Allow resizeable/full-screen file search form
Actually the file search UX in Windows has a design giving priority to form over function, with a concept half-way resembling a tray application notification.
The problem with that is that the ridiculous window size most of the time trims relatively long file paths to the point of having on-screen indistinguishable search results for different files, if they are at somewhat deepth in the file tree. The smallnes brings also unnecesary scroll, and forces the pains of a self imposed real-state screen-space shortage, more proper of mobile devices but undesirable in desktop.

Custom Columns (with sort) for Users and Groups
Custom Columns (with sort) for Users and Groups
The current Admin console defaults to the below columns with no way to customize for better productivity:
Name
Email
User ID
Role
Status
Storage UsedThis request would allow the Main admin account to customize which columns are displayed while looking at your Users and Groups page. These custom column choices can be chosen from the custom Tags (which are already a feature). Allowing important information to be seen at a glance rather than having to go into each user to get additional pertinent information.

Augment existing collaborator permissions in inherited subfolders
Scenario:
Folder A is shared with User X with Viewer permission
Folder B is a subfolder of Folder A, on which User X requires Editor permissionAccording to support, the only way to accomplish this in the web UI is to first remove User X as a collaborator on Folder A, add them as an Editor on Folder B, and then re-add them as a Viewer on Folder A
This is clunky, annoying, and results in a lot of extra notifications.
Clearly this is supported by the underlying file system because you can do it directly with the Box…

Use Box (cloud, not drive) as browser's download location
I need a solution for preventing files downloaded from the web from being saved directly to my device. This puts sensitive client information on the device and requires me to delete the file after uploading it to Box, and hackers can still find information on a hard drive that has been "deleted". It would be much more secure if I could select Box as the browser's location where all downloads are stored. It seems this should be possible with Box's browser extension.

View Owner/Creator of Files in Box Drive
We would like the ability to display accurate information about the Owner/creator of files within Box Drive for Windows. The Owner column in Windows was used prior to our migration to Box to show who originally created the file for a folder all in a single glance. Although Box.com shows the upload history of individual files, it's a manual process of viewing each file-- a pain point-- compared to the table view of File Explorer with the Owner column displaying. GDPR- PII Detection
Increase PII detection templates from just three Social Security no, Credit card and Custom text to more as offered by other DLP products in the marketplace.
In addition to real-time detection, also allow discovery of the legacy data utilizing the same templates. Notification on detection could include an on-screen warning/ policy tip in addition to email and file quarantine options etc.

Option to send notifications when a change is made to a shared file
Have an option to send notifications whenever a change is made to a shared file. I don't want this for every file all the time, but in certain situations this is very helpful - for example, when I'm asking people to add information to an Excel sheet.

Setting to be notified when a specific file, folder, or note is modified.
We have a team that needs to be notified when a Note is modified. They are using comments to achieve this. It would be a great setting option to receive notifications on modifications to a specific file, folder or note.

Enhancing View Visibility with Text and Background Customization
I received feedback from a customer regarding improving visibility within views.
They specifically requested the following enhancements:
・Ability to adjust text size
・Ability to change text color
・Expanded background color palette, including darker color optionsThese improvements would allow users to better tailor the interface to their preferences and working environments (e.g., long working hours or dark mode setups).
In views with a high density of information, visibility directly impacts productivity, so we believe this would be a valuable enhancement.

Error notification of Box Drive should be restricted only be related to files which the user has accessed or edited before.
Or implement a new setting. Or implement a new setting to switch on/off to receive the error notifications.

Enable File Upload Notifications Programmatically
Ability to turn on File Upload Notifications when programmatically creating a File Request. https://developer.box.com/reference/resources/file-request/

Access Box AI via search bar. Generate Box AI insights from ALL internal Box content that I have permission to, not just individual files
E.g. we have years of contracts and legal research on a variety of different issues - articles, contract templates, white papers, screenshots, etc.
We would like to have Box AI trained on our own research and contracts, that can help generate contract clauses - like, "based on our own data, generate a warranty provision for a client that operates a SaaS data storage service" with a result that provides suggestions and Box links back to the documents where it found those suggestions.

Issue with File Viewing Recorded as Editing ファイル閲覧が編集として記録される問題
I would like to request an improvement regarding the issue where simply viewing a file is recorded as editing. Viewing and editing are different activities and should be recorded and displayed separately.

Upon folder upload via web or Drive, if any files fail due to file/path name limit, provide a list of those files
When a file path exceeds 255 characters, the file would in some circumstances (e.g on Windows), fail from upload. When an entire folder is moved, there is no way of knowing if or how many files may have failed to upload. This is due to OS limitation, but a Box notification or a report could at least allow a manual transfer or shortening the names of the impacted files.

Request File Marked Malicious Error in Box Web App UI and api
Constant monitoring the "enterprise events adminlogs" for FILEMARKEDMALICIOUS events is not feasible for our application. Request is to add filemarkedmalicious error, similar to filesizelimitexceeded error, so that the user the can be instantly notified of potential problem at file upload time for best user experience.
Instant notification is available today in our application, without this ability our users would see a degradation in their app experience.

We want admins to get approval/give notification to another admin when specific changes are made in enterprise settings.

Notifications of login activity sent by email should state the timezone used
Emails with login activity sent by Box are not in the local time and the actual timezone is not stated. I have been advised by Box these notifications are in Pacific Time. It would be useful if timezones could be identified in emails sent by Box - when trying to determine if there have been illegitimate logins, knowing the correct time is critical.

Only allow submission of an invite form if the custom text length is acceptable
Regarding the new 254 character limit on custom messages in collaborator invites:
If there is an invalid email address in the top field, it is highlighted with a red message and the invite cannot be sent until the exception is fixed.
If there is an invalid message length in the bottom field, then it should be highlighted in red and the invite cannot be sent until the exception is fixed.
Or, just prevent that field from containing more than 254 characters. Some sites include a "remaining characters" counter next to the window to make this limitation clear.
