1. Capability to add shortcuts to link to an existing box file or folder

   Capability to create a shortcut/bookmark/link to an existing file or folder that works with box drive. So il will be easy to refer to a folder or file. This will ease my work a lot and many other user. This basic apability should have been possible from the start. Thank you

2. Co-admin permissions : report role has too many rights

   If a user has only the report co-admin role ("Run new reports and access existing reports") to let him create reports for him, he can see other things in the admin console :
   - Insights
   - Content
   - Reports (OK)
   - Platform (with the Create Sandbox button !)

   Is it possible to secure this, so he can only see the Reports part ?

3. In Box Relay, when an approval task is rejected, I want to be able to select any step.

   I would like to create a workflow like the following:

   Move (Destination: Awaiting approval 1) -> Approval Task 1 -> Move (Destination: Awaiting approval 2) -> Approval Task 2 -> Move (Destination: Awaiting approval 3) -> Approval Task 3

   If Approval Task 3 is rejected, the file would remain in "Awaiting approval 3".
   However, I actually want to move it to "Awaiting approval 2".
   It is necessary to return to the "Move (Destination: Awaiting approval 2) "step, NOT the "Task" step.

   以下のようなワークフローを作りたいです。

   ファイル移動（移動先フォルダ：承認中１）→承認１→ファイル移動（移動先フォルダ：承認中２）→承認２→ファイル移動（移動先フォルダ：承認中３）→承認３

   承認３で却下された場合、ファイルが「承認中３」に残ったままになってしまいますが、本来は「承認中２」に移動させたいです。

4. Make sidebar width manually adjustable

   I appreciate the update, but I find the new sidebar quite hard to use.
   Would it be possible to allow users to manually resize it to their preferred width?
   I think this would make the interface much more user-friendly.

5. Feedback on new interface, Box sidebar issue

   since the new interface was adopted I already inadvertently "removed from collection" a couple of folders. Guys! the "x" button is too easy to press. I don't even remember where it was before, but I never removed any folder by mistake.

7. Zapier "Find a File" Exact Match

   It would be great for the "Find a File" action to be restricted to exact match. We are looking to create an automation that pushes a follow-up PDF to the same folder as the original by "Finding" the original.

   Seems to work about 70% of the time, but when it fails, files could be accessed by others due to placement in the incorrect folder.

8. Utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator Files Without Box Drive

   Currently, files that use external references (links) in Photoshop and Illustrator cannot access those references when opened directly from Box. Our company handles a large number of such files, but due to security concerns, we have not enabled Box Drive, which has hindered our effective use of Box. If external references could be utilized without Box Drive—similar to how Excel handles them—it would significantly enhance our ability to leverage Box.

9. Create a Hub Restriction for Box Shield

   Add the ability to apply a Hub restriction (e.g., prevent content from being added to a Hub) in Shield. Users would be able to apply the Hub restriction within an access policy based on a classification label or content type. This would prevent unintentional internal and external access to content in a Hub and reduce confusion for external users that may be blocked from accessing content in a Hub due to other Shield external collaboration restrictions. This would be especially helpful for highly regulated industries like public sector agencies, government contractors, and financial services.

10. Upload Email Address Lookup Tool

    Similar to the shared link lookup feature in the Content Manager, I need the ability to search for an Upload Email Address to find out what folder that email is pointing to.

    There have been numerous times when I've been asked as the Box Admin to trace which folder an upload email addresses was enabled on. This is very difficult to determine as you have to first have an example of an attachment name that may have been uploaded previously, and then search for that file to find the folder it was posted to, and then view that folder's settings to confirm if that's the matching upload email.

    A report showing any folder that has the Upload Email Addresses enabled would also be very helpful as it might be appropriate to disable some that were enabled long ago. Similar to a Shared Links report, I'd want to know the folder name and path, when that setting was enabled and by whom, etc

11. Add New Trigger under Signing Events for "Reassign Request"

    There are times when our users would like a recipient, who is not part of the signing chain, added as a CC if a document is reassigned to a different signer. It would be nice to have a new trigger option under Relay/Workflow /Signing Events for "Reassign Request" where, if a document is reassigned, we could add an Outcome that would Send a Notification to a particular acct.

12. Add File Filtering Options in Box AI Hubs

    In some cases, it can be difficult to ensure that the most relevant files are referenced when generating answers in Box AI Hubs.

    <Suggestion>
    It would be very helpful to have options to filter which files are referenced, such as:
    -Limit by upload date
    -Restrict to files in specific folders within the Hub
    These features would improve usability and help users get more accurate answers.

15. Disable downloading of files to those not on an Allow List

    I have files I want hiring managers to see but not download. Give me the option (on files or folders) to allow/disallow downloading. Also, when a person wants to download, have it email me for permission of a one-time download or adding an email address to an Allow list if that person logs into Box.

16. User Activity Report needs ADDITIONAL default date filters

    To enable co-admins to schedule regular reports, additional default date filters are needed in the User Activity Report Date range selection. "Last 3 months", "Last 6 months" and "Year to date" would enable reports to be scheduled, rather than having to run the report manually because a Custom Range has to be selected for these periods

17. Box Shield: export Anomalous content download section of a Shield Alert to pdf

    It would be helpful for an option to save an expanded view of "Anomalous content downloaded" section of a Box Shield Alert to pdf or clipboard.

    When alerting/notifying the line managers of Target user's anomalous downloads, we always include screenshot of this section of the alert in the standard email that we send them

18. Add Shield alert filter by DATA RESIDENCY ZONE

    Dashboard should have a filter to select from all the Data Residency Zones used in the Enterprise's user accounts, so that the alerts can be filtered by DRZ, enabling co-authors from across the world to filter to show only those that they need to manage.

    The DRZ for an alert is the DRZ associated with the Target user's Box account

    I record some zoom meetings with SnagIt which creates an mp4 file (which I save to Box). Can Box AI then read/summarize that recordings?

20. About the inconvenience of Explorer-style display

    When I open a folder and find that it doesn’t contain what I’m looking for, I press Backspace to return to the parent folder. However, in Explorer view, the folder I just opened ends up hidden just above the visible area. This is extremely inconvenient.
    Why does the system place the folder I just opened in a position where it’s hidden above? It would make sense to keep the previous window state as it was, or at least move the recently opened folder to the top of the visible list. But hiding it above makes no sense at all. Please stop this behavior—it’s completely unnecessary.
