People who reassign should still receive emails about that document
My workflow requires me to send documents on to agents, who review documents before sending on to their clients to sign (via 'reassign').
After reassigning, the agent no longer receives information about the document. This seems counterintuitive, and isn't in line with other online document signature services. I can't think of a reason why you would need to be removed from the email chain like this. If you no longer need to know about the document, you can simply ignore the final email about its completion, but if you do, currently you would have to rely on someone still in the chain to email it to you somehow, by downloading/forwarding, etc.
If there's a legitimate reason to remove yourself from the chain like this, it should be an option at the point of 'reassign' - a checkbox to 'Stop receiving emails regarding this document' or similar, and the default should be to stay in the chain.
Thanks,

User Interface Experience in Reporting.
- When generating a report through Admin Console, you have to manually search for the folder list and often get too many queries and takes too long. It would be a better experience to be prompted with the root directory that you can just drill down to which folder you want to report on in addition to the search functionality.
- When creating a scheduled report, the interface is a bit confusing because you have to hit Schedule Report, then hit schedule again, this should be a once step process and is confusing to most users, additionally the schedule button have a gray outline and seems it's a non-functioning button, at the very least, it should be a blue outline like the other buttons.

Relay Manual Start Trigger in Embed Widget
You can not run a relay Manual Start triggered workflow from the embed widget. Since this widget is also used by Salesforce Managed Package integration, this affects that. Crowdstrike has a pretty simple workflow that they want to do from within the embed client using the manual start trigger, but can't because it's not exposed there. They can start it directly in Box, but that's not desirable as it takes them out of the context of Salesforce.

Good day. Love Box, it's great. A problem I have is that I have set my "Documents" folder to save to Box "C:\Users\CharlevanRooyen\Box\ITSave\Documents" and it save and sync every thing perfect until I restart or shut town my pc. The next time my pc booted up the file location changed to something ells like "C:\Users\CharlevanRooyen\oldBox2\ITSave\Documents" and it no longer save my files to box automatically. Evert time I start up my pc I need to correct the math by right klick on "Documents" on my pc then select "Properties" then select :Location" then select "Move" then select the correct path, Apply and select "Yes" for do you want to move all the files from the old location to the new location. My management want to save all files to Box by default so that the workforce can use the files and save it on Box again by default to prevent files from being deleted. Basically, we want to save our files directly to Box and not on our company computers to prevent files to be deleted by users and for senior management to have full access to all files on all users. We currently have about 20 users.

Add specific users as approvers
To be able to manage Box Signs created within a tenant, I want to ensure that a specific user is always added as an approver to the Signs created by users in the target group.
For example, in the Enterprise settings, if you specify a specific user for each group, when a user in the group creates a BoxSign, I would like to have the specified user automatically added to the approver field.in Japanese
1 vote -

Box Drive specification improvement request
Box Drive is downloading a large amount of event streams, which can overwhelm company's network bandwidth. Due to the network bandwidth pressure, the business other than Box has been affected, so please take measures.
Here are the details:Box Drive is likely retrieving folder and file events that the logged-in user has access to, but is aware that there may be a large number of event downloads in the following cases, for example:.
・A specific user performs bulk operations on a folder in which many users are collaborating. (All events are downloaded to Box Drives of all collaboration users)In addition, Box Drive receives information on all events that occurred during the stoppage at the next startup of Box Drive, so if you stop your PC at the end of work, all events that occurred during the stoppage will be downloaded when your PC starts up (Box Drive starts up) the next morning.
Because the start time is almost the same for all users, the communication load increases rapidly at that time, causing problems. Due to the problem of this Box Drive, business other than Box has been affected, so please urgently improve it.Box Drive is downloading a large amount of event streams, which can overwhelm company's network bandwidth. Add "Date Received" field to My Requests for Box Sign
Showcase a field in Box Sign when a Box Sign request was received and not just when the document was initially sent.
The current fields are: "Title", "Sent", "Last Updated", "Status"
Ideal state would be: "Title", "Sent", "Received", "Last Updated", "Status"

Content Insight display more than a year
Extend the range to review if a customer has viewed or downloaded a provided document. This is critical for Public Disclosure requests, especially if a customer claims they never received their documents. If we could view farther than 1 year we could see if they actually did view or download when they were initially provided to them. 3 years back would be a good time frame to be able to search.

Allow Custom Terms of Service feature on specific folders/files
Currently, this feature is only allowed at the account level, but if an enterprise account serves multiple internal and external user groups that may require different ToS, the feature becomes useless. Please consider a simple feature to allow custom ToS for specific folders or files. Thanks!

FTP - Root Level Access
When connecting to Box via FTP you are logged into a session that is specific to your user account even if you are the Box administrator. In standard FTP server administration practice you can set which directory a user is dumped into upon login. There should be an administrator level setting that can be enabled to choose at which level the Admin account gets logged into, in this case the FTP root.
Currently when logging into Box FTP via Admin account you are defaulted to \FTP.box.com\Users\Admin and do not have permissions to jump up a directory to \FTP.box.com\Users
You should be able to access \FTP.box.com\Users in order to manage all the accounts you can manage within the Box.com portal, since you are logging in as the Admin account.
Currently the Admin account accessed with Box FTP only acts as a standard user account. This should be something you can enable in the portal with a tick box under FTP settings such as 'Enable root level FTP access' so it is more secured by default but can be enabled when you need to utilize this level of access.
Thank you

Notification that someone you assigned a Task did not complete it by the deadline you set
Often I assign Tasks with deadlines. While the person receiving the task gets notifications that the deadline is approaching, I do not get a notification if they did not complete the Task on time.
This would be extremely helpful to know that Tasks have not been completed so we can follow up.3 votes -
Add a new security level of "Restrict"
I understand the current security levels may once have reflected some technical details e.g. the permissions that might be assigned in a particular file system. However, this could be enhanced by a new security level ("Forbidden", "Excluded", "Restrict" or whatever makes sense) that is applied by exception.
A simple example:
Folder "News" has All Company as viewers.
Group "Contractors" are invited as "Restrict" access.
Whenever any user seeks access e.g. viewing the contents of the folder that contains folder "News", they will of course inherit the permissions from the parent, but before being allowed to see "News" Box first checks if the current user has the "Restrict" permission, if so "News" is excluded from the folder listing, if not then the normal permission behaviour applies.
This check would also need to be done for linking using shared links or object id, since if my intent is to "Restrict" a user's access that should always be checked and always enforced.
