
We would like to offer individual managed users the option to turn off notification warnings that a collaboration is about to end/expire on individual Box account user level. .

File Activity Dashboard Feature
Would love to generate a dashboard for users to access where they could see file activity listed out visually similar to how you can see it in the file by file method (link below), only in a more encompassing manner that includes multiple files in specific folders. The user reports generated aren’t very intuitive & doesn’t allow for a high level view of which assets are being engaged with the most at a quick glance.

Shared links auto-expiration exception for specific folders
Currently, the auto-expiration policy for shared links applies to all folders and files. For shared links on folders, it would be great if we could prevent specific folders from expiring (similar to custom notifications settings on specific folders).
We have a couple of folders that are synced and shared using public links and shouldn't expire.3 votes -

Fix custom logo resolution & display issues
Presently there are two main issues that Box needs to fix with the way it displays custom company logos:
Custom logos display at an extremely low resolution. It's 2023 and our company's logo looks blurry and very bad on most screens. Logos used in the Box Sign branding are crisp and high resolution and look great. This is not the case for logos used within the standard Box file management platform though. Please fix this.
Right now Box has the option to upload 2 different versions of your company logo. One for use on a white background and one for use on your 'brand color' background. This is great, but due to a bug I have been reporting for years, Box in certain cases will display the wrong logo version. For example, on a shared public link to a file (not a folder), it has a white banner at the top of the screen and it displays the "logo for use on brand color" instead of the correct "logo for use on white." This is just a bug that needs to be fixed.
In short, please fix the way that custom company logos display in Box. Our clients are interacting with our files and it is important that our brand is represented in a way that looks professional and displays our logo correctly.

現状、理由を記載する箇所がないため別途コメントのメンションやメールにて連絡する必要があり二度手間となっているためIf Relay rejects an approval request, please add a comment field to write the reason.

Invitation of collaborators by list
Currently, Box has a small screen for inviting collaborators, and invitations must be made on a per-privilege basis. So there are some mistakes of invitations by users.

Enhanced Auto Classification and File Criteria for All File Types in Box
We would like to have the ability to specify all file types in the file criteria for auto classification. Since there is currently no way to cascade classifications to all files excluding folders (categorizing confidential info on a file-by-file basis), I would like a feature where all files can be classified.
With the current individual extension specifications, it is not possible to use wildcard characters, so we would like to reduce the potential for information leakage due to intentional extension changes.

different versioning rules according to location
It would be very helpful to have different versioning rules according to locations. For instance, in a specific folder you could have 10 versions of a file and in other folders 50.

Box Relay - add action for shared link
There are certain levels of folders that should not have a shared link set. Box Relay would be a good solution to monitor if a shared link was created on a folder, but this option doesn't exist in the list of folder actions.

From a folder management perspective, we do not want end users to be able to create new folders, delete folders, or rename folders at all in all hierarchies, with the goal of preventing end user misoperation with folders.
Currently, all folders are created by the administrator, but since end users can also create, rename, and delete folders, we are concerned that in the future, as Box is used, there will be more folders that the administrator cannot detect, which will confuse all end users. We would like to prohibit all of them.However, we want to allow end users to create, rename, delete, and edit files, so we need to grant editor privileges to end users.
Please implement the ability to prohibit folder operations by users with editor privileges.

Shield Malware Threat Detection False Positives on Excel Documents with Macros
Multiplan (160k ARR) turned on Malware Deep Scan and was getting 3-5 false positives per day because users across multiple departments often work on Excel Documents with Macros. Due to their process, users need to upload new versions of these Excel documents daily (they cannot use Version Control to handle this). So the IT team is being pinged every time a new version is added. This has been so overwhelming that the IT team has turned off Malware Detection. They will enable again if Macros are not accidentally flagged as potentially malicious.
