add the dependencies of a shared folder/file to a group
When U share a file/folder with a group in the group sharing management into the admin console, You don't watch the dependencies and that may become a problem when you share a folder which is named as an existing one.
To better undertand the situation:
Imagine U have a template for a project. Every time You create a new project, You going to use the same template with the same structure. So, every time U share a folder with a group for a new project (i.e PURCHASE), U will watch a list of PURCHASE folders but no information from which…2 votes -
Lock Entire Folder (and all files and folders underneath)
Product Enhancement Request: In the same way that I can currently lock files, it would be great if I could lock things at the folder level and that lock would apply to all files and subfolders within the main folder.

"Transcript cards" playback stop function
Currently, clicking on the time of entry in the Transcript cards allows the audio to be played, but it will continue to play past the end time. I think it will be easy to use if it is designed to stop playback when it reaches the end time.

Remove collaborators from certain sub folder
We need some enhancement on the removing collaborator for certain sub folder. For example I grant Amy to the parent folder which consists of sub folder A, B & C. However, I want Amy to only view sub folder A & C. Thus, I need to remove her name from sub folder B but BOX doesn't allow me to do so. My suggestion to at least add a function in order for the owner of the folder to remove collaborators for certain sub folder. Thank you.

Editor permissions without delete function
Recently, we had a user delete a very important and large folder that housed 1.4 TB of client data. We have looked into changing permissions for all users to Viewer Uploader from Editor to prevent this from happening again, but this also takes away the ability to MOVE files/folders as well. We would like there to be an option for a role to be introduced that would allow users to have all functions of Editor just WITHOUT the ability to delete.

Disable shared link expiration notifications
This unstoppable auto-notification [for shared link expiration], specifically, is the worst. While we are a fairly small firm, we use Box pretty extensively and we use shared links pretty extensively. All of our shared links automatically expire. As a result, my inbox is continuously inundated with this notification (we’re talking nearly 100, each day). I don’t have the time to look at each and review them. I don’t know if anyone could ever actually have the time to review them and make any kind of meaningful decision or conclusion based on, what is effectively, spam. With no way to stop…

Would love to have an "autoplay" feature to toggle on/off for shared links. We want to host video files on Box for newsletters and want our video content to autoplay when clicked on.

Shared Link vs Shared Folder Collaborator Options
I would like to grant Previewer collaborator option when creating a shared link on a file.
- When using the Shared Link for a file, only available collaborator options are Editor and Viewer.
- When using the Shared Link for a folder, available collaborator options: Uploader, Previewer, Viewer, Previewer Uploader, Viewer Uploader, Editor, Co-Owner.
When granting access at the folder level opens a security hole where later files can be viewed as well, when only one file needs to be shared.

rearrange the order of files in folder
I'd like to rearrange the order in which files (for example photos) appear in a folder.

Microsoft Office 365 Germany cannot connect with Box .
Office 365 Germany is a european office product for customers who wish to store their data in europe only. When I want to connect that service to Box, I get an error message.
I have contacted Microsoft on how to connect Office 365 Germany with Box. They supplied me with a website where they explain which endpoints Office 365 Germany uses. If Box uses the same endpoints, we could connect the two services.

[Fix] Poor support for moving drive and recognizing existing content
I had to disconnect a drive and Box sync broke and has been a massive pain to get working again. When the drive was reconnected, Box couldn't reuse the old folder, and once it started a new folder, I didn't appear to have the option to change it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Box sync so I could point it at the original directory it used with all the files still in place. It did not recognize any of the files. Instead, it renamed all the folders, downloaded duplicates of everything, and then ran out of space on my cloud storage…

Support AD Conditional Access with Microsoft Azure
Please support AD Conditional Access with Microsoft Azure. It meets security requirements so easily.
And it is compatible for third-party apps by configuring SAML settings.I think that is not easy to develop Azure cooperation feature, but I require that.
60 votesThis capability is partially available depending on the specifics on Conditional Access policies. At the moment we support it under the "Require device compliance" grant, and we aim to cover the "Require app protection policy" grant in upcoming quarters.

Email to Box Change Disappointing
Box decided to remove email to folder options for less than business users, with supposed preservation of existing email to folder set ups. That didn't work. The existing email to folder broke, one of our critical business processes was subsequently broken.
1) I did not receive notice of this change
2) I can't even view what the existing email to folder email address is.
3) It's a poor move to remove a feature an existing customer has access to. Should have been grandfathered in.1 vote -
Ability to disable the download button on the root folder of my main shared folder
I am setting up a folder in my account as an external-facing folder of assets. This will be a public folder that anyone can access with the proper link. Currently, I'm in trial of Box and noticed that the "Download" button appears at the root folder of this shared asset folder. I want people to be able to download assets as they wish, but don't want the download button to be at the root folder. add dynamically a folder to a group
When a structure of folders is created as a template, it would be cool when this template is copied and if a at least one group is affected to automatically add this new folder to the group.
Now you have to go to the admin console to manually add it and it's wasted time and not very efficient. Maybe also get the possibility to do it through relay.1 vote -
Remove / Hide avatars when editing a box note
When editing a Box Note, there is an avatar with my initials that jumps around to wherever my cursor is. I find it very distracting and quite annoying. I can't think of any possible benefit to having this bouncing ball showing me that I'm editing the note. I kind of already know that. If others are editing the same note, it shows that, too. Maybe that's of some limited use, although I don't know what I'd do with that information, other than once again be distracted from what I'm trying to do. So anyway, it'd be great if there were…
