When outputting a report from the Admin Console, the user interface for searching folders cannot uniquely identify folders with the same fol
When narrowing down the user activity report to activities under a specific folder, a search is performed by folder name, but if there are many identical folder names, it is not possible to uniquely specify the folder.
I would like to be able to display the folder path from the root or specify by folder ID.(Japanese)

Rollback all files uploaded even if one fails to upload
Under the current design, when uploading multiple files, the successful files are stored in Box, even if one of the uploads fails. As a result, subsequent processing, e.g. adding metadata, may also not take place. This is inconvenient for the user under the usecase of using File Request+Metadata. The user has to look for files that were not uploaded and has to check the metadata for files that were uploaded. And if the uploader is anonymous, it's impossible. Shortcut to open file directly without preview
We would like to have the option to open a file directly without opening the preview first (or right click --> open with).
Maybe this can be done via a shortcut or a default setting in the user preferences?

Upload docs to Canvas, automatic creation of repository folder.
It would be helpful to have the ability to upload documents to steps in a Canvas workflow. Once uploaded, there should be folder within my box instance where those files are stored.

Requests for additional features in Box Drive v2.33
We have consolidated our content in Box, and have reduced the amount of space in the user area of our PCs to the point where almost no space exists.
We also try to keep as little space on the desktop as possible, so the new features in Box Drive v2.33 are not required.■Additional features that were an issue

Template library for enterprise
We’d love to be able to have a template folder structure that our enterprise can use to create the same folder structure over and over again. We use the same folder structure across the enterprise often. If we could create a template library that out users could access to create new Box folders with the same structure that would be super helpful.

Sender info in Relay
I would like you to add a setting for "who" went to the BoxRelay event.
For example, when managing files for the same task in the same folder, if the person in charge (uploader) and the confirmer (notification recipient) are different for each file, it would be convenient to be able to set different notification recipients according to the uploader.Thank you for your consideration.

Additional Information BoxShield Anomalous Download Alerts
Include further information within the anomalous download alert to show which application\service was used. Currently, this is only available from the user activity report, which takes a while to generate.
If the hostname and device type could be included, this would help decipher if anomalous downloads have taken place acorss multipe devices.

Metadata additonal column
Adding metadata as an additional column into Box interface which is similar to Tags can help to check the status.
The User activity report should have option to pull the report for who add/edit status in the report and should have what the collaborators tried to add.

Request: Improvement of preview of high resolution movie in Box
Currently, when users preview movie files( .mov) in Box web app, sevearal issues happens depending on the files
Unable to read the preview screen
The preview stops suddenly in the middle of the movie file and unable to start again.

Grid View For Shared Links
For people accessing a shared link on Box, without having been invited to collaborate, there ought to be an option to view files/folders/etc in "Grid View". This is available on mobile devices and when you are a collaborator -- but if you're accessing a shared link from a computer, this option is not available.

Ability to configure Box shield alerts
Be able to set Shield alert priority based on the severity (quantity, amount, % change) of the Box Shield anomalous behavior. Today the Shield alerts are static and apply to the category as whole and not related to a quantifiable measure of risk. a 100% increase is treated the same as a 10,000% increase.

Ability to stop sending email to people who has approved or signed the document by Box Sign
In Box Sign, once sign and approve by users are completed, an email is sent to all users who has signed and approved the document.
We would like to set up this email to be sent only to the requestor or specified users when approval is complete.(Japanese)

Manage Box Drive folders that sync with the Box.com - I have to uninstall Box Drive from all of my devices
Because I cannot select which folders to sync from Box.com, I cannot use Box Drive which makes going back to One Drive extremely appealing.
This seems like such basic functionality and it's very disappointing that Box didn't provide it - and actually took it away when moving from Box Sync.
My idea is for Box Drive to provide the same basic functionality that Box Sync had and One Drive and Google Drive and Dropbox have.

Google Workspace Add-on - Remove Collaborators
When a customer uses the Google Workspace Add-on (either clicking the Box icon in Google Drive to move a Google document to Box OR using the Gmail integration) and that document has Collaborators who were added in Google, then Box will emails all those Collaborators invites to the new Box folder. Multiple customers have complained about this.

canvas sharing outside the organisation
Currently one of the great things about other canvas style products is to be able to share it outside the organisation and to be able to invite a guest to contribute/edit the document.
Currently the external user needs to have a box account I believe.
Also a nice to have would be the ability to copy from Miro to Canvas

Ability to customize/configure the location of the shortcut to Box Drive folder on Windows.
We would like to have the ability to customize the location of the shortcut to Box Drive folder on Windows or to disable its creation.
Right now, the creation of the shortcut cannot be disabled or customized (just as the cache location cannot be customised), and it's always created under c:\users\username\desktop. This is not ideal for users who are not allowed access to userprofile folder.4 votes
