Add “Do something after a certain period of time” option in outcome
Accessing to some of our manual documents is strictly managed and we would like to delete these documents which are not effective anymore after a certain period of time (e.g. 1 day, 1 week, custom lengths etc.). If Relay is capable of this, we can streamline other systems that are currently implemented.

Support for CorelDraw (*.cdr) files as a recognized "image" or "drawing" for search filters. It is most similar to Adobe Illistrator, so perhaps it should be in the same category as *.ai files.

When using canviewpath, the collaborator sees a folder on the screen with no contents that should have been moved to the trash.
This has to do with the collaboration ID.This is because even if you delete an item, the collaboration ID remains and is needed to restore the item.
Although the actual contents cannot be accessed, the fact that the folder can be accessed and the folder name can be confirmed is considered a serious incident by companies with strict security requirements, and an early response is required.

canviewpathを利用している場合に、コラボレータはゴミ箱に移動したはずの中身のないフォルダが画面上に表示されています。
これは、コラボレーションIDが関係しています。アイテムを削除してもコラボレーションIDが残ったままになりアイテム復元時に必要だからです。

Disable all Web App Integrations with selective permit (whitelist)
There are many Web App Integrations and some are "added by default" or are "available". Would like to change this behavior to disabled by default and then selectively enable (whitelist) specific applications.

Take action on user based on Threat Detection Shield Rule
Extending threat detection ALERTS to take action on a user's access would be very valuable. I've heard lots of customers request having a user's account deactivated if they access Box from a suspicious location. Right now, there is not a way to do this through the core Box application, it has to be done through custom scripting or with another tool.

Export input metadata from file upload forms
It would be nice to be able to export a CSV of input metadata during a file upload request.
For example, if I create a metadata template and add those attributes as fields to my file upload form and the uploader inputs their name, email, and other requested details into those fields, I'd like to be able to export the data to a CSV for the folder they uploaded their files to and see columns for each field on the form (including attributes from the metadata template). It would be nice if the export could contain fields on the form that aren't attributes, too (such as Box's suggested fields like email).

How to preserve folder date created & timestamps
Please please please preserve the date created for a folder. When I sync a folder across another laptop, the date created changes as the time of upload. Me, including a hundred other people do not want that. Files seem to have their date created, date modified date & timestamps preserved.
Basically, can you please create a system where the folder properties ARE preserved and as a facet of BOX make other properties separate from windows folder properties so that it's easier for us as local users and business users to sort their data how they want to.
If you can do so with files, do it with folders as well. Other cloud services don't seem to do that with folders so if you guys can do it that puts you in a better position than other cloud service companies

Run Two Box Accounts Box Drive & Box Sync on Same Device (Laptop)
Running two separate Box accounts locally on a laptop. To have Box Drive and Box Sync access locally on a laptop at the same time without any issues.

Add filter function to Event API to limit the result by specifying a path collection
Event API result is a list of all updated files in an "entire" site.
For enterprise use-cases, the volume of this returned data is inevitably very large.
Thus, even if a part of site needs to be monitored, the network bandwidth is consumed unnecessarily and it casues the performance issue.
Could you add a filter function to Event API so that the API returns only events related to the files in the specified path collection?

Request "yml" for preview
"yml" is not supported as text preview while "yaml" is available. It is major extension as YAML file and supporting it will help BOX usability. Hoping quiet soon implementation.

Native to Box Music Player integration
We would like a native-to-Box music player. Formerly, the 'autoplay' function, when enabled on a music file such as MP3, would then cause all the remaining songs in a folder to play through, ie so you could listen through to a full album instead of needing to press 'play' on each track one by one. Now that function is gone. But we'd like to see a better solution in general for listening to music files we own.
We store an archive of music albums for our organization and this would definitely make accessing them more practical. Right now, we have to use a 3rd party provider to send music to juries and external stakeholders. This causes a lot of extra work! Thanks.

Rearrange rows of tables
We use Box Notes for almost every meeting and use tables to display the agenda. Many meetings have set agenda templates but often the presenters or topics will be shifted based on availability.
The ability to rearrange the rows/columns in tables would greatly reduce the amount of time I have to create a blank row/column, then copy/cut each individual cell from the row/column I intended to move to the new blank one.

Folder colors
In Box it is not very easy to see what foders are shared externally. There are small globe icons on the collaborators, but if that list is too long, the external collaborator might not show up.
Apart from that: the list of collaborators is not visible in Box Drive.
Box should introduce a new Folder type (different color, different icon) to show that information in this folder is shared with external collaborators. This functionality should be available across all clients (Web, Drive, Mobile).

Ability to add and remove columns from box note tables from the box app on iPhone
I need to be able to add and remove columns from box note tables from the box app on my iPhone. This feature is currently not available. To add or remove rows and columns from box note tables I have to use a web browser.

Download selected version when preview unavailable
Download currently selected version in main window when preview is unavailable on Box.com
Presently, if the preview is unavailable when reviewing file versions, there is a "Preview is unavailable" message and a "Download" button appears there, but it only downloads the current (latest) version, not the version selected in the side bar.
While the file is available in the side bar with the ellipses, the download button does not indicate that is will only download the latest version, and not the version selected (but not preview able) in the side. This has caused confusion with our employees as our large and complex Word documents often cannot preview in Box.com
We have added the correct download method to our training materials, but this feature would be appreciated.
It would also be of benefit if the selected version showed in the main window when the preview is not available.

View file audit log with "Deleted users" name on files even after users have been removed.
It is not a feature of Box to allow "file audit logs" to persist on files showing a deleted users name as the person who made the changes and currently when you remove a user all the collaborators (non-admins) can see is "user made change" instead of the person's name. Yes, you can pull a file management report, but that is for admins and does not provide the teammates of the file any insight as to who was the person that made this change, nor does it help admins determine it easily either. I would like for the product to incorporate persisting this data on all files, even if a user has been fully removed from the tenant. The change logs should persist indefinitely on a file whether a user is active, inactive, or removed.

Really need a better way for individuals to organize folders on their Box Drive
I see some ideas under consideration, and amazingly adding Collections to Box Drive is not one of them. Box Drive urgently needs a better way for individual users to organize contents without affecting the online heirachy for everyone else

Box report progress bar or indicator
We want to check the progress of a report being output.
At the moment We can only see if it is in progress but it is not possible to see when the report will be output.It can take quite a while for the report to be output, but we don't want to be uncertain about when it will be completed.
This is because we have to regularly check the output of the report, which is time-consuming.It would be nice to be able to see progress as a percentage.

Add "disable for select users" as a Box Drive Mark for Offline option
A global Box customer is looking to disable MFO (Marking for Offline) for a selected users.
This would be a "symmetrical" counter-option to the existing "enable for select users", and also similar to how some other features can be managed within Box Admin Console, making the MFO options more consistent with broader Box experience for admins.2 votes
