Delegator Role on Box Sign prior to sending out document
The idea is similar to adobe sign where we can assign a delegator to fields which basically means it forces that person to delegate the document for signature. I know box sign already has delegation which is called 're-assign request' but this is not ideal as some of our teams have noticed where people cut corners and sign on behalf of that person.
This way it can be enforced from the get go.

Pre-Selecting item on new list view & grid view
Previousely list view was shown information in the right pane by ジュst only selecting an item with the cursor like a Stepping stone.
You can't do that with the new UI.
Check >shown > Uncheck >move next item> Check next >shown>Uncheck....and more...
it's not speedy action.
We know that pre-selected items by cusor↓↑key, move to checkbox using tab key then enter key, then check each item.But need keyboard shortcuts easier.
Like a round robbin.

Improvement of the interval at which the version history of BoxNotes is automatically saved
As the support article below states, "While you're working in Box Notes, we automatically save your changes as a new version roughly every 5 minutes or after 5 minutes of inactivity. "
However, if you continue to operate, it will only update the "current version" and will not automatically save a new version every 5 minutes.

We would like to improve the function so that the version will be updated every 5 minutes even if the operation is being performed continuously.

Retention policy details in the Trash UI
The Bin/Trash UI displays Retention policy details the first time you trash an item until you navigate away.
Ability to have this info visible at all times in Trash UI would be helpful to end users and admin rather than running reports to check status of a single file.14 votes -

The color options are very limited. If I were to use this for my company's diagramming tool of choice, we would need to be able to load in our own color palette.

Box for Microsoft Teams integration with one Microsoft tenant ID and multiple Box EIDs.
Box for Office Online integration allows multiple Box EIDs to use the same Microsoft tenant ID.

Shield Dashboard custom date filter
In the Shield Dashboard, currently the date filter only have past 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 60days and 90days.
I would like a custom date filter because there are times where I need to search a content 3 days ago but if I set the filter at 7 days, there is too much content to search the specific alert.14 votes -

Report of incomplete user tasks
Create and automate the reporting of the incomplete tasks that are assigned in Box (e.g. assignee, workflow name, due date, status, etc.)?

Sort Field Preference in Settings
My files and folders are all indexed with numbers. It would be helpful to always sort files and folders by name to keep the indexing order. However, Box keeps sorting by the "Updated" field, which completely messes up the indexing order. Is it possible to have a Sort Preferences in Settings so one could select which field should be the default for sorting?

Manage collections folder through sub-collections
I have too many Box folders shared with me and they all show up under "All Files". Collections is a good way to organize but I need to have a hierarchy/folder structure for Collections. Currently this can only be achieved through faking a folder structure through naming.

Reporting the monthly MAU usage for each application
In the large enterprise, many customers charge the usage of Platform API call and MAU to the department, group company, subsidiary which owns Box Platform based custom application.
But currently Box doesn't provide the report to know the usage of MAU per customer application. So I strongly request to add this to the existing report or add new report.

Ability to select external users who are collaborating on a folder to be notified of workflows created in Relay
Currently, it is possible to set external users as notification recipients for workflows created in Relay only under certain conditions.
Conditions：
・The folder/file is owned by the creator of the Relay Workflow.
・It is the external user who is invited to this folder/file that is set as the notification destination.There are many situations in which we want to send notifications to external users in Relay workflows.
However, in a tenant running a closed folder configuration, it is rare that the workflow creator is the owner of the folder.Request：

Send a notification regarding document lock/unlock timing
For teams that are actively working on a single document, the lock/unlock feature is nice to prevent version control issues. However, it would be nice to have additional notifications are this feature, namely:
- "Notify me when this file is unlocked"
- "Warn me [the person who locked the file] when the file lock is about to expire"
- "Warn me [the person who locked the file] if I've left the file locked AND inactive for more than X minutes"

Enhanced Box notifications in Microsoft Teams
A new feature has been released for receiving Box notifications in Microsoft Teams, but it is limited to a few notifications such as Mentioned Comments.
It would be very useful to extend this feature to receive notifications in Microsoft Teams when uploads or downloads are made in folders you are collaborating on, or when tasks are assigned in Box Relay.

Relay: Invite external user at Manual Workflow start
We have a manual start workflow where we want to collaborate a volunteer to a template folder where they need to fill out some forms and upload back to a Box folder. Relay does not seem to let the workflow starter enter the collaborator's email UNLESS they already exist as an external user.

Copy file from relay should version the target, not create a new file
We have a release workflow, where documents are being copied to a shared environment after they have been approved. This works well for the first version of the document.
However, if we change the document and send it through the approval process again, Box creates a new document at the target area. Box does NOT create a new version of the existing document.
Since this process is really key to creating "Quality Managed" documentation, Box relay should offer to version an existing document. Defaulting to creating a new document, makes Box unusable for these kind of approvals.

I would like to change the thumbnail/preview image for videos to a specific keyframe. You can do this in most video hosting platforms.
I would like to set custom thumbnails/preview images for videos. We should be able to set it as a specific keyframe or even a custom image. You can already do this on Youtube, Vimeo etc.
