  2. Requesting notification of email address of who downloads song files.

    We send out email blasts to our subscribers and include links to music we license. We receive a notification that someone downloads the song files. But it does not say who? Is there a way to retrieve the email address of the person that downloads files from our box account?

  3. Back up the data in the box to other storage in case of box incidents.

    We want to back up Box to other cloud storage or servers in case we cannot access the contents due to Box incidents.
    We would like to have the feature to migrate Box data to other clouds.

    Recently, there have been many Box incidents, and we need to take action to ensure that we can carry out our business in any situation.

  4. Allow Relay notifications to include manually entered email addresses instead of limiting the list to existing collaborators

    Currently the Relay system will only allow notifications to be sent to existing collaborators or users. There should be a way to allow any manually entered email address to be a notification destination. This would allow for group or shared email accounts to be a notification destination. Group email addresses or shared email accounts may not exist as specific collaborators but still could be useful for notifications.

  5. Notification if content is screenshot

    We have secure content that we send to vendors as "non downloadable" but we also need to know if they take screenshots of that content. We would like functionality that notifies us if a user takes a screenshot of our content.

  6. We would like to have the ability to receive a notification after uploading a file from a file request link to confirm that the file was upl

    After uploading from the file request link, "File successfully submitted" is displayed, but it is not possible to check which folder the file was uploaded to and when, so it is not possible to determine if the file was actually uploaded correctly.
    Since uploading from a file request link can be done by non-accounted users, it is not practical to check the destination folder, but we would like to see the feature implemented, since receiving a notification would provide evidence that the file was uploaded correctly, as well as the date and time of the upload.

    どのフォルダにいつアップロードされたのか確認することができず、実際に正しくアップロードされているのか判断することができません。
    ファイルリクエストリンクからのアップロードはアカウントを持たないユーザーでも可能であるため、
    アップロード先のフォルダを確認することは現実的ではありませんが、通知を受け取ることで正しくアップロードされたという証跡と日時が確認できるため機能の実現を希望します。

    When users want to reactivate account, they think it sounds as though it is self-service when it actually involves submitting tickets and they can't do it by themselves.

    These notifications are currently enabled on enabled on Enterprise level (Enterprise ID 143896) and cannot be modified on individual Box account user level. Users are complaining about having their inbox swamped with notification warnings that collaborations are about to end/expired

    We would like to offer individual managed users the option to turn off notification warnings that a collaboration is about to end/expire on individual Box account user level. .

    Currently we observed some notification email issue from box, as you can see in the email, since added long address at the right bottom of the xtml file, but the email cannot present the notification in a good scale and the view width is over enlarged, pls check the change influence and it was ok before, only happened from 4 weeks ago , tks

  10. Event Stream notification for Admin Console changes

    We need to monitor security of our environment and want to be able to identify and flag, via the Event Stream, when any Admin Console setting is changed.

    This is available via the UI in User Reports, but is not in the Event Stream.

    This is especially important for enterprises who rely on SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar to alert to unauthorized actions.

  11. Notification when outbound collaboration is blocked by collaboration whitelist

    When outbound collaboration is restricted by Box Governance's collaboration whitelist, folder invitations addressed to our managed users from users outside the whitelist will be blocked.
    If the source of the invitation is a legitimate business partner, the company user must ask the administrator to add the domain to the whitelist, but the company user receiving the invitation has no way of knowing that it has been blocked.
    Thus, the application does not occur, and many collaboration opportunities are lost without being noticed.
    (The invitee will receive an error message, but only a handful of Box professionals will understand the message…

  12. Drive: Option to disable update notification

    We have a very restrictive policy and require only specific version of software to run on end-users computer to minimize risk with incompatibility.

    Box Drive does not push out update silently but does give out update notification to end users so they have the choice of update.

    We are definitely tracking this feature, but it is not yet on the roadmap for delivery.

    How would envision managing your groups?

    Would you want to sync with an existing directory, or create the Groups directly in Box?

  15. ON/OFF setting for Slack channel notification (permission)

    Not everyone in the channel can view {filename}. You don't have sufficient permission to share this. Try contacting the owner or editors of the file.

    When I shared BOX url to Slack channel, mention above would show and it's really annoying. I would be really happy if there is ON/OFF setting for this.

  17. Push Notifications for @Mentions

    Box push notifications on iOS are very limited currently and only send the user a push notification when...

    1. There's a comment added to a file and they're the most recent uploader
    2. They've been added to a folder

    The most logical other push notification to add would be for @mentions which, in theory, would increase overall adoption of comments as well.

    We can easily add or move file from local storage to Box drive or browser.
    However, box does not prompt any popup when we add or move file.

    It may cause miss operation.
    So, Please add popup when add or movefile.

  19. Box Capture enhancements

    Videos recorded using Box Capture on iPad have been randomly saving with incorrect orientation for some time now. Videos will be recorded with iPad in landscape mode, but files will come out in portrait mode. I have had to manually reorient many many videos over the past few months.

    Clearing the local storage only works temporarily to fix the video rotation issue, and it eventually creeps back in. It is also odd to me that clearing the local video storage would have any effect on this. Is there some other data that is in the local storage that is gumming…

  20. Disable shared link expiration notifications

    This unstoppable auto-notification [for shared link expiration], specifically, is the worst. While we are a fairly small firm, we use Box pretty extensively and we use shared links pretty extensively. All of our shared links automatically expire. As a result, my inbox is continuously inundated with this notification (we’re talking nearly 100, each day). I don’t have the time to look at each and review them. I don’t know if anyone could ever actually have the time to review them and make any kind of meaningful decision or conclusion based on, what is effectively, spam. With no way to…
