enhances audio playback controls
Allow Users to be able to play audio at different speeds within Box. Additionally, have the ability to rewind audio for a certain number of seconds (for example, a 20 second rewind, 30 second rewind, etc.)

Update "Box login from..." email notification
When I access Box from a new browser or device, I get "Box Login from...." email notification from Box.
Within the email body, it said "You can manage your login activity list from the Security tab and your notifications from the Notifications tab of your Account Settings." but there is no "Notifications" tab under user Account settings.
Instead there is a "Sharing" tab under which there is a section for "General Emails and Notifications". Could you please fix the wording with in the email notification body to reflect the correct tab and section. It helps the end users to get…

Bulk-delete comments
we'd like a way for admins to delete old comments for files owned by managed users in bulk rather than one by one for files that have a lot of activity in their side activity panels.

Ability to create custom portal page
We'd like the ability within Box to create a custom portal page that external collaborators could use to view and collaborate on files with us.

Enhance and support the Box Embed Widget for mobile browsers.
We outsource hosting and presenting documents to Box. We allow our users to upload documents in our app and we upload them to Box via API. Later on, when users want to view the file, we ask the Box API for an iframe URL and embed it in our app. So, in the end, no one is logged in to any box applications, because we use the API under the hood.

Define version limits by user, folder or file
We like the ability to set the number of file versions per user, folder or file

Include all file names in expiration notices of retention policies
Retention notifications to include the name of each file (instead of just names of folders containing the files) that will expire in 14 days

Warning when changing metadata associated with retention policy
Warn or prevent the user if they are changing a metadata value associated with a retention policy from a value with a longer ret policy to one with a shorter ret policy

Indefinite retention for top level, Finite retention for sub-folders
Ability to have an Indefinite retention policy as a top level folder and Finite retention policies on sub-folders. Sub folders should by default inherit from the parent, but if listed in another policy then the sub folder should be able to override the default
a. This would prevent having to have separate folder trees for Indefinite and Finite policies
b. The parent could be ‘Work in Progress’ and then just move to a sub folder…keeps the documents more logically organized by department

Password reset process is cumbersome
Even with the understanding that my specific situation might add a few steps, it is significantly longer and more involved than the analogous process for any other product, tool, or service that I use. I have described the steps that I have to go through and would encourage the Box Developers and UX Teams to consider a more seamless way to do this in some future release.

viewer uploader edit file name, delete and copy file
Viewer uploader cannot edit file name, delete and copy file. Therefore need to add permission almost Editor without inviting collaborator.

New PowerPoint, Excel, Word from mobile
When on the app, it would be helpful to have the option to create a new PowerPoint, Excel, Word doc. It is a bit confusing to tell the user they have to open the Word app first and save it to the Box mobile app when you don't need to do that from the web experience.

Box Notes section on mobile app
Similar to the web version of Box, it would be great to have a button that takes you to all Box Notes. Having this consistency between the web app and the mobile app would help improve the user experience.

Office Online Only Setting
A setting that folder owners could implement that makes it so the document can only be opened/edited with Office Online.
38 votesShield's download and print restrictions can prevent non owner/co-owner collaborators from downloading sensitive content based on classification and still allow them to open/edit the file with Office Online.

Freedom to move folders
Content sprawl is our #1 challenge. Please let us organize our folders. We don't want to interfere with the permissions, but I want to have an "Active Projects" folder and a "Project Archive" folder where I can drag and drop those relevant folders in.
107 votesMoving shared folders is not on the near-term roadmap. We understand the massive importance and we hope that a new product development to be released in 2020 will help address content sprawl.

.ics (Outlook invite) Preview
Can we please previous .ics (Outlook calendar invite) files in some way through Box? We have had so many use cases where we keep a .ics file on Box and share out a link to it so employees can download it any add it to their calendar.
Unfortunately, currently, when they open that shared link it says "error" and our employees think it doesn't work and it's not there. I know we are familiar with Box and know to just download it because it is there, but less confident users see this as a huge barrier.

Short cut link for the file in Box Drive should be available
Windows shortcut link for the file in Box Drive is broken if the BoxDrive cache is deleted. If the shortcut exists, the file in Box Drive should be opened as far as it exists.
