Ability to display groups on a single line in the Collaboration Report
The Collaboration report shows duplicate information for the same user if the user belongs to more than one group or if the individual and group collaborate on the same folder.
As part of the inventory, we want to extract the access rights set for a folder, but it is inconvenient if user information is output in duplicate.
When accessing a folder and viewing the collaboration information directly, the group is specified to be displayed on a single line.
Please create an option to display them on a single line for reports as well.In Japanese：

Improve the sort order of candidate groups on invite modal
Currently, candidate users/groups that partially match the texts I entered are displayed in the ascending order.
We want a way to get the user/group that perfectly matches the texts I entered displayed at the top.For e.g., let's say we have the 4 groups each titled "Enterprise Sales team", "Commercial Sales team", "Online Sales team", "Sales team".

Inactive Status - Should have visual indicator that shows the account is inactive when user is still a collaborator on folder/file
When I change a user to inactive in the admin console, The user is still a collaborator on a folder or file. There is no way for the active folder collaborators to know if people are active or inactive. The inactive user should either appear greyed out in the list of users or have an red x or something to indicate this user is no longer active. You would become aware if you try to send a comment or at mention to the inactive user it will not pop up but that still doesnt emphasis that person is no longer…

NetSuite move folder contents and link when converting lead-prospect-customer
I discovered that when you change a customer between the stages of lead/prospect/customer that because each type is linked it's own "Box Record Type Config" and each of those have their own "Record Type Folder Name", that when you go from lead->prospect the files that were originally uploaded to Box that have a folder inside the "lead" folder group does not move with the NetSuite customer change. Hence to the user it seems that the files are lost but really just the link is lost.

Ability to show or hide specific metadata templates for specific users and groups only.
As the number of metadata templates increases, selecting metadata when creating file request links or Relay workflows can become complicated and lead to mistakes.
By setting metadata templates that you want to use only for specific users/groups, you can reduce mistakes like this and improve the usability of Box, so We would like to see it implemented.メタデータテンプレート数が増加するにあたりファイルリクエストリンクやRelayワークフローの作成の際のメタデータ選択が煩雑になりミスを誘発する可能性があります 。

Box Shield Smart Access - Require approval when doing a Business Justification override of a Classification
I want to allow team members to override a Box Shield Classification/Access Policy with a Business Justification ONLY IF the appropriate person approves the override.
"Appropriate person" would be 100% configurable and different across different Classification Labels. Options like:
- Person who created the Classification Label
- Main Admin or Co-Admin with appropriate permissions
- An assigned authorized person or group (e.g. legal, compliance, infosec, IT, folder or file owner).E.g. scenario #1: "Highly Classified" label - only Admin, Co-Admin with Shield permission, xxx person in InfoSec, or yyy person in IT could approve the override.

Request for improvement to the number of users without access displayed on the content card in Box for Teams
If the user has only been invited as a group, they will be counted and shown as "without access" even though they have access permissions because they are not a direct collaborator.
We are aware that this behavior is documented in a support article.
However, the display differs from the actual situation and may induce incorrect responses, as described below.
Therefore, we would like to request a fix so that it shows the accurate number of users without access, whether they are direct collaborators or group collaborators.ex）

Box Sign notifications: a setting to group notifications sent to signers in case of many docs sent for signing during the day
Sometimes our managers receive several docs for signing during the day and it's not convenient to be pinged by the requests during the day, also there is a chance to miss something if they don't sign immediately.
We'd like an option to group such notification in order that the employee receives one notification per day with all docs they need to sign.

Show all groups in Content Manager
We'd like to target all groups in content manager in the admin console. Search results currently shows 1st 10,000 groups, but does not show groups created after the 10,000th group. We would like all of our groups to be shown in the content manager.

Indexing Box Drive Offline Files
I have access to a number of folders that I don't need frequently (if at all), but I do have a select group of folders that I use daily, and I keep these stored as files available offline. I recently migrated from a computer that used Box Sync to a computer using Box Drive, and I was very disappointed to find that I couldn't search my offline files using the windows file explorer. Instead, I'm forced to use the Box Drive search window, which requires that I search ALL of my folders, which frustrates many of my directed searches.

Add ability to get a user's collaborations via API
Since there is a function to get a list of invitations to the group, I want to provide the same to the users.

In the interim, you can identify all of a user’s collaborations by requesting items in the user’s root folder (id = 0) and filtering out those where the owned_by user is the current user. This would require an additional API call for each item to get the collaboration id, but if you are only interested in knowing which items re collaborated versus owned by the user, it may be sufficient for your purposes.

Role based permissions or more granular permissions on groups
Ideal is a role based permission where you can select individual folders, people, and files that users have access to as well as admin permissions.
Other option is to add more granular permissions for groups.

Hubs permission model should be more granular
Currently in the Box Hubs Beta, all collaborators invited into a Hub receive the "Viewer" permission on files and folders linked in the Hub. This does not allow for Hub content to be view-only and block downloading of content. Alternative methods of managing this such as rolling out classification policies would not be scalable as Hubs usage grows. It would be great if Hubs collaboration could be more granular and there was an ability to invite users or groups into a Hub with other permissions such as "Previewer" so they are more restricted on what they can do after…

Add a search bar to Groups menu when creating new user
When creating a new user in the Admin Console, it is possible to search for specific folders to add this user to as a collaborator. Unfortunately, there is not a search function for adding users to groups from this New User page, and when these group names are rather long and the full name of the group is not able to be seen in the menu, and when an organization has a large number of groups, it can be difficult to determine which group to add the user to.

Hubs Template
Make a Hub a template to then copy and paste the Hub in order to share with different groups of stakeholders.
37 votesHi! We release "Copy hub" feature in Hub's menu, near settings. This allows users to copy any hub they have access to and admins or hub co-owners to manage this functionality.
In the future we plan to add specific "Template" functionality but for now you can create templates yourself.

Box Relay
Allow metadata and other substitutions in the message body and subject lines of the Assign a Task and Send a Notification outcomes. We would like to be able to customize message body and subject lines with one or more metadata items. As an example, if we have a workflow that is being run for each of several subject people (think onboarding a group of new employees), the tasks will be assigned to the same user for multiple people. We'd like to add name of target employee in the subject line or body of the outcomes.

Custom collaboration expiration periods for individual folder collaborators
Currently, the only options for collaboration expiration on a folder is set at an enterprise level.
The request is multipart, for the options to
1) Set a custom collaboration expiration period at the folder level only (regardless of what the enterprise setting is)

Augment existing collaborator permissions in inherited subfolders
Scenario:
Folder A is shared with User X with Viewer permission
Folder B is a subfolder of Folder A, on which User X requires Editor permissionAccording to support, the only way to accomplish this in the web UI is to first remove User X as a collaborator on Folder A, add them as an Editor on Folder B, and then re-add them as a Viewer on Folder A
This is clunky, annoying, and results in a lot of extra notifications.
Clearly this is supported by the underlying file system because you can do it directly with the Box CLI:
