   A way to force reset everyone to the enterprise default for shared link permission level.

4. Virus Scanning: Allow Customers to Enable Virus Scan

   Prior to 2017, virus scan notifications (when a potentially malicious file was detected) could optionally be enabled (via Internal Admin -> Enterprise Features Customization) which would do 2 things:
   1. Generate an email notification to the primary admin
   2. Generate an email notification to the file owner

   In 2017, Box made a change to also add a notification for the FILEMARKEDMALICIOUS event to the Event Stream. https://docs.box.com/docs/api-changelog#section-2016-05-18-new-event-type-for-enterprise-events

   However, in order for this event to populate in the event stream, the 'Virus Scan Notifications' must be enabled via IA, which also generates those 2 other email types above.

   REQUEST: Separate 'virus scan notifications' into 2 options:

   Setting 1: Enable email notifications to the primary admin and file owner
   Setting 2: Enable the FILEMARKEDMALICIOUS event to populate in the Event Stream

   RATIONALE: We want this notification to appear in the event stream to import by their DLP/CASB tools (AvePoint, Skyhigh, etc.), but they not NOT want email notifications automatically generated and going to the end users.

6. Enhance Word Previews

   MS viewer in Box in iOS - specifically the Word viewer. It used to only show the top navigation bar when you long pressed the screen even on the first and last page.

   Now the nav bars do not go away on those 2 pages. For docs with very narrow margins at top and bottom and they are only 1 or 2 pages long.

7. Box Drive Conflict Handling: Save Edits to Conflict Copies Instead of Overwriting

   Request to change the behavior when conflict happens on Box Drive. Since Box Edit is currently uploading to a conflict copy after conflict occur. This will likely make you a bit confusion.

   Current behavior:

   1. User A opens and edits file X without lock via Box Drive.
   2. User B opens and edits file X without lock via Box Drive.
   3. User B saves the file X via Box Drive. Upload the changes as version 2 to file X
   4. User A saves the file X via Box Drive. Conflict happened. Create a conflict copy like file X (email address).
   5. User A saves file X again while keeping it open. Upload the changes as version 3 to file X

   Behavior we want:

   1. User A opens and edits file X without lock via Box Drive.
   2. User B opens and edits file X without lock via Box Drive.
   3. User B saves the file X via Box Drive. Upload the changes as version 2 to file X
   4. User A saves the file X via Box Drive. Conflict happened. Create a conflict copy like file X (email address).

8. Enhance the 'Storage Aggregate' Chart in Admin Console - Allow Exporting & Adjustments

   The 'Storage Aggregate' chart on the homepage of the Admin Console is currently the only way for an admin to see/view the total storage used on a daily basis within their EID

   As such, we should enhance this chart in the following ways:
   1. Allow this chart to be expanded/made bigger
   2. Allow customization of the time period - 'show me total daily storage over the past 2 weeks, or month, etc.'
   3. All exporting of the total daily values into a simple CSV/Excel report

10. Feature Enhancements: Grouped Boolean Operators, CSV Export, and Batch Download

    For the Content Manager please look at the following:

    1. Allow grouped Boolean operators, e.g. (“ben phillips” OR “benjamin phillips”) AND (“london” OR “ec2v”)
       Currently support only for (“ben phillips” AND “London”)

    2. Allow export of full search result list (title, file path, etc) to CSV
       Currently just displays search results on screen, paginated to 20 results

    3. Allow download of all search result content (files/folders) in one zip file
       Currently checkbox only allows selection of 20 results on screen for download

    The current feature of duplicated file name on Box Drive is to add email address on the end of file name and on Box Edit, a number with parenthesis- (1),(2) will be added.

13. Remove Last Updated By for Root Salesforce Folder

    Since our root SFDC folder is owned by the Box Service Account and our users are collaborators on it, anytime a user modifies something in that folder their name appears as someone that accessed/modified it.

    This is creating worry in our network because Advisor 1 is led to believe that Advisor 2 has access to his/her files, which is not the case. Advisor 2 may have just accessed their own files within that parent folder.

    Is it possible to remove this column entirely from our view or change the sort by something else so names do not appear?

14. Better handling of situation when another application creates a folder at the Box Drive folder path

    Would like to see a few changes to Box:

    1) A better error message
    2) A possibility to continue regardless of the error
    3) A better handling of the situation where an application have taken ‘ownership’ of the Box directory

15. Configurable minimum TLS level for communicating with our tenant

    We want a means to force TLS 1.2 in our environment for both internal and external users. We can control our managed users, but it does leave some external users potentially using a lower TLS connection.

18. Reports: Add Matter Name to Title of Report Export (Excel File)

    Example name of the current report:

    That doesn't tell me which matter it's related to.

    A unique identifier - likely the name - for the matter/hold should also be added to the file name.

19. You cannot get trashed versions via the API or deleted trashed versions

    While you can GET and permanently delete FILES & FOLDERS via the API by interacting with TRASH, you cannot do so for FILE VERSIONS, e.g. GET/DELETE

20. Ability to revoke admin rights

    Our account admin is no longer with the company, and we have no way to 1) revoke their access or 2) reassign their admin permissions. Given the confidential nature of the documents stored in Box, it is vital to have this ability internally. We thank you in advance for your help!
