Box Drive: Support ARM processors
The new Microsoft Surface Pro X uses an ARM based processor and Box Drive doesn't support ARM processors. I'm sure use of the ARM processors will increase rapidly since it allows for much longer battery life and support cellular data connections.
81 votesWe launched ARM support for Apple devices with Box Drive v2.22
We currently do not have this planned for Windows devices.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Improve Box Drive memory usage
Box recommend 4GB of RAM as minimum system specifications. But 4GB of RAM is not enough since Box Drive tends to use more than 1GB memory when a user open folder which has a lot of items. Therefore the fetching function should be improved to run efficiently on 4GB of RAM

Automatically save Box Drive logs
I want Box Drive logs to be automatically saved in Box.
Currently, Box Drive logs are deleted by log rotation, and even a customer wants to ask Box to investigate, the logs are no longer left.
As a result, Box, Inc. sometimes cannot investigate it.Because Box recommends an unlimited-capacity digital workplace environment, I think it's nonsense that we lose logs.
Therefore, I would like to be able to automatically save the Box Drive log to Box as an option.

Add refresh button to Box Drive
Add a refresh button to Box Drive above the Log out option in the system tray. When our users experience Box Drive red marks on their folders we always tell them to log out and log back in to refresh the folders. It would be nice if there was a refresh button.

Jump to the same path on Box Drive directly from Box Web
Like Dropbox app, we would like a capability to move directly from Box Web to Box Drive. The usecase behind this is that we want to edit a file from Box Drive not Box Edit but want to search on Box Web.

Box Drive installation improvements
While I am submitting this for Box Drive, I think this should apply to all .msi installers from Box. Is there a way that we can see the version info in the file Properties - > Details? I know that .msi installation makes this trickier than .exe but it is difficult to determine if the website Download link gave me the most recent version or not.
There have been instances where the download from the website (https://www.box.com/resources/downloads#:~:text=Download%20Box%20Drive%20for%20Windows%20(64%20bit) gave me an older version than a user who had Box Drive installed with…

Box Drive Navigation
Box Drive navigation - In Windows File Explorer, after a user opens a folder, they can go back to the previous folder using "backspace" on the keyboard or "Left Arrow ←".
If a user performs the same operation on Box Drive, the user will be taken to the screen of the folder scrolled below the selected folder, but not 100% of the time.
This happens when the user opens the folder several times and returns by backspace repeatedly in the Box Drive.

Box Sync to Box Drive uninstall/install tool
I currently have Box Sync installed across the enterprise and want to move over to Box Drive without each user having to manually uninstall sync and install drive. Looking for a tool that would allow end users to perform uninstall and install all at once.

Box Drive Path in MacOS
Now I am updating my MacOS. According to "https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407737091219-Using-Box-Drive-on-macOS-File-Provider-Extension-FPE-mode", my box path was changed from "~/Box" to "~/Library/CloudStorage/Box-Box". It is inconvenient to search files in my editor because the files are located far away from my home directory. Can I fix this issue? Dropbox is still located "~/Dropbox".
