  2. We would like to hide the prompt that asks whether to lock the file displayed in BoxDrive.

    We would like to hide the prompt that asks whether to lock the file displayed in BoxDrive.

    Currently, BoxDrive shows a prompt for file locking every time a file is opened.
    This is particularly disruptive when opening multiple files simultaneously.

    We would like administrators to have the ability to turn off this prompt through settings.

  3. HTML files should also be supported by Box AI

    Currently, HTML files are not supported by Box AI.
    As we move forward with the use of Box AI, we have a department that frequently uses HTML files, and that department requested that we use Box AI to obtain information from HTML files.
    As such, we would like you to improve this so that HTML files are also supported by Box AI.

  4. Ability to preview contents of the files contained in the zip file

    Box can list all the folders and files contained in the zip file, however it doesn't allow us to preview the contents of each files contained in the zip file.
    We need to download the zip file to preview the contents.

    It would be better to have ability to preview the contents of the each files so that we can complete our work within Box.

    Currently, the All Files page has a column for 'Size,' but this only shows the number of files. We need to know the storage volume of the folder/file. Please add storage volume (e.g., in MB) to the All Files page.

    Thank you for your feedback! You should be able to upload from the Office apps. Otherwise, this is an iOS limitation.

  8. User Details Report: Add "number of files owned"

    In the user details report, there is an item for storage used, but
    There is no item for the number of files owned.
    Please add a field for the number of files owned.

  9. Fix "missing" files bug in Box Drive

    Please fix the "missing" files bug with Box Drive which has been an issue for years. I'm honestly getting tired of having to tell my users to log out and log back in to clear app cache to fix the issue. It keeps happening after updates. I don't understand why this is so unreliable.

  10. The ability to have an option to disable the auto folder creation of "Microsoft Teams Chat Files"

    We would like to have an option to configure the folder creation of Box for Teams. For organizations that don't allow users to use Box as personal folder, Microsoft Teams Chat Files should be off and is controllable based on the needs.

  11. Box Sign - Ability to send templates from All Files

    The "Sign - Templates" section in Box used to send templates has a lack of folders and filtering which leads to no ability for us to organize or filter our templates. However the "All Files - (Saved templates folder)" already has the ability to create folders, organize templates and see templates (the blue icon). We would love to be able to send templates with the fields in the document (like in the sign - templates section) from the "All files" folder.

  14. Support for PDF files based on vector graphics, vectorial

    Bonjour / Hello,

    In our business, we manipulate PDF files based on vector graphics. Box Sign currently does not support these types of files. Even in the case of Box preview, it does not handle the preview very well (on Chrome, the browser tends to freeze when a zoom of 70% is applied). Would it be possible to support these fairly large files (more than A0)?

  16. Opening multiple files at once

    It would greatly improve flow and user experience to be able to open multiple PDFs at once. Our team must review numerous individual PDFs, and we have only ever been able to open one PDF at a time. It becomes a tedious task to open each individual PDF.

    I can't drag and drop to move a file as easily as on google drive
    The all files folder should automatically expand when I plan to drop a file to move it to.

    Warn or prevent the user if they are moving a file from a folder with longer retention policy to a shorter retention policy that the longer retention will still hold

  19. Ability to preview previously cached files by using spacebar in mac finder

    When navigating through files in Mac Finder, if you select a file and hit spacebar it will pop open a preview.

    Since Box Sync supports this one would think if a file has been previously opened and cached locally by Box Drive, it would also be supported but it doesn't

  20. Allow DES files to be synced via Box Drive

    We would like for DES files to be synced to Box cloud via Box Drive. They are currently being ignored in the same way PST files are ignored. Ideally, having the ability to enable/allow exclusions would be ideal.
