Enhance file storage location for Box Drive
Having files stored in a hidden user cache folder is a very bad design. Leave them in the folder where they "physically" are, instead, just as Box sync, Dropbox, Mega, and others do.
Plus, let me choose where the app installs in and which folders I want to keep synced. As is it now, Box Drive has a needlessly redundant mechanic, eats up space on the system drive, and give no control to users.
I uninstall the app until these problems are addressed.

Allow folders to be uploaded with File Request
File Request is a helpful feature, but often isn't useful as most external parties want to share folders (including sub folders) of documents with us. Can a feature be added to allow folders to be shared as part of File Request - perhaps renamed to Folder/File Request?
39 votesAt this point, there is no short to medium-term plan to extend File Request to accept folder uploads. Please continue to upvote/add feedback so we are able to revisit the prioritization at a later time. Thanks!

File Request - Display Icon on Folders with File Request Enabled
On the website, much like the icons on/next to folders for Shared Links, Descriptions, or Sync To Desktop, it would be nice to have an icon for folders that have the File Request feature enabled on them. It would greatly assist with being able to easily identify folders that have the feature enabled at first glance. Thank you.
32 votesThe File Request Enabled indicator is available under Shared Link on the right-hand side.

Box Drive support MacOS Monterey
Box does not support Box Drive aliases with Mac OS Monterey. We need this feature back so users don't remove/delete files and folders from Box by mistake.

User-Level 'History/Activity Manager' - View Prior Actions with Option to Undo
Users often perform a variety of actions in their account - renaming files, moving files, copying files, etc.
There's always a success/failure banner (with an 'undo' button) for these larger actions (like move/copy), but that banner is dismissed pretty quickly
There are scenarios, however, where a user performs an action (especially a somewhat destructive action - like accidentally moving a bunch of files) and they need to undo it AFTER the 'undo?' banner disappears.
REQUEST: Add an 'Activity Manager' or 'History Manager' at the account level that allows a user to view their actions and undo…

Hubs permission model should be more granular
Currently in the Box Hubs Beta, all collaborators invited into a Hub receive the "Viewer" permission on files and folders linked in the Hub. This does not allow for Hub content to be view-only and block downloading of content. Alternative methods of managing this such as rolling out classification policies would not be scalable as Hubs usage grows. It would be great if Hubs collaboration could be more granular and there was an ability to invite users or groups into a Hub with other permissions such as "Previewer" so they are more restricted on what they can do after accessing…

Collaboration Report - Add Last Accessed Column
Box Admin frequently runs reports on all external collaborators who they work with and wants to remove external collaborators from files that they haven't accessed in awhile. Wants to be able to run a report that filters to all external collaborators and allows you to see the files that they are collaborated on AND the last date that they accessed those files. This will help the admin determine if an external collaborator can be removed from a file. The collaborator report allows you to do most of this. However, the Collaborator report is missing a "last accessed" column. The…

File request - Allow only Manage Users from an EID to upload via File Request
In file request, have the ability to state that only a managed user in the EID or an external user that has been invited to the folder can upload, no one else. By doing this, it prevents a file request link from being randomly guessed or found on the internet AND prevents a random user from uploading bad or malware/virus infected content. The current state of requiring the user to login is too generic and doesn't meet the requirement of keeping the file request locked down. Using the collaboration role for upload is not what is needed. The File Request…
